wildlife can hear the cam click for photos, or the cam motor running for videos. that's why bears sometimes "taste" the cam; it's alive.
The cameras are digital. There is no click for photos or motor running for videos. There's no sound. There is a faint red light that some animals notice. The adult bears will notice and investigate any new camera, then usually leave it alone.
