Oh trust.....my dad was one of these parents. Used to embarass me soooo bad doing stuff like this. Always talking about sueing the teacher. Like what? I was such a quiet kid...terrible student because I never got attention at home, ironically. 🤣🤣 Watching this reminds me to homeschool or else I will have the same fate as a parent. Default is real. 🤣🤣🤣🤣

When over half the class has a parent on the board of your private school, there are way too many bored parents. They need to get a life!

At the school I taught, parents had the choice of whether their child was on school photos or not. This particular parent had signed the document saying NO to photos. The class went to on a trip to the woods, lots of photos were taken and then uploaded to the school website. There were no photos with her child. She came into school went crazy at me for excluding her child from the photos. Saying I was bullying her child and that I never liked him. After showing her the document stating no photos. She said I should have sent the photos to her first for approval. mmm not going to happen.

Yep, these situations are absolutely real in every school. I once had a parent tell me that if her daughter’s barrette falls out of her hair I need to make sure to put it back in so her hair doesn’t fall in her eyes during school. I also had two parents come and tell me that I had to give homework to their son every day so that he had something to do at home.

I'm a homeschool mom but i tought in a school before i came home to raise the kiddos. i did send them to a private school for the first few years but that didn't work out. I'm laphing so hard because i was that mom who's kid had a problem going to the bathroom at school, #1 and #2. she would end up with UTIs and blockages all the time and needed to go to the doctors for it often. it was terrible to watch her go threw the anxiety and pain. it was also coasting us a fortune in medical bills. i never did ofure to take her home to go potty threw out the day thow. but honestly, what do you do in a case like this except discuss it with the teacher 🤷‍♀️.
these are so funny and entertaining and i know people can have very high expectations for others whole holding low standards for their own contributions. that's what males these funny because they are true to life. when i tought in a school the parents were the hardest part of teaching but then i totally got it when i sent my kids to school. we payed for a private school....not an expensive one but still had tuition on top of paying school taxes.....and my ADHD child was not getting any help all day every day. all her work came home every day because she got nothing done throughout the day. so while making dinner, taking care of new baby, and whatever else happens in the eavnings i was teaching my daughter. if i didn't get it all done....what they couldn't get done all day i had to had done in 2 hours before she had to eat dinner and go to bed.....she would get detention. so staying late afture school to sit in a room doing nothing was then cutting into my afture school homeschool time then i only had 1 hour to teach her. anyways, teaching while i was making dinner wasn't working and paying for a school that wasn't teaching her wasn't working but i feel like i was a bit of a nightmare mom trying to work with the school to find a way to be able to keep her there and habe her get an education there. I'm sorry to the teachers if i was a nightmare. parents are the kids one advocate and i was trying to fight for my daughter to be tought in school. i will admit, teaching and ADHD child is not easy to put it nicely, but it's worth the struggle.

Teachers do NOT talk like this anymore. This may be accurate for the 1950s. The comments are an echo chamber of ex teachers. I worked for a school corporation and I did just fine. You have to be in tune and care about kids. They're not your kids which means you treat them better. Ots not difficult to know what to expect from parents of you aren't in tune with the children.
