    R.I.P Mr. Toad... It's a shame the Penetrator Toad had to witness that.. One hell of a video though, Gavin! I tried watching a few of that Drain Addicts videos but they just failed in comparison. Just doesn't have your Gusto lol Keep up the amazing work!

    My mind always goes back to the 2x4 demonstrations when they cut through the board in about 15 seconds and we all marvel.... WHERE IS THAT NOZZLE IN THE FIELD?!!? They never seem to translate from demo to field with quite the same efficiency.... Great job, great video! Thanks!!!

    From the camera images the roots would be a good candidate for the a strong flex shaft machine. The Picote’s Super Midi and up with some premium chains on it should tear those roots up. I know you shouldn’t use the premium chains in plastic piping but it would do.

      @penetratorblockeddrains  3 ปีที่แล้ว +12

      The nozzle I use cuts a hole through 4x4 fence post as I’ve tested it at home. The nozzle is fine. It was just unlucky it got stuck coming back for some reason. It felt like the roots tangled heavily around the nozzle then got stuck in the section I had to cut first. Once the nozzle was back out did you see how easy it cut the roots then! Those roots where like pieces of bone! Even the drain addict gets nozzles stuck. It it happens clearing drains.

    Don't you know assumption is the mother of all stuff ups? :) Also, sometime less is more, maybe should have started with a small penetrator nozzle and save you the hassle of getting the big one stuck. And for those outside of Australia that are shocked by the toad in the pipe, it's OK, it was a Cane toad and they are a invasive pest. It's sort of an unwritten rule that it's every Aussies duty to dispose of Cane Toads if we encounter them, the Penetrator was just doing his bit for Australia. Thank you, Penetrator. :)

      @penetratorblockeddrains  3 ปีที่แล้ว +6

      Thank you 😊
      Yes the nozzle will get stuck from time to time.
      Those roots where hard like bone and I’m not sure a little penetrator would of got them. But next time it won’t hurt trying :)
      I’ve also went and bought an extension for the lance gun as I feel that would of also got the nozzle out.

    You have mastered the art of letting the nozzle do its job. Slamming and ramming is not always the answer. Super job as always. Also have you considered having your jetter supplier build you a high pressure "Y" for cases like this, where you could have both reels connected and easily run one or the other without needing to go back to the trailer? Time = $$$$. Simple male quick coupler into a "Y" with 2 short-length hoses and female couplers on them. You maintain control of the reel you choose with its own ball valve. It would mean 2 trips to the trailer not 6 or 8...just a thought.

    Hi I have an idea for a nozzle that hopefully wouldn’t tend to get stuck, maybe someone has already done it but basically it consists of a penetrator nozel with a ring around it that’s free to rotate with 4 holes drilled in it 45 degrees back (to provide thrust) and 45 degrees from right angles (to rotate the ring and act as a root cutter) I do not know if there would be enough flow to create the pressure needed but feel free to try it.
