Our week at Cerro Gordo was hands down one of the best weeks of my life. The magic in that town is palpable and there’s no better person in this world to care for that town than Brent 💯💯
The original American Hotel burning down was tragic but opened the door for both yourself HeavyD and Brent to both be written into Cerro Gordo’s history
Definitely entered my thoughts only his contributions will be so much better on record than any caretaker of the past via hours of video and 1 million viewers memories as well.
Brent, I'm in love with your channel. I'm 73 and on Hospice at Home and on oxygen and your Videos Pass my days with PASSION AND ENJOYMENT. I PRETTY MUCH SIT and Watch All Day. EVERY DAY. Darryl
Knightmare50, yea! Like some of the towns more colorful characters “come to life” on a little stage / some kind of fundraising could happen/ like a live feed fundraiser or the like
Brent, I noticed there wasn’t a single Ad during this video. I think I speak for the majority when I say I’m totally cool with watching a few 30 seconds clips if it helps you and Cerro Gordo. You are doing an incredible job, always look forward to your content!!
I am a painting and decorating contractor specializing in decorative finishes. I had the honor of helping restore Los Encinos Historical State Park original rancho damaged by the Northridge earthquake. I also had the opportunity of helping restore the exterior of the Egyptian Theater in Hollywood and would love to come help you! I love your passion Brent! The Mine is great. I am glad Dave shares your excitement. Glad your concrete pour went well after all the efforts put into it!
I am 66 years old, I would love to come help but physically can't do it anymore. I have camp cooked for crews, I also quilt & crochet and knit, I'd love to make patchwork quilts, afghans, etc like they had in those days for when the hotel opens.
The hotel was built on June 15th, burned down on June 15th, and the reconstruction has started on June 15th. This would make an incredible story or movie. History is incredible.
Can you please go visit?! The way he walks through some of these mines TERRIFIES me. All I can think of is you every single time I watch a video. You’d be able to tell him which shafts were safe and how to repair the ones that aren’t. I’m horrified at the idea that he might make a fatal mistake.
@@baconator_shorts6211 he doesn’t know anything about mining and some of his moves seem very careless. Nothing wrong with a professional miner coming in and giving guidance at all.
I know it's seems so weird. But this channel has been such a boost to my mental health. Just watching someone pursue their passion, tied in with nature and history, and to show such love and appreciation for it; it's just so wholesome. It's made me seek out my own moments of awe in nature. To explore, adventure. Seeing you finally get the American Hotel underway actually brought a tear to my eye as silly as that sounds. Someday I hope I can visit!
There are a couple of companies out there that make drones that map mines with LIDAR. Ring 'em up and ask if they'd like some free testing grounds in exchange for a copy of any maps they make.
@Captain I mean, why though? There's no shame in providing companies use of space in exchange for a product? The barter system like that existed for thousands of years, not everything needs to be done with cash.
@Captain Testing in real life is worth more than the money almost. being able to test in various environments, types of mines and materials. He also has old maps and info on some of these mines so their is also reference data to compare acuracy etc.
I just got done with the book and had to come back here to watch the video. There’s a lot of good nuggets in the book that I will use in my life, as I am going thru some heavy changes right now. One day I will visit Cerro Gordo and hopefully stay in one of the rooms and enjoy the view!
I hope that every year after the hotel is rebuilt you have a massive festival on June 15th to celebrate Cerro Gordo and not just the history that was there but the history that there has yet to be made. "The New American Festival". I have a feeling it wont be a ghost town for long. This channel is reviving life in Cerro Gordo from goats, to cats, llamas, and soon more and more friends and families will want to visit and stay here. Keep up all that you are doing and you might have to change the name of this channel to just Living.
i hope it always remains a GHOST TOWN !!! and that feel and everything about it... just a POPULATED GHOST TOWN!!! :) where people dance with the spirts and party with the ghosts!!! :) eh... it's all good! :) AS LONG AS EVERYTHING DOING GOOD!! :)
Jonathan soko how do ya think it’s a scam? He’s rebuilt a few other buildings. If heavy d didn’t help he would have spent a small fortune just to get concrete poured which he’s been working on for months. It will get rebuilt and you’ll eat your words watch.
Thank you Bret for the inspiration you gave us since you started with you videos 15 months ago, we(my wife, younger son and I) started a project in the mountains of Baja California, The rebuilding of a ranch, the Coyote Blues Ranch, transformed and old bar and corral into a western type cantina, and old adobe shed into a work shop, a stone abandoned shack into a nice guest room, instaled a Windseeker and solar paneles, painted and laid concrete as needed, run water pipes and eléctrical wiring, clean and clean lots of wild brush.. we encountered heavy rains, snow, great, wind, wild fires and plácid nigths... Made over 100 trips from desert land to mountain levels and still going, much of your philosophy is taken as an input to keep going on our project as well... The pandemia was not as bad for as as for others, being away from crowds was a relief up in our place Muchas gracias for all amigo.
This is exactly what I've been thinking too. The map that Brent has, all probably hasn't been accessed yet and thered be so much more that was never recorded. I truly wish this town becomes an 1850s style revived tourist attraction and may those mines be made safe enough for tourists to go in and explore.
It makes you realize just how easy we have it nowadays! The amount of blood and sweat that was required before modern machinery made people true men, that's for sure.
Brent, if I wasn't 84 years old, I'd be along side you to help! I hope my small contribution to Go Fund Me helped in some small way. Congratulations to you and all the people who came to help. Your work at Cerro Gordo is a positive page in a book of negative chapters about America. If I'm still here when the American Hotel is finished and open for visitors, I'll make a reservation to stay, no matter the cost! Again, my congratulations to you and to all all the people who came to help. You and everyone who came to help are an inspiration to everyone who watches this channel and HeavyDSparks channel too!
When Brent speaks about people that are genuine and honest and generous, he doesn't realise that he attracts these people because it is so easy to believe in him and what he wants to do. He IS Cerro Gordo. To see someone like Dave, who shares so much excitement and energy as Brent for this place was an absolute joy.
Like attracts like, and Brent himself is a living embodiment of those same traits, so it naturally follows that others who share the same traits will be drawn to help him out.
I remember when the fire happened and sobbed with you. You couldn't even speak to the camera. It was heartbreaking to hear you explain how the fire happened. I thought that would have extinguished your flame from wanting to restore Cerro Gordo. Take a look and here we are. Congratulations. There is amazing working being done on camera but the real work is being done off camera. The little moments of victory are the ones that mean the most. This rebuild is one of those moments. Glad that I got to be a part of this. Keep up the hard work.
Let’s me honest here, this man is living nothing but the American dream with all of the risks and falls, he bought his dream town and is not rebuilding his town, where this man has witnessed and gone through most things that most of us would never ever go through, I applaud this man and know deep down as long as he keeps working towards his dream this town will be finished and tens of thousands will revive it
Brent, in a way you're the Mr. Rogers of TH-cam! You have such a genuine, earnest love of your project it's contagious! You've gone through hardship and stress and yet your nature is ever loveable and inspiring while remaining relatable. You teach self-motivation, self-sufficiency, love of nature, appreciation of history, while also celebrating the power of friendship and cooperation. You embody the purity of the American Dream. All my love and admiration, PLEASE keep it up!!!
People can live lifetimes, and never run into true friends like Dave Sparks. Some people meet them, and never know, because they are out to get what they can, and miss what was truly, the treasure all along. A big shout out to Dave, and his team. Cerro Gordo needs a flag of it's own, the build begins. You go Brent, happy days are here.
Hey, here's an idea: For the remaining original structures, because they're mostly made of wood, try to treat them with some fire retardant. Also, have a fire truck on standby. Maybe one of those old ones that's been restored.
I first started watching a guy climbing and crawling thru caves and wasn't interested in it, at least I thought I wasn't, Im hooked and love it. His history stories of the area and philosophy on things is more than absorbing. Wishing you and Cerro Gordo the best.
I could not agree more... I worry for his safety some times but his enthusiasm is infectious. but he is a smart and thoughtful guy and it's great to see people come help and be part of it...this is by far one of my favorite channels.
'That Guy' got me from the 1st episode, so long ago. I was on the edge my seat with the cave expeditions! I actually felt sick watching but had to see it until the end. This town is eventually going to be even better than it was so many yrs ago. Its a place Id love to visit but sadly never will now, due to age and health problems. At least I can still watch the going ons from the comfort of my house! Keep up the good work. Uve earned all the help you are now getting! 💞
OMG, I never thought I'd like watching a show about boring "guy" stuff. I've become addicted too! I'm watching and learning about mines, how they helped shape the USA 🇺🇸 etc. Now I'm even enjoying watching @HeavyDSparks and the fellas haul stuff, cliff jump and I'm paying attention to cars etc lol 😆 all because Brent bought a ghost town💖
When some of the cabins and other buildings get rebuilt, they need to be named after Heavy D and his Crew in honor of their contributions in helping jumpstart the rebuilding of Cerro Gorrdo.
@@gw8278 obviously they had something worked out. But it was in their both interest as it is publicity for their channels along with footage! That was alot of fuel just to get the fleet to the bottom of the mountain... let alone bring everything up to Cerro Gordo
@@ryanscott2548 yea, a really huge effort that Brent saw that was beyond him. Do a deal, get it built...all out in front of us. I don't care about the deal specs. They wouldn't ever disclose. Just be good to each other for the cause
I have been watching you since the beginning, and I've been waiting for the cement to get delivered. I'm a grandmother and not sure why I got hooked on this. I'm sure your passion is part of the reason. I do have to say I have been concerned about all the projects you have told us about and how you were going to do all of them basically alone. I recently tuned into your channel and saw how much weight you have lost. I am so glad you are getting all this support. You have some valuable guys there. You deserve it. But just remember your health is number one and the American Hotel and the town of Cerro Gordo are number two.
I noticed the same thing Brent! You need to take care of yourself as well! I truly wish I could come help if I was closer! Perhaps once the Hotel is up, people can come stay and help!!! Awesome job you and several others have been doing! I keep looking out for new vids .
@@Kafj302 Would be fun, BUT: Imagine Americans (who are the "Florida men" of the world) learning that this text means "Just go in and take a shit" and use that knowledge somewhere else, in the mines f.e. OR maybe they sue him for not providing suitable toilets in a hotel.
Brent, I don't know what is possessing you, but I think your enthusiasm and perseverance is infectious. I do believe you are going to will this town into existence again.

Been keeping up from the Philippines, this gives my hopeless depressed life a little light. Go for your dreams! Someday I will stay at the American Hotel in God's will. 🇵🇭

Heavy Ds energy is insane. I dont think he stops smiling... His smile and presence makes me smile and feel good. Crazy to feel that through my Computer monitor. Genuine guy is an understatment. Great jobs, guys!
Love this man. He’s gotta be one of the most humble human beings ever. His joy and enthusiasm is infectious I smile every time when I’m about to watch his videos. But I must admit I cringe every time he goes down into one of the mines until I realized we wouldn’t be seeing the video of him go down them if he hadn’t come safely back up and out of them!
It's amazing what the sheer tenacity of a single individual can accomplish when they really set their mind to a goal. In the face of all adversity, in the face of nay sayers and people that think there's no point in restoring what is lost, Brent demonstrates whats possible by just keeping to it and being persistent. Huge thanks to Brent for being an inspiration to us all and thanks to heavy d for being such a critical link in the future of Cerro Gordo.
You've gotta take a photo of everyone that came to help, and hang it up in the hotel with a plaque featuring their names and the date of the rebuild start. ♥️
Im french and I just discovered this channel and the incredible work that you guys are doing, the charity that is being given, this gives hope in the human being
Brent: while we all want to thank heavy sparks for this Herculean effort, YOU need to be credited for your answer ing, laser like devotion to getting this phase completed. Soooo, CONGRATULATIONS and WELL DONE to you, too, Brent! Like everyone else, I can't wait to see the competed hotel in the very near future!
I hope someone eventually makes a movie or television series about Cerro Gordo. There is so much history and so much that would be great fodder for plot and subplot lines.
The best thing is that Brent is doing exactly that without a corporate overlord editing and directing something into a produced garbage product. This is real life. Another TH-cam channel helps out and again doesn't need corporate help. Of course Google is paying them but not paying someone to butcher the content.
Heavy D and his guys all seem so amazing! Watching his Cerro Gordo series has been awesome. They are just as fearless, curious, and excited as Brent is when it comes to Cerro Gordo. I am so glad that such genuinely good souls got to cross paths. I can't wait to see everything unfold!! Will Heavy D get to name an entrance into the New Town mine, or get a plaque in the American Hotel? Lol.
So glad you and Heavy D teamed up. You should really follow his advice and get a 5 ton for the town. Maybe outfit it with a water tote or 2 and a pump in case of fire? Im sure Dave would be able to find one and look it over for you at his shop before you bring it to the town.
Right! Of all the junk on History, Discovery and those channels you would think this would be better prime time. But then again they would sensationally ruin it.
Please look into Bernadette Banner if you are into Brent's content! Very similar vibes though slightly different ways of going about history and living life with it.
@@marialindell9874 I mean if one is into historical garments and fashion, sure. She does very little outside of that. That being said, Bernadette Banner is a bad bitch & I love her.
It's crazy to think that when it first burnt down you weren't even sure if you'd ever get enough to rebuild it with your go-fund-me page and now your channel has grown to the point where you didn't even need the go-fund-me. Pretty soon the channel will be so big you can rebuild the entire town to it's prime!
Go watch all the HeavyD videos guys and help them out. Unbelievable what they are doing and in such a short time. It is the pump Brent needed so badly!
This is really special. My great-great grandparents, great-grandparents, and grandma traveled around mining in towns like this throughout Arizona and New Mexico. My father even was a miner until his retirement. I think it's awesome that you're restoring and sharing this history. I know it wasn't an easy life for these people.
@mvphigh my first reaction here was to get mad and tell you to screw yourself, but I wanted just to let you something. I am asking for help, you're absolutely right, but please don't make the mistake of thinking I'm trying to get ahead. I AM JUST ASKING TO BE TREATED NORMALLY AND, JUST MAYBE, BE TREATED LIKE I'M A HUMAN, NOT A RETARD. if you can't see that, then you are the problem, not me. Because no one will help unless I ask. (and, in my case, so many, just like you, turn away even then)
@mvphigh I've done 1000's (literally 1000's) of hours of volunteering during my decades of unemployment. Now, when I ask for hand up, I'm told I'm being selfish? I think you're the one who needs to grow up, my friend.
@mvphigh in fact you've proven my point. None of these would spit on me if I was on fire. They "help" because there's something in it for them. More subs, more views, more milking the system. I don't ask for help. Every single time I've ever asked anyone for help, I been nothing but shat on. So, yeah, screw you, and the high fucking horse you rode in on.
I'm from Cornwall UK and I I'm definitely staying at this hotel. I love this channel and Brent. And what a good man Dave is. You have over 1 million subscribers that is also an amazing accomplishment. So that means you've got at least 1 million guests that want to stay already.
As an Electrician and knowing what could happen I would like to see that whole town rewired and brought up to code so that doesn't happen again. I've been wanting since day one literally every video I support you and what you're doing 100% thanks for the vid
Maybe you could offer a hand? Seeing as you are already supporting ol' Brent here, you can maybe work in a break for yourself, visit Brent, and give a hand by way of your expertise? Just saying......
Andries, we don't know where the electrician lives. He could live in New Zealand. It's not exactly an hour's flight away. And the electrical code is different in both countries!
Prediction : 10 to 25 years from now this will be a legit small town again full of artists, creators, adventures and inspired people. Great content and dream 👍
Possibly; but the biggest obstacle still remains - where to get potable water? Go back and take a look at the several-mile-long pipeline that used to bring water to the town, for a brief time over 100 years ago (you can roughly trace its path along the mountain ridge). Could that ever be done again, assuming that there was water available at a nearby spring? The pool of water several hundred feet down inside the mine (as seen on several previous videos) is not a viable water source from what I can tell, even if they were able to put in multiple pumps to elevate it up out of there at more than a trickle that comes out at the hoist house now.
@@redmondjp The one thing I do believe in is the power of community ! In 5 years from now he should be anywhere from 7 to 10 million subscribers. With that comes more funding, more channels helping him more people donating more people wanted to see success. I believe in people, I work at Tesla so finding ways is what we do. There is always a way - that town isn't the planet Mars. The water problem is simple thinking you have to run pipe up and around mountains is two centuries ago thinking. The mountain has a spring in the mine and new equipment, cleaning up to be run and be effective is not hard. He just had people that couldn't think outside the box. I bet if there lives where on the line they could make it work. In this case they just wanted to get paid. People that say it cant be done, should not interrupt those who are doing it. Anything is possible humans can do anything we want if we work together.
@@WeylandLabs I admire your optimism there Weyland, but you need to understand what the limitations of reality are. A dank pool of water 800 feet deep in a mine is not necessarily a spring, nor potable. How many gallons per hour can it supply, and for how long (and what is the arsenic level as well as heavy metals)? How many decades did it take for that water to accumulate there? Did you read the history of Cerro Gordo? How many gallons per day did they require, all either supplied by the short-lived pipe from the spring, or hauled up there by horses and later by truck? By power of the community, do you mean hundreds of people walking up Cerro Gordo road every day, each with a 100 pound canvas water bag on their back? You can have positive thoughts and all the optimism in the world, but you can't change geology nor the laws of physics (not to mention the governmental and environmental regulations that didn't apply when all of that was originally built). And requiring each hotel guest to show up with 250 gallons of water each probably won't fly either. There is a darn good reason why many areas in the Western US don't have any people living in them. Lack of water is one of the big ones. I'm probably a bit older than you and have watched endeavors like this end up failing. Believe me, I want it to succeed as much as anybody does, I really do! In the end, it all comes down to economics. Take all of the super-cool stuff that Microsoft co-founder Paul Allen was doing, such as the living computer museum (my friend worked there to get vintage computers fully operational - a dream job for an electrical/computer engineer). Well, Paul Allen died and his sister (now largely in control of his estate) didn't share that vision, so the museum closed. There are a lot of really cool things that can be done, that don't economically pencil out. If you have a rich benefactor who funds them like Paul Allen, great. But that doesn't last forever either. My now-wife lived and worked at a historic bed and breakfast (built in 1909) for many years and I moonlighted there when they needed help. Despite it being apparently very successful, it didn't pencil out and is now operated as a for-profit adult care home (so it is no longer open to the public, sadly). I really am rooting for Brent's success, despite what you might think after reading this; I am a big history buff and love to see historic sites get preserved and enjoyed by the public. Oh - all of the historic B&Bs that my wife and I stayed at in Hawaii on our honeymoon have now reverted back to private residences, as we discovered on successive visits. Economic reality; it bites! Happy thoughts and technology can't solve all of the world's problems like so many people today have been erroneously led to believe. If Brent and his partner can't generate the necessary cash flow in order to make this hotel project a go, how long will it remain open? How do you pay the electricity bill in the 7-8 months of the year that you aren't turning a profit? How do you keep your staff in the off-season? But the big question still remains: from where cometh the water? Everybody want to take a shower. Have a nice day, and may your optimism be tempered by reality. Oh, for my day job I support remote radar sites that sit at similar elevations all over the Western US. Some of them have 10,000 gallon water tanks on site. Hmmm . . .
@@redmondjp There is a lot to unravel here, let me start by correcting my verbiage of spring vs well. I apologize when I am in a hurry the way I tend to think gets distorted a bit. I agree it will take a lot of time and effort to see that place come together. Not just from him but from others and the community he has started and that we both are apart of. There are a lot of questions that needs to be answered for that well to be relevant there. Understandably speaking if we are talking about 100% off the grid then he still has a lot of options he needs to assess. Access to water - electricity - internet - waste, pretty much a closed loop infustructure that should last forever I'm my opinion. The road ahead is long for him, but its just not his dream its over 1 million of his subscribers dreams who I believe in including you. And I mean power of community of donating and helping raise the funds to get the talent and the inspired people that wants this to succeed. 1+ mil people if 10% donated and few bucks that can buy a lot of talented people to help the water problem. Because running a pipeline up to the mountain could cost 20+ million and that's a lot of donations. So that well has to be the source somehow, and if not so - looking to see if there can be a paved road then we can always build a huge water tower. The thing is sir, times are changing I believe in the good of humanity and the best times are yet to come. I am an optimist I do have doubts about things, but our doubts didn't get us to were we are in time. Different thinking and a different way of doing things brought us here. Humans evolved 300k years ago, and 6k to 20k years ago civilizations started popping up. And just 142 years ago electricity was invented, our progress in less than 150 years - 2 life times, have been more than 4918 lifetimes accumulated from 300k. Humanities progress is godly today, in just under 200 years we are finally starting the transitioning away from fossil fuels. Now I get the whole Paul Allen thing but lets be honest some people are in the right place at the right time when luck meets opportunity. And preserving what matters most in our life needs to be assessed all the time. For me that's making an impact on our planet and going what I can to inspire other to be the best versions of them. We are not talking about forever but when some speaks your name for the last time that's when I die. We have lost focus of what actually matters in life. And that's our future not only our children but others children also and there children. How can we leave a world to the people we love in such bad shape ? I think you have seen a lot, I think you probably even been through more. There's no doubt life has its up's and downs, but it makes us who we are. We can be angry at the world or see all the joy life gives us. We just lived through COVID 2020 I'm pretty happy I'm alive today. My last statement : Technology can and will save us from us, our human savagery nature is slowly going away. Our thoughts, emotions, sadness happiness is all a pattern of code now. This is hard to explain but quantum A.I has been around while. And you can see human behavior vary where it goes with what it controls. But our savagery is hard wired into us based on genetics from being a hunter gatherers 300k years ago. We are just a species on one planet of trillions of planets in solar systems nothing makes us special yet. We haven't earned the right to be more yet. We still kill each other based on skin tone, beliefs, greed, power and just pure ignorance. We dont deserve nothing ! Not yet ...no that's what our children have to figure out and there's etc etc until we become better. Until we unite as one and work together to truly be free in a universe of unlimited possibilities.
I’ve never wanted to hug someone as much as I did when you posted the video about the American Hotel burning down. But the previous owner was absolutely right. This was meant to happen. I agree, trees and water and electricity and porches and trails and, and ect. Can not wait, quietly, for the town to be finished. What other services will be offered? You have a museum. The hotel. Food? Trails? Library? Bathroom/showers? A smallish store? A book with pictures 📷 of the old timers and the newbies? Lots of rocking chairs facing West? Petting farm? A small garden that reuses the gray water and those trees? A sort of paved road and bus service from the nearest town? Souvenirs? Gee, what fun to see this town come to fruition. Thank you.

Brent what'd you think ? Cerro Gordo festival ?
The pandemia was not as bad for as as for others, being away from crowds was a relief up in our place

The amount of physical labor to carve those tunnels is unfathomable.
I was thinking that, also. How many men, how many hours, and how much was dynamited? The amount of labor is staggering.✌🏻🐱
You should get D back for more cave stuff, his energy is infectious.
Oh man you should still be here, they'll have it up and running in no time!
Indeed.

A more of a hippie hype town
My last statement :
Technology can and will save us from us, our human savagery nature is slowly going away.
Once the Hotel is built the next episode will be Brent crying of joy for 34 minutes.
My heart fluttered when I read the title, I didn’t realize how emotionally invested I’ve become with Cerro Gordo
When they're exploring in the mine, they're just like two little boys - so excited and grinning mischeviously!
I’ve never wanted to hug someone as much as I did when you posted the video about the American Hotel burning down. But the previous owner was absolutely right. This was meant to happen. You were meant to be the one to build and create new landmarks and history for this town and, if it hadn’t happened, you may not have met Heavy D who may be able to help you get more of this town built faster than before! I’m so happy for you and the town of Cerro Gordo.
Something has to happen for great things to happen..sometimes can't understand why but just go with the flow an move on..
Three years ago I had my garage burn down with my car/ everything in it. After insurance it was rough but my and my good friends rebuilt a new one. It was a lot of pain and work, but it sure felt good to have it back. Best of luck with the hotel
Hope to visit Cerro Gordo one day. Greetings from Germany. Keep up the good work.
Very proud of you Brent. Stay safe and best of luck with everything.
And one more thing; Most people don't have it in them to chase their dream like you are. Hats off to you sir.
How can anyone dislike Cerro Gordo videos? They are made with so much love and inspiration. I always end the videos with a big smile and even more ideas for the future!
Agreed, there are so many great channels and I just can't believe when they get dislikes, these dislike people are unhappy prunes!
every video on every channel always gets some dislikes- why? idk maybe robot trolls or something. doesn't reflect on the channel at all.
I bet the thumbs down comes from somebody who’s a newbie with claustrophobic tendencies/getting spooked by the mine exploitation part of the video … & are probably thinking “ Not me!” when they hit thumbs down.
Reality TV at it's best.. compelling...exciting...every episode is an historical adventure...Bring it on......
Heavy D is such a good hearted person
I’m so happy that the American hotel is being brought back to life.
Theres no limit when a determined person has a few million dollars in their pockets, a little hard work done by volunteers and insurance fraud to save the money you made by others!
@@Yohannson Yikes, relax man. Sorry you're not living your best life. No need to be jealous.
@@babbaganush9659 lol insurance fraud is a felony bro. And it causes premiums to go up for everyone else who is an actual straight shooter.
@@Yohannson that’s a huge accusation. Why you here if you don’t have a positive message? Look towards the light, that inner darkness is a killer. Try to find some enjoyment in your day.
@@pilgrimpeace7763 i appreciate your feedback and will take it to heart and mind. Also the term accusation is incorrect, less he would be in jail. Insinuation is the proper term.
This is not a ghost town anymore! This is a historic town whith proud and happy spirits! 👍🏼😁❤
Anyone just think… “This guy bought a whole town.” Lol, good for you man!! American dream at its finest!
Yeah a hole town
Well done diesel Dave for stepping up! Seeing all these ppl stepping up to help u like this, restores my faith in that there are still loads of good. Kind ppl in worlds. Wish we were over the pond, we would enjoy helping!
I would call this “the Miracle at Cerro Gordo”
Anyone watch bleach 😈I’m finna fire off my cerro
I've watched your channel since the beginning and I have also watch heavy D's Channel I didn't realize how genuine and real he is. It brings a tear to my eye to see somebody helping out in such a big way. Could not have asked for a better partnership thank. you both are awesome. Be safe.
You are such an inspiration. Tears falling from my eyes as I listen to your determination and strong will. I’m so proud of you Brent.
So happy to hear the news of the Amazing People that are helping now! It’s so exciting! Thanks to ALL! xo 🇨🇦🐢❤️
Anyone who has loved a place so much as this man has can understand the pain he must have felt watching that beautiful building go up in flames.
To Heavy D and ALL the other people who have donated money, time and effort- from the bottom of my heart, THANKS FOR THE INCREDIBLE EFFORTS!
When I come to visit Cerro Gordo, I will bring a couple of kegs of our best home brewed beer so we can have a couple of pints to celebrate the rebirth of the American Hotel!
Absolutely right sir...
I too have stood and watched it all go up in flames* I understand his pain & passion 💜💯
ill take a keg
This mans gonna run the most badass post apocalyptic fortress I swear
The whole crew, each and everyone You Are Awesome👍👍👍
The deep sadness you expressed when you lost the hotel, is the reason I started following you. Could not be more excited for you to get it back. Stoked to be on this journey with you 💜🖤
Same! I’m really rooting for Brent!
Thank you.
