I didn't watch the whole video.... But I heard leaky master. REPLACE IMMEDIATELY - no one told me brake fluid was flammable so I didn't understand the importance. Also - Z32 master paired with CTSV brakes feels great. Very sensitive - but a ton of pedal feel.
I need to buy a 180 so you can come comment on my shizz.. Clearly the GTR and RX7's aren't cutting it :D
Yeah dude I had to overnight a z32 master! Feels much better. But my booster is slightly blown out due to not having a check valve inline with it :/ So thats next.

When you get a new booster I reccomend wrapping it in that gold foil. I ruined one from heat and learned my lesson!

Love my 4 pot ctsv on my s13! Went with z32 master and im in love with my breaking. I also used stoptech street pads all 4 sides

I have a 2012 CTS-V, and am doing rotors and pads this weekend, so I stumbled on this vid. The calipers are great, no doubt...just had to chuckle that the REAR calipers from my car are replacing the FRONT calipers on your car as an upgrade. Lot lighter car of course, but u get it.

Nice work man. The CTSV conversion is a big upgrade, no doubt. The Z32 upgrade is still half the price. I still don't have ma sticka....
What about putting your old front brakes on the rear..?
Love the vids. Have you thought of getting a different rim with a more negative offset to delete the spacers. The rims you have are badass and In my opinion keeping the color they are or gloss black would look great. For the whole race car vibe what is your thoughts on raising the rear coils a turn or 2?

You should make the calipers purple and keep the wheels silver. It would match the engine bay and would look cool in my opinion. Great video as always!!!

Yeah my brakes are real spongy after the upgrade and I have to pump it while driving before getting feel. I'm replacing with the z32 master soon

He did cut the wrong caliper then he switched to the other caliper installed
Enjoy your videos you are going places don't give up dude follow your dreams. You should put a bit of paint on the bare metal bits you grinded to protect them from rusting

what is that blue mat or carpet called and where did u get it from? would come in so much handy as I like to lay all my tools and parts out when doing work on my dsm
I think dark grey wheels would look better than black. With black you just can't see the wheel much, if you know what I mean.
Saying that, the wheels look great as they are so maybe paint matching the calipers to the body would look better.

A few people seem to be running RPF1 wheels in 17x9 et22 and the 4 piston brembos. They barely clear without a spacer according to one video.

The color of the wheels is fine... Paint them white if you want to change it up. However I think that the calipers would look MUCH better in black (with a white Brembo sticker ;) )

There's more and more cars using this swap, I wonder if that's what's driving up the price for the caliper. When I first looked up the swap it was about $70-90 for the each caliper. The Amazon link says their 150 a side
Fox you on the money rebuilders jack up prices when they have a demand on the product. one example is the svt cobra front calipers.

are you running 17 or 18 inch wheels? I want to do this swap on my S14, but im running OEM GTR R33 Wheels, 17x9 +30 and not sure if the 4 pot CTSV brakes will fit.
Eduardo España he has 17x9 +22 with a 5 mil spacer up front. I did this brake swap on my s13 and I don't think it'll clear r33 wheels.

so ive already got both my calipers , caliper hardware , steel braided line , now i just need the mounting bracket and rotors , but the rotors link you posted in no longer in stock =/ any recommendation on where else i can buy a pair?
All you need are 350z track pack rotors 🤘🏼
ive tried typing that in for the track pack rotors . but how can i verify theyre infact for the track pack and not just the base model rotors? if you could send me a link for rotors ill give you a discount on a clutch when yours goes out lol

Why Cadillac breaks and not the z32? I have the z32 and also the master cylinder and works so good but haven't try them with bigger rims. Stick 15 locks the tire and it makes me fish tail sometimes
