i know, but still. i think every car guy said that at least once. "this is going to be the family car/daily driver/spouse's car, i'll just leave it stock" then end up modifying it in some way
Sir your style / channel makes me happy. You , ChrisFix and Sccoty Kilmer are the best car guys with the best attitude and respect to your audience. God Bless you all and I wish you grow more on TH-cam.Big fan from Saudi Arabia
Just so anyone knows. Only use flare nut wrenches when doing brake line nuts. Normal wrenches will round them out every time! Replacing a brake line is no fun!
You forgot to get the shim/grease kit for the pads. Most likely your brakes are going to squeal like craazy. Also it’s easier to install the pads, pins clips etc into the caliper first and then mounting the whole caliper on the car on the rotor
I don't expect any improvement in braking distance with 4 piston caliper vs one, so I am glad you are doing before/ after stopping comparison. The expected improvement should be less brake fade with continuous use, such as driving down a long steep grade with a heavy load, or hi speed racing with heavy brake use. That is because the stock brakes already supply sufficient braking force to lock the wheels and skid the tires. The anti-lock brake feature steps in at that point to decrease the brake force to prevent tire skidding (skidding is kinetic friction, while non skid braking is static friction, and non skid braking will always stop you sooner because the coefficient of static friction is higher than sliding (skidding) friction.. verified in any basic physics book). The 4 piston brakes will easily supply sufficient force to lock the wheels, but the anti-lock brake feature will step in to decrease the braking force, thus preventing tire skidding to provide the minimum stopping distance the tires will allow, same as the stock brakes.
Kim Stockdale probably gonna be 5-10 ft longer 60-0. More rotating mass from the bigger rotors and needs to push more fluid with the 4 piston rotors(pedal has to travel further). 2 piece rotors and a larger master cylinder help.
Acturally, I'm just wondering that whether the standard main brake fluid pump could produce enough pressure to make these new 4 piston brakes working perfectly. Or else you might have to upgrade the main pump as well...
Great Video! You should inform the viewers that actually upgrade their brakes based on your recommendation, to opt for the steel calipers if they intend to track their car. The Aluminum Calipers are lighter yes, but once they get heat soaked (2 laps max), the confidence they once had will be instantly transformed into paralyzing fear when they've pushed through the entire braking zone (probably some track traffic & a track official) and crashed straight into the barrier or concrete wall. Hairpin turns, especially ones that follow high speed straightaways are NOT where you want to find out that you have no brakes. I recommend that you save your weight elsewhere and save your life too! Go steel if you track your car, Aluminum for street cruising only. Keep up the great content though!
Where can I find drilled and slotted rotors for not $160. O'reillys has two solid rotors for $72. I'm not racing. Daily driving and drifting. I feel like i wouldn't heat the brakes up that much. Awesome video and item layout in the description!
What about the other side? Is the red 'O' in Nismo at the bottom? I ordered stickers for my Acura TSX, wanted to do a similar job, but the stickers are not mirrored, meaning it's the 'Ac' in Acura at the bottom on the driver side and the 'Ar' on the passenger side, I absolutely hate it and I never applied those stickers. One needs to be mirrored I believe, so both can start with the same lettering on the bottom. It's like the lettered OEM brakes do, everything else looks fake.
Marcus Aurelius Antoninus Augustus but then it wouldn’t say “Acura” on one side? It would say “Aruca”? No factory brake has the logo spelled backwards just to mirror the other side
Have you tried to see if the ABS system can cooperate with the new brakes? Not that i have ABS on but just askin'. Merry christmas and keep doing what you are doing, there were times that you had 13k subscribers, and its actually nice to see that unlike other youtubers that got big recently you havent changed a bit, killing it mate!
Good video, there is a little mistake in the description tho. Both links say Drive Side Caliper. On the other hand everyone buying those after going through your video should know whats what anyway cause of the bleeding screws.
Does the rotor brand crucial? I go to the link you provided and the price is very affordable compare to get one in Malaysia where OEM rotor for mini cost 4X the price. Planning to upgrade my stock rotor to ventilated type
milanmastracci I think he is referring to the Vehicle Safety Bar, a marketing term by a Malaysian company called Ultra Racing. Those Safety bars are just beefier aftermarket sway bars, strut bracing, adjustable panhard rods and other bracing to help stiffen a car up. Mighty Car Mods used a chassis brace and other Ultra Racing products in their MX-5 video if you wanted to see how they look like.
Quick question for the break link are they supposed screw in all the way in for the caliper end and the part that links up to the cars solid break line?
If you have the aftermarket line attached to the caliper will it fit onto the hardline because it's not the stock line it's an aftermarket. I think its just me. Btw great video
It turns out they're the same size as the standard size bolts from the slider caliper. I was under the impression they were different. I bought new ones anyways so I wouldn't be dealing with the 20 year old bolts
Do u make enough money from youtube to not work a job on the side? Please make a video going over income for a auyomotive youtube channel as successful as yours has become. Please and thank you brotha. Its been my dream only to do the same in the z32 scene
"I'm going to leave my 240 stock"
true… but all his mods are reversable and improvements. not like hes widebodying it and cutting fenders etc
i know, but still. i think every car guy said that at least once. "this is going to be the family car/daily driver/spouse's car, i'll just leave it stock" then end up modifying it in some way
I've never said that in my life
Ikr they cant resist in modifting it. Shit would be worth so much
Said everyone till they see a sr20det

Very, very true!!
@@milanmastracci Hey could we get some updated links? Some of the are dead.

except the old brakes are old outdated models. I'd bet your balls that he removed 25ft off his stopping distance.
Acturally, I'm just wondering that whether the standard main brake fluid pump could produce enough pressure to make these new 4 piston brakes working perfectly. Or else you might have to upgrade the main pump as well...
You should start the lug nuts by hand first

Did you ever do a brake test comparison?
How come lots of people choose to run the z32 drums and pads with rotors combo instead of just this
Where’s the comparison video? Stopping distance?
Where can I find drilled and slotted rotors for not $160. O'reillys has two solid rotors for $72. I'm not racing. Daily driving and drifting. I feel like i wouldn't heat the brakes up that much. Awesome video and item layout in the description!
What about the rear brakes?
awesome, just what I was looking for. Do you by any chance have a video guide for rear brake upgrade?
Sweet build the nismo logos look awesome
Hi bro, all nissan car are the same brake caliper? Can I put these caliper to nissan rouge? Thanks
Wish u painted the middle Hub of your rotors black
Great job man. I love watching how everything is done. Even though I have an srt neon I still like to see how other cars are setup

The P2M rotor says 12" not 11". Is P2M at fault or do they stop making 11" Z32 front rotors.
awesome job on those brakes love your efforts Milan ... Merry Christmas !!!
High Performance upgrade with DOT3 Fluid? Why not just pour in tea?
Have you tried to see if the ABS system can cooperate with the new brakes? Not that i have ABS on but just askin'. Merry christmas and keep doing what you are doing, there were times that you had 13k subscribers, and its actually nice to see that unlike other youtubers that got big recently you havent changed a bit, killing it mate!
Do I have to change the brake master?
Can you do a video to properly clean the throttle body both types electronic and the old ones??? Thanks man you are 🔥🔥🔥
How much would the rotor and caliper run for the front and rear
Good video, there is a little mistake in the description tho. Both links say Drive Side Caliper.
On the other hand everyone buying those after going through your video should know whats what anyway cause of the bleeding screws.
Great video! Merry Christmas to you and your family best wishes! 🎉
How do you bed the brakes? Which method do you prefer?
You give up on the mini, Or broke trying? not being a ass, just wanted to find out if I should mode my clubman s.
Does the rotor brand crucial? I go to the link you provided and the price is very affordable compare to get one in Malaysia where OEM rotor for mini cost 4X the price. Planning to upgrade my stock rotor to ventilated type
Nice bbk setup with the LMGT4's!
Thanks buddy!! I can't wait for the snow to go away and actually see how much of a difference there is in performance :)
milanmastracci you’ll love the 4 pot! I have stock akebono bbk on my ‘14 q60s and they work so good. Really thinking of doing SS brake lines now 😎
If want ask . Safety bar need or not ?? Because I love cornering
What is a safety bar?
milanmastracci I think he is referring to the Vehicle Safety Bar, a marketing term by a Malaysian company called Ultra Racing. Those Safety bars are just beefier aftermarket sway bars, strut bracing, adjustable panhard rods and other bracing to help stiffen a car up. Love your videos man! Always so detailed 👌
Thanks man!! I appreciate it 😊
Quick question for the break link are they supposed screw in all the way in for the caliper end and the part that links up to the cars solid break line?
Is this upgrade only for your specific car?
I'd go 6pot front and 4pot rear
Hey mate. Did you change the brake lines and pump to 300 lined and pump or 240sx stock?
I'm using a z32 full caliper conversión in My S13 but, in front i use a 13 inches rotor
That's pretty good! I had the same size rotor along with an adapter that I was going to use for an upgrade, but ended up selling the car.
Great vid Milan, have a great Christmas too mate ☃️☃️☃️☃️👍👍👍👍
If you have the aftermarket line attached to the caliper will it fit onto the hardline because it's not the stock line it's an aftermarket. I think its just me. Btw great video
What about the rear?
How much was this ?
I dont have a 240 but my car has rotors on the front and drums on the back. Could i get the front set up and put it on the back? From the same car?
Well i have a 95 saturn thats y i was asking if i can just take the front set up from the same car and replace the drums with discs
Can you see the best bang for the buck for a Honda Civic 02’ Si calibers?
Check out Acura RL calipers
milanmastracci What year?
Nice video Milan but I would really like to see the bleeding (love the nismo stickers on the calipers )
Can I put this on my Nissan Altima s 2012
would these brakes work for a 04 g35 with the non-brembos?
What size are the bolts to mount the caliper to the knuckle??
It turns out they're the same size as the standard size bolts from the slider caliper. I was under the impression they were different. I bought new ones anyways so I wouldn't be dealing with the 20 year old bolts
what about break pomp?
R33 calipers are pretty good aswell depending on where you live
What happened to the gti?
She have cleaned and done a paint job behind the disc to protect from rust
MERRY CHRISTMAS to your Family
Put some tyre shine on, your tyres look very matt and old
Bit Fire tire shine is bad for your tires, read into it.
Pretty sure tire shine isn't bad; how much you put on and where matters more
Hey milan Merry Christmas!!!
hey can that four piston brake kit be added to my
2009 Kia Spectra?
Well done mate. :)
Shared and liked your video
300zed, Canadians. But awesome informational video
says Z32 then goes “300 zedd x”
lol
You should change that silver cap, it doesn't look good, nice brakes though.
I wanted to vinyl wrap it black so it would match the wheels, but forgot to do it when I removed the wheels. I'll 100% do that though :)
Sorry but it won't stop any faster. Might even take longer by a few feet.
What it will do is get rid of brake fade.
One way to find out :)
The two different nismo logos really clash.
I literally JUST noticed that now...
Who teach you all you know?🤙
Do u make enough money from youtube to not work a job on the side? Please make a video going over income for a auyomotive youtube channel as successful as yours has become. Please and thank you brotha. Its been my dream only to do the same in the z32 scene
It's not a spindle...its call knuckle.. and it's not a carrier it's called brake caliper.. omg
Fall in love
Wrong. This is not the "ultimate" big brake kit for the S chassis.
🔥
Nice
Hy bro u are better than chris fix
First comment😊
60 FPS looks stupid imo unless there’s a lot of onscreen action then wtf u doing
Does this work with the 4 lug rotors that come on the s13 oem?
Yes it will!
milanmastracci whaaaat crazyy can you please do a videos on doing this process? if you have anytime to do so it would be very helpful.
