If you don't put vents in those lower panels the doors will be extra hard to shut properly , you are blocking the vents on the bottom of the door , if you notice there is also vents on the latch side that's how air gets out to shut without slamming the door several times

Why’d you use a head liner material then the fabric why not just use the fabric?
