Wow. This instruction was so thorough and filled with excellent 101 advise that is critical in baking. I’ve had to search and save so many video tutorials just to gather/learn this information when it’s all covered here. Not to mention the video was at a fantastic pace for me; slightly slower seems better generally. Thank you for all the great info Tracy!!

This video taught me so much. I tried baking cookies since 7th grade, now I'm a high schooler and still have no clue how. I watched tutorials videos in my native language and they did not tell me any of these tricks. Now I know why my cookies were so tough and HARD. Thanks, I subscribed!

I used 1/2 cup sugar and replaced half of the flour with some quinoa flour and a mixture of seed meals (pumpkin, flax, sunflower) … the dough was quite sticky and I only managed to get some more complex shapes after I refrigerated for about 30 minutes … but … they are Yummy and the texture is just perfect .. buttery with a little bite to it ❤️❤️❤️

I love the detailed instructions via video and via print. The cookies were easy to make, easy to cut out and baked very pretty; however, they seemed to be dry with no real taste. I have baked cakes and cookies for years, so I know how to measure the ingredients, the flour, I measure the same way. I will try this recipe again in a few weeks---just getting over Covid, so it may be my taste issues.

Here in the UK we WEIGH the flour; cups are a little imprecise, since your flour could be more or less dense. If you were to weigh each cup you scoop I guarantee no two would weigh the same. (It's not often I think we do something better!! 😊)

Btw, think this recipe could be used with those little press out cookie cutters? I was told you just push the dough into them, then push the knob on top and they come out with pre-made shape and design. Not ever used them, so excited to see1
