I didn't invest my first 1000. I used it as a cash cushion so I didn't need to use emergency loans or credit cards. I know it is boring but money that stops you from having to borrow at 20% interest returns 20% in my mind.

It's what I would do if I had enough money to get a mortgage, no way I'd ever get a loan if I had to pay for it myself, that would just be giving money to the bank out of my own pocket and who wants that? @@3rdfriend same here! LOTS of different interests. But I feel like it's more complicated in the realm of "what do I want to do with my life?" and "what is my calling and job going to be?" rather than in investing. In investing you're more limited... In a good way. Because you need capital to be able to invest. So I for example am interested in property's and sustainable housing and development aswell but as a broke college student that's simply not available for me at the moment so I focus on things more in my reach like etfs and precious metals. And later I will be able to spread out more. It's also making your finances more stable because of diversity. So even though I'm lost on the career side it helps me on the financial side of things. Also maybe look into multipotentialites it did help me see that I don't have to choose one thing and focus on that forever - so many people I look up to actually have expertise in many different areas. It's still complicated and confusing but that thought helps. Hope I could give another perspective ^^

Two things people should learn about in my opinion: 1) learn how compound interest works, absolutely anyone can be a millionaire with the power of compound interest, given enough time. The damage is done by shear lack of care on the mining companies part. separating gold in any size of yardage with mercury is the "best" for returns... but the absolute worst for anything it touches. Water and gravity do just as good of a job, its more time consuming so more lost profit in labour and time. But only damage is the landscape that's just screened. Mercury kills everything it touches.

It's called survival bias. For everyone who worked their ass off and succeeded, a million worked their ass off and failed. Ultimately success comes down to luck. Being born at the right place and time, being in the right place at the right time, meeting the right people at the right time, having Tue right idea at the right time. Hard work, and even intelligence, is just a small part of what it takes to be rich.

The greatest takeaway for me was the idea of investing in something you're interested in. I bought several houses, they went up greatly in value, but i still lost a lot of money on them eventually, because I JUST WASN'T INTERESTED enough to really pay attention to what was going on. I was a grasshopper, not an ant, but, as it turned out, a lucky grasshopper. Thankfully, my wife and i both are happy living small, so our income (Social Security (in the U.S.)) is plenty for us to be comfortable and happy; i learned when i was in my early 20's that there was a lot of stuff i just didn't need, so i could use my money for things i really wanted to do, like not working, and this serves me well still. This was a great video, as part of me has always thought about ways to build income, but rarely took the initiative to actually do it. Now i'm almost 80 and still think about it, because i consider the possibility that Social Security may go away in a few decades (i want to live way beyond that), though i expect something might take its place. I figure it's never too late to start.

I sincerely appreciate the work you've done and the knowledge you share. Technical analysis can be helpful, but I think It is quite puzzling that well-known cryptocurrency TH-camrs just pay attention to pure T.A and entirely ignore the bigger narrative of why BTC is inflating and why the outlook for the future is even more encouraging than it seems. Ignoring the reality that each ETF launch to this point has caused a sizable decline from BTC highs is somewhat dangerous. We were already in a perilous position and only survived a protracted bear market due to historically low volume and nearly whale pumps. Day trading should be given greater consideration because it is less affected by the market's situation. trading daily with LIBERTONCORP I have earned over $ 12BTC using his insights and charts. Sorelle, if you ever feel you need to get your hands dirty, I highly suggest a trip to Taos New Mexico. It's absolutely magical there. You can meet the crew behind the wonderful earthships and help them build one. They do humanitarian builds around the world too. Great way to meet awesome people, learn about earthships, work up a sweat and build up a few callouses 😉
    Thanks for another great vid.

The principle is to put aside portion of your income to invest before you pay anybody else (bills, companies and etc). So, you will have money for self-education, seminars and courses like you are talking about.

Not financial advice. A Canadian stock, FFN, (North American Financial 15 Split Corp) gives 18%-20% annual yield. The dividend is .1133CA per month per share. $1000 divided by current price of ffn, $7.43, gives you 134 shares (don't forget the broker fees). 134 X .1133 is $15.1822CA. Put that on DRIP, direct reinvestment plan and every month it will buy you more shares of ffn without fees. FFN does have a management fee but it is low. Do your own study on it though. I do own ffn and make divs off it monthly. just trying to help.

To answer your question - what is the biggest lessons - to invest in education and find something you are passionate about. Good advice, makes me feel so much better about all the money I have spent on educational courses - and now I see the mistake I made was trying to learn things that didn't really inspire me. I wasn't passionate about them. They were a means to an end and it didn't work for me. I'm pretty excited about crypto though! And yes, I have started my education about it - it helps when you see results quick! Thank you so much for putting these videos out, so helpful. I feel like Robert Kiyosaki has great advice for RE but talking about metals is a joke. I say that having doubled my money off of them but I'm well aware that's very very very rare and it took a few years plus you lose money selling them to a person willing to buy. I quadrupled off of stocks in a year where commissions fees are super low now. With that being said, invest in low cost index funds. You don't need to research, do it systematically every month, force yourself to do it for a 5 year span minimum and you'll be happy you did (especially now that the mkt is on sale!)
