Hidden away in the Record Department of the sprawling Ministry of Truth, Winston Smith skilfully rewrites the past to suit the needs of the Party. Capaldi is, hands-down, the best book narrator I have ever heard. I highly recommend you check out his reading of 'Watership Down', if you haven't heard it already!

If you like Peter's voice, listen to "Watership Down" I lost count how many voices he does. He is a real storyteller and you forget that it is only one man that is reading it.

I always thought Peter Capaldi was a bit bit a knob but this was pretty good. Rather restricted variety of tone though

I believe this book is supposed to contain a lack of varietal within tone considering the material? And this isn't acting or even voice acting really, it's simply reading.

I honestly like Jodi Whitaker but Chris Chibnall is shit at writing anything resembling a good story. He's very hit or miss, and mostly miss.
