    Wonderful machine. Fresh mulch, knocks down everything in its path. GOD BLESS THE USA

    Every time I see what a forestry mulcher can do I'm impressed. It's just amazing to see all that brush and even big trees just chewed up and turned into some pretty decent mulch right on the spot.

    I have a contract with the USDA, Conservation Stewardship Program, it requires dead standing trees and logs on the ground to be 10" DBH left in the woodlot. A video like this is great for ideas on how to go about getting the job done.

    That fence reminds me that my neighbor used to bush hog fields. Once he did a new field and the owner assured him it was clean. He set out and on the first pass he noticed something moving off to the side. Turns out it was a fence post and by the time he got the PTO off he had sucked up about 100 ft of barbed wire. That was a mess to untangle let me tell you.
    The new machines are nice to operate but the sensors and wires are going to be more and more of a headache as they get older.

    • @UpstateBrushControl
      @UpstateBrushControl  4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Love the Husky saws we have 3 stihl saws that sit in the shop. We all will grab the Husky before the stihl. Those saws will RIP

    • @seanhazelwood3311
      @seanhazelwood3311 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Actually, All of the new saws break down too much, so take your pick on that part. Huskies are good for softer woods and small diameter because they're high rpm/low torque. Stihls have more torque and are better for hardwoods and large diameter. There's a reason most timber cutters run Stihls.
