我用smartone儲值卡 as well , no problem receiving sms anywhere in the world. cheapest way to keep a hk phone number. better use an old phone to keep this card as its more convenient to make a reply from your other phone. iphone bought outside hk and china can hold 1 nano sim and 1 eSIM. i bought my iphone 11 in hk which can hold 2 physical sim cards but i find it a bit inconvenient to use, thats why i use 2 separate phone !
Signal app can replace Whatsapp. They function the same except Signal is much more safer, so I was being told. Friends with Whatsapp can text to my Signal app with no problem. When I use the " Message app" I need to make it as my default messaging app. I have a Samsung mobile.

Onkei多謝你欣賞。SMS text message方面：只要個台/個plan support,海外係可以收到sms嘅。至於call forward 係唔會用forward嘅，因為對方會變成IDD call，我只會forward去在港家人或好友代接留下訊息，或請對方用WhatsApp call找我。現在全球一體化，好多銀行同電訊公司客服都肯打IDD俾客人，所以不妨留多個海手外電話比銀行（等公司）做個人聯絡電話。

香港好多野冇錯係好方便，但在澳洲好多時好似呢d 要同商業機構溝通真係澳洲方便好多。可能係澳洲人layback 文化有關。轉電話，轉上網，轉電力公司真係一個電話或上網就ok, 喺電話度好多都有商有量唔似香港乜都按本子辦事

iPhone 平好👈🏼小心多數都係有 carrier lock，轉第二個台用唔到，買時要留意。
今集真係好有用,其實我都煩緊呢樣野,香港iPhone 12係插兩張電話卡.
根據LUCK SIM 的FB公告，在2021年的貼文表示，尚未有網上辧理轉台服務。另外自由鳥可以網上轉台/開號，不過月費稍貴，預繳3個月就有50/70 元PLAN。

真係唔知好事定壞事.....
除咗個 plan之外, 轉用 lucky sim 要留意佢公司背景, 因為啲MVNO可以話執就執, 雖然lucky sim都run咗好幾年, 但係屬於私人公司, Birdie 係SmarTone附屬公司, SmarTone又上市, 大家睇到佢條數, 應該比較穩陣。如果用咗間蚊型MVNO, 又執咗笠, 到時人又喺澳洲, 咁就難攪。申利：我都係用緊Birdie😎
多謝你，很好的提醒🤗；其實我哋經歷了連中移動咁大嘅公司的mysim card都係話cut就cut, 多番輾轉先搞番掂張電話卡，我哋都已經豁出去了，兵來將擋、水來土掩，見招拆招😄
但Birdie的缺點是在香港以外國家收不到sms, 問過birdie客服佢話暫時未能提供海外sms服務。
