Do not recommend to install a central inverter, it is hard to monitor and to troubleshoot the problem. I built a 3000 sq ft zero energy home in Ma, we installed the solar panels with Enphase micro inverters, which mean each panel has their own WiFi micro inverter, they provide us a app to monitor the solar system, it will monitor each monitor operating condition and its production, even one solar panel is damaged or shaped by a tree, the micro converted solar system is still functioning, since they connected to the power panel in parallel, not in series. www.solarreviews.com/content/images/blog/16058988372296346815583731386731.jpg
I paid 28000 dollars for the solar system about five year ago , I paid 500/year for my electric bill for a 3000 sq ft super insulated, R 32 on the wall and R 64 in the attic, my home have three central air systems. plus 600/year for my gas bill, but my utility company pay me back 2000 a years as solar credit rebate, basically it is net zero home, I do not pay for the gas and electric at all, in addition, I received 50% of 28000 dollars as income tax credit. Solar system is a great system, just be sure the followings: Condition of the existing roof. Roof space to accommodate enough solar panels. Directions of the sun, for US, solar panels facing south are the best location Remove any tall mature trees may effect the performance of your solar system Install micro inverters for your solar panels for easy monitor and troubleshooting, do not install the central string inverter. Since string inverters require solar panels to be wired in series, if one solar panel's output is affected, the entire series of solar panels is affected in equal measure. Assume you have 30 solar panels, if one of the solar panel covered with snow or with leaves, then your entire solar system will not be functioning properly and the system outputs will be downgraded. 上年Queensland 政府有津貼安裝電池補貼$3000, 同時免息貸款。裝Tesla 電要$12,000. 自己要先俾$3000，另外$6000分20年還款，每月還$50. 我上年四月裝咗，到今年都未俾過電費，晚上可以放縱地開冷氣，我非常滿意裝咗個電池。不過我沒有你咁細緻計條數，所以不知道慳咗幾多。
Brisbane 我住的一區及一些地區，一間屋有兩個電表，其中一個特別給電水煲用，所收的電費會比正常電費低。但太陽能電不能接落電水煲的電表，是違法的。
另外，你的房屋保險包不包太陽能板，因為在Queensland 的夏天好多時會有冰雹，cairns會有颱風，可能會打爛個太陽能。建議你去查詢一下你的保險代理。

其實大停電嘅時候亦一齊冇電因為太陽能生產落嚟嘅電會直接輸到電網然之後你係用電網嘅電所以停電你都一齊停電

要睇小型到咩程度，要入電網就煩好多，未必得。玩露營嗰啲就無大問題，呢度好多款式有得賣。另外還要考慮運輸，電池頗有限制。

我想問下你們夏天是否超熱？ 幾多度？ 出街行是否好伸苦？ 冬天最冷一般多少度？ 另外， 有冇紫外線太強唔出街的問題？謝謝
Cairns 一年或者有三幾日有heat wave，38至42度。因濕度比香港低不覺得太悶熱。出街就辛苦啲，通常會留在室內，行行商場。在家都會全日開冷氣，有太陽能電費會平啲。
Cairns 的冬天氣溫較涼，濕度較低，平均氣溫約為攝氏17.5至26度；不過今年天氣有點反常，試過最凍只有10度
如果停電，可唔可以單靠太陽能系統發電應付日常用途？
我的系統不能在停電時提供電力，但有電池的系統可以，聽說有些甚至可以不連接電網。

Queensland 大概一年有283日的sunshine ，其他省份的sunshine day 比queensland 小。所以queensland 叫sunshine state。在NSW 用大陽能生產電相對可能會比較小。
