It depends on what you have I have one for sale with the M10 suspension and the front end kit completely rebuilt bored 30 over mine is a 94 depending on the nickel sell First cast iron
It depends what you do to the sleds I have a 94 completely gone through the motor boarded 30 over has the cast iron original sleeves runs like a rape date I had a hundred 50 psi this thing really rips depending on the gaskets you put in put in the cylinder heads each cylinder cost for more caskets on the top half there's no need for that if you run a single gasket on each one compression ratio is amazing little harder to pull over that's why they design I need cylinder to run each cylinder with one 2 two three gaskets I need cylinder it makes a big difference on the compression for performance
nothing beats the yamaha triple sound. not a fan of the way polaris tries sounded at all. not saying the 800s werent fast or talking crap... but sound wise eehhh
FrankieJames7 it's nothing to do with the chassis 96-98 have different pipes than the older storms they've got more hp from nicasil cylinders digital ignition & they're jetted different & springs and weighs are also different plus they're all around better sleds delta v force reeds really wake them up I ride a 96
@@dwalmop2 my father had a 600 he called it the flying plywood. He was just trying to tell me that they were animals of sleds. Looking back at it I'm not even sure why I said that he just heard the noise of yours and wanted to inform me
The44445544 actually it does just that. The 95 engine was physically the same as the 96+ once the updates were done. When they went to aggressive chassis it gave more room for bigger pipes to.let the engine breathe more. The only other difference was the stator and ignition box. The CDI had a different timing curve in it to work with the better pipes.
Can't beat the sound of a big bore triple...can't beat the looks of the 90's to early 2000's sled either...everything out there today is FUGLY no matter the brand.
Great video! I love that old sled, brings back many memories!
Back when snowmobiles were bad ass looking and sounded sweet! Not like today's stuff.
Thanks. It's sold now though since a couple of years. This is actually in Sweden.
love the old triples!
I have a 93 750....they sound so sweet and scarry fast!! Better have a frim grip when you gun it!
Love the sound of some old 3s

Nickel sell? Do you mean nikasil?
if stock, your wrong storm in wedge chassis doesnt have 150hp, agressive chassis (96-98) have 146hp.
94 storm 138hp
95 storm 132hp
The44445544 you're right

150 psi on the compression
Back when you didn't have to wear a mask in a shopping mall
i need one of these engines on a mini bike badly
Grew up with a guy who put one on a small gokart, thing was stupid crazy fast. Almost died driving it lol
Nice setup
Listen to the 1997 ski doo mach 1 700 triple with a dyno port can. That sounds really good
Affirmed where are you getting a 1997 mach 1 from, its a Polaris indy storm 800.
@@ericmacnichol3791 im saying the 97 mach 1 with dyno port can sounds good. Not saying thats a mach 1
Trying to sell a 94 Indy storm having a tough time selling it
How much
STILL TRYING?
The Fuji motor is made in Japan not USA
I have a 800 storm for sale still runs good
its actually updates from year model to the engine...mainly VES
FrankieJames7 storms don't have ves
Sorry but mountain max 700 triples sounds way better, in my biased opinion
Srx with power valves is better

think I have a video of one of my old redhead yamahas on my youtube. mbrp can. obnoxious.
Beauty
im pretty sure its the gearing and the horsepower that the track puts out...no chassis is going to affect the horsepower...

96-98 have nicasil cylinder, different intake and exhaust port, cylinder head, cdi ........
2 seater on an 800 triple that will do in excess of 115 mph or more? What the hell were they thinking....?
Lol for real though
then thats a different engine design...i thought he was talking about the same engine just put into a different chassis will change the HP
you had a nice sled and how was it on full i just got a 1994 storm
devin ralf 94's are junk get a 96-98 much better ride more hp as well
Ive got a 94 polaris storm 800 if anybody has any good trades ect
My father is listening to the sound. He says they are not fuel efficient
You don't buy them for fuel economy!

96 to 98 don't have the same engine than the 95 and least... i know the chassis don't give engine hp...

You are a lier that storm only has130 hp 96-98 have 150hp
no 1993 750 have 135 94 140 95 142.......
You need liek a half a mile of hard pack to actually hit 100 cause you over spin like crazy
Not comparable to a vmax4 , even with orginal pipes bro, but nice retro
🤦♂️
For one it's slow, and two my buddy's F7 FireCat sounds way better, and is much faster.
bullshit...
The 583 raves sound better
Haha fk troll
are you sick...??? nothing beat polaris sled sound
