I ordered the Boog because the wooting 80he and the Keychron Q1 HE (the other HE keyboards I was interested in) are months away from being shipped and I needed something now. The build and the sound of it is constantly praised so I'm looking forward to it but there are some things I wish It had that wooting does, like support for having keys mimic analog stick sensitivity so I could walk in single player games with the key lightly pressed. A knob would have been nice for volume like on the keychron but not really necessary, keychron has wireless support as well but also not something I completely need but would've been nice to have. There's also no risers on the board to change the angle if you need to (the wooting will have interchangeable silicone feet to change the angle). I'm not even sure if I could have a key have 2 functions depending if I bottom it out or tap it lightly with the Boog web client (the wooting has that customizability with the software I believe). If you just care about rapid trigger then the boog is better since its built so much better while cheaper and to get a metal case with the 80he it costs like ~$300. If the wooting shipped now, I would probably grab it over the boog since there's more options I can do with the Hall effect switches but that's just me.
Ok Boardzy, I usually agree with quite a lot of what you say, but the comment that the BOOG 75 is just not going to perform at the same level as the Wooting, is anecdotal. You said it yourself, it “feels” faster, like you are on a lower ping. That is subjective at best and outright deceiving at worst. If you have empirical data to back up those statements, then provide it, if not, you need to caveat your comments with noting that this is your experience with the keyboard and as always, your mileage may very. I really like my wooting, and it plays great in game, but I can find no discernible difference in perfomance between the BOOG 75 and my Wooting. The only thing I will say, the smaller Wooting is more comfortable to play with, but sacrifices keys outside of gaming. I am willing to use the BOOG 75 daily so I don’t have to lose the keys, or switch between keyboards all the time. Thanks for all you do and all the reviews you give to us!

I sold my wooting 60he with tofu case after I got the boog. Meletrix did have one firmware update on the board to address the inconsistency of its RT function and incorrect key mapping. How you managed to emit 60 metric tons of pure yappium within 7 minutes and 23 seconds is beyond me. The Boog75 uses the same GTech PCBA and Gateron switches as the boards you “disliked” in your other video. Probably the same stabilizers, switch plate and dampening material too. The “build quality” of nearly all those boards is objectively better than Wooting’s 60HE is (case material(s) and switches). Wooting objectively has better firmware, features, warranty and keycaps. Also, how in the world did you manage to get your 60HE to rattle more than it does stock?
I mention the pcb and never said this performs better than the boards from the other video. You are wrong about the components of the boog75 compared to other HE boards but you havent tried it and there is a price difference so w/e. I also don't know where I said wooting isn't still the best features/performance wise. Are you european by chance?
@@boardzy I said you “disliked” the other boards, not that you said “the Boog75 performs better”. I am right about most of its components being identical to the other boards as I’ve seen it disassembled. I’ve also tried the ATK75, 68 and other made up keyboards that don’t even exist. I stated the pros and cons of both Wooting’s HE boards and others. I wouldn’t have specified “metric” if I wasn’t. I’m saying that yapping away doesn’t do anyone any good especially when you can just stick to mice. 👺
Boog75 is actually based. The new QK65 HE will probably also be on par for specs/sound and feel, so pick your poison form factor wise. I see the lil teaser of the Akari underneath. Excited for your thoughts. Hopefully before the sale happens.
i have no issue gaming on my non wooting keyboard. no fast trigger keys or anything like that. 1k polling, works just fine. fast and light mice make sense, since you move them, but keyboards as long as they feel nice to type on and the signal gets to the computer in a timely matter, nothing else matters when it comes to gaming.
I have a zoom75 and a gmk67. The zoom75 (basically this) costs me fully built around 350€. the gmk67 fully build 57€💀 and i managed to make it sound better than the meletrix product lmao. TLDR: Good keyboard but overpriced.
But do u need it? Pros in cs2 still use shit Logitech or any other gaming keyboards. So i take a better build, sounding keyboard to a way cheaper price 😊✌️
Well that’s where the topic of preference comes in. Of course you don’t need a high performing keyboard or a good sounding keyboard, but don’t go around demoralizing people for their preference in having a Wooting for performance over having a keyboard that can thock.
You are right. Its just insane how price it is just for a rapid trigger 😅 Wooting need to make one with rapid trigger in a aluminium case that sound good for that price
I LITERALLY JUST ORDERED THIS IN WHITE 2 WEEKS AGO. Ok so saying it's NOT better than Wootings is highly misleading, it has better sound (has a deep thocky OEM sound out of box), better PCB structure (accepts HE or standard mechanical switches), better stabilizers, better OEM keys, comes full aluminum, has perfect weighted balance and key press feel, and finally this has the new Gateron KS-37B switches Vs the 20 series found in the Wootings and Keychron Q1 HE. Did I mention the software is PURE web based for the Meletrix (you do NOT have to download garbage software and the web based is GOOOOOOOOOOOOD). So it's like 9.99/10 for Meletrix while my Wootings 60HE is like 8/10 for me. You have to invest another $180 - $250 just to get it on par with the BOOG75. I had to buy a $180 aluminum case and buy $40 in plates and foam mods just make my wootings sound and feel -almost- as good as the BOOG75. On-lookers can remain skeptical, but if you held the BOOG75 or a ZOOM75 in your hand and typed on it, you would know what I am talking about. Meletrix builds quality keyboards.

@@yhiz4757 explain how their marketing is predatory. Also nobody is going out of their way to tell wooting owners there is a better alternative. Wooting owners dont own all facets of the internet.
Anywhere another rapid trigger keyboard is discussed, wooting fanboys will scream saying "WOOTING KEYBOARDS ARE INCOMPARABLE TO ANYTHING ELSE, ITS NOT EVEN CLOSE!!!"
This thing looks like a “gaming keyboard.” My 6 year old cousin is very interested in
I went with keychron q1 he for a few reasons 1 its wireless somtimes i game in bed on big tv and need the keybaord for certain stuff alongnwith wireless mouse and i wanted the knob for volume control besides that id have got a wooting 80he and waited just wish it was wirless
can you review drunkdeer a75?
That board sucks bro. Plenty of reviews on it, by far the worst feeling HE keyboard I have tried.
Yeah I mean its just okay for the price I got sent the pro version, will make a video if people are interested
@@boardzyyes, please make a review about that keyboard maybe compare it to wooting? i know that wooting its better but, i want to see ur perspective. thanks bro
@@boardzyi kinda wanna hear your thoughts. Build quality and performance to price. I know pretty much all the wooting clones use the same OEM of PCB, but based on my understanding drunkdeer does release regular firmware updates to tune its performance.
camera dying 💀
Wooting sound sucks
As i know you love reviewing keyboards, you should try the gateron magnetic jade switches lmao, they are light and feel so much nicer than lekkers, also lower bottom out, honestly for fps id love even lower bottom out, but 3.5mm is better than 4mm at least
Wow,sounds so much better!
Calling your product the "Boog" given the times we live in is wild.
You should try drag clicking again:3 and also review wooting 80he
I sold my wooting 60he with tofu case after I got the boog. Meletrix did have one firmware update on the board to address the inconsistency of its RT function and incorrect key mapping. Performance wise it’s definitely serviceable, the solution was similar to that of the VGN ATK75, so I wasn’t expecting it to perform as good as a wooting or a rakka.
sounds good but I will wait for 80HE
Explosion 💥
please try the redragon m61 it has 8k polling rate with magnetic switches also and it only cost 40$ in my country but dont know how it compares to wooting and expensive counterparts
I heard from another reviewer stubbyfps that its the worst HE board on the market, I probably wont check it out given I've never once had a good experience with a redragon product.
Keyboardzy (shocking)
The sound of that keyboard is very good but i don't like the vision of the rgb..... and doesn't have the same performance of wooting..... someone says also there isn't assistence lol.....i'm trying another keyboard recently ...melgek cyber01....is very great ...139$ with case aluminum ,it's a 75% and has 8k polling rate .....I like also the style cyber punk.....and despite i live in Europe i didn't pay customs.......thoughts i usually prefer 60 or 65% like size in gaming ...i can't wait for my wooting
I like your typing style. You can obv turn RGB off if you dont like it, hadnt heard about the cyber01 but it does sound good considering specs/8k
@@boardzy thank u very much :).thoughts my grammatar still sucks xD but i'm studying to arrive at b2 level......yes of melgek cyber01 for now I am satisfied also the software is good enough .....i like also the sound and the rgb with trasparent keycaps is amazing
Are you sure about the 8k polling rate? Their website says 1k. I'm not sure about the aluminum case and the 75% isn't exactly 75%.
@@stefunofficial6274yes the site say 75%..if I remember correctly it was written in the images 8000hz.........in the images there is written easily outperform mechanical keyboards with 8000hz refresh rate with ultra-precise seettings
@@stefunofficial6274 hi in their site there is written 75% new layout with 83 keys......about polling rate .....there is written in one image always in their site 8000hz...i don't know 'cause in description they have written 1k.....also of wooting 60he there is written 1k polling rate......but many peoples say it has 8k.......and the case there is written cnc aluminum
Hey Boardzy, what mic do you use?
electrovoice re20, been using it for a few years now
Try DrunkDeer A75, it's like cheaper than this.
boog
time to wait for geonworks
swag
230$ 😂 bro , we are broke to buy something like that , i mean there is really good kayboard with better preformence.
Mines on the way 💀
The gtech oem HE keyboards with the closest performance to wooting are probably drunkdeers stuff and the vgn/vxe atk68/atk75 (same brand behind the vxe r1 pro). They have their own firmware so are basically ahead of the competition by quite a bit, atk has the best performance overall though vs the oem boards. U have a drunkdeer keyboard in a box tho, might as well unbox it and give it a go
I would be curious to see the Boog75's numbers in regard to latency. Meletrix is a solid company so I would expect good firmware
@@gregm1855they are using gtech firmware, not their own.
Rip end key
Drunkdeer A75 > other overpriced HE Keyboards
How you managed to emit 60 metric tons of pure yappium within 7 minutes and 23 seconds is beyond me.
The Boog75 uses the same GTech PCBA and Gateron switches as the boards you “disliked” in your other video. Probably the same stabilizers, switch plate and dampening material too. The “build quality” of nearly all those boards is objectively better than Wooting’s 60HE is (case material(s) and switches). Wooting objectively has better firmware, features, warranty and keycaps. Also, how in the world did you manage to get your 60HE to rattle more than it does stock?
Alu case probably amplifies acoustic flaws when compared to the OG plastic one.
Hopefully before the sale happens.
ew 60%ish where tf is my numpad (ಠ_ʖಠ)⌐■-■
i have no issue gaming on my non wooting keyboard. no fast trigger keys or anything like that. 1k polling, works just fine. fast and light mice make sense, since you move them, but keyboards as long as they feel nice to type on and the signal gets to the computer in a timely matter, nothing else matters when it comes to gaming.
Damn your Wooting keyboard sounds awful..
Truth hurts
I have a zoom75 and a gmk67. The zoom75 (basically this) costs me fully built around 350€. the gmk67 fully build 57€💀 and i managed to make it sound better than the meletrix product lmao. TLDR: Good keyboard but overpriced.
Sounding better is a subjective but if it sounds better to you then thats all that matters
bro can you recomend me a mouspad for minecraft 1.8 pvp stuff, that´s available in europe I literrally don´t have any preferences R.I.P💀
Overpriced as F.
Words of a pleb.
hi
Sad u give so much money for a wooting and its sounds so bad 😂 u can buy a 100$ keyboard that sounds way better
People don't buy a Wooting for the sound, but mostly for the rapid trigger and performance...
Find a $100 keyboard that feels as responsive
But do u need it? Pros in cs2 still use shit Logitech or any other gaming keyboards.
So i take a better build, sounding keyboard to a way cheaper price 😊✌️
Well that’s where the topic of preference comes in. Of course you don’t need a high performing keyboard or a good sounding keyboard, but don’t go around demoralizing people for their preference in having a Wooting for performance over having a keyboard that can thock.
You are right. Its just insane how price it is just for a rapid trigger 😅
Wooting need to make one with rapid trigger in a aluminium case that sound good for that price
$230 bro
Sadly wooting still the performance king
why sadly? its kinda insane tbh
@@bo0t3r29 bc its still the only option if you want a performance board.
Performance difference is negligible at best, really how much ms can you notice? 20-30 ms difference, how important is that really?
@@arrabona916 milliseconds add up and it might not be better by a lot but it still is better
@@arrabona916 I'm p sure it's 2ms of latency for Wooting and 7ms for the boog75. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

Lier! 😡 Not A Mouse!
Wooooooo
Are you okay? It loses out to wooting performance wise. Thats all I said, and its not misleading at all
@@boardzybro really needed to justify his purchase
you're a big boy Ryan, I'm sure you can spend your money without a stranger's approval.
so u bought this shit and u got mad because people dont want to cope with u? Yes its 2 years newer than wooting and somehow they made it worse. They should make ads about 2 years of fucking up everything they could.
