Awesome video! I'm also working as a VA, and like Dan, I'm grateful for all the opportunities given to us. However, paying someone 3 dollars an hour is something I find undesirable. While the cost of living here in the Philippines is indeed lower compared to the United States, things outside your basic needs cost the same if not more expensive. The rent in Manila varies, but $60 a month allocated for monthly rent is probably a studio unit located in a depressed area. I'm renting a 1 bedroom apartment for $200 a month and my monthly utilities range between $80-100. Obviously, I'm not speaking for everybody, but imagine paying someone in Manila for $500 a month. Yes, you can live with that but just visualize yourself having a $200 monthly savings. That amount won't buy you a decent home, put your kids to a decent school or buy good things outside of your basic needs. It just means you are surviving and not living decently.

I hope your VAs do have an increase after months and even years of working for you. 3$ per hour is pretty good for a starter but not really for someone who is experienced.

Personally, I am saving, learning and planning to do Amazon business again after my initial failure during my college at Amazon. My advice to you next time you talk to him through speech is to speak alot more slower and clearly instead of talking to him like he speaks fluently.... he tries alot harder to dissect every little thing u say so if u make it more simple instead of saying whatever is on your mind you two will definitely vibe more and u will experience a calmer side of him. Just remember to put urself in adrian's shoes bc I'm sure he will agree. He just doesnt correct you bc that would be rude in their culture. So remember he WILL APPRECIATE you speaking slower and clearer.
I dont see a problem with travis speaking fast. We understand him clearly, especially american accent easily. Its just that not everyone is a speaker. But listening to english is not hard at all.
60 dollars in manila last 2019 rent is a bedspace maybe sharing with 5 or more people in one room. That time i pay a small unit good for 2 for 200 dollars.
Travis you are so inspiring! How do you trust your VA with such sensitive company information? Is there any point in creating an NDA with a VA out of the US? How can you protected so that you know your VA will not leak any company information i.e secret formulations etc?
Can anyone answer me this question. Why wouldn't some VA's do things on their own thing? Like for something with low investment like drop shipping or product sourcing?

3USD? Yes it is difficult to find a job in Philippines but you are based in the US and I’m sure you are aware of the VA rate. You don’t have to pay the same rate as US VA but 3USD is taking advantage. Sorry no other words.
Don't do that. Fil VAs are generally honest but you don't know you run into bad apples. There are calamity loans, housing loans from Sss and there is Philhealth for unforseen emergencies. Help them acquire loans from those credible organizations.. Don't give loan yourself..

I wish I was in manila if it's that much cheap. I could hire a VA from Philippines, although I am living in Pakistan. And I never worked lower than $6 per hour with shared clients service. I have a house with rent of $450 and electricity is like $180 Gas and water like $30. Internet is like $25. I have 2 kids and there monthly diapers and milk is like $175 per month. Grocery is not there yet. How could someone live with $3 per hour??? Also I have $80 Car gas. Damn man. @travis Dan might be living low life Believe me.

Don't take advantage of those people coz looks like your VA is genuine person. So, value them. Give them extra credit as well for their job and how they treat you nice.

My advice to you next time you talk to him through speech is to speak alot more slower and clearly instead of talking to him like he speaks fluently.... he tries alot harder to dissect every little thing u say so if u make it more simple instead of saying whatever is on your mind you two will definitely vibe more and u will experience a calmer side of him. Just remember to put urself in adrian's shoes bc I'm sure he will agree. He just doesnt correct you bc that would be rude in their culture. So remember he WILL APPRECIATE you speaking slower and clearer.
I dont see a problem with travis speaking fast. We understand him clearly, especially american accent easily. Its just that not everyone is a speaker. But listening to english is not hard at all.

3USD? Yes it is difficult to find a job in Philippines but you are based in the US and I’m sure you are aware of the VA rate. You don’t have to pay the same rate as US VA but 3USD is taking advantage. Sorry no other words.

Don't do that. Fil VAs are generally honest but you don't know you run into bad apples. There are calamity loans, housing loans from Sss and there is Philhealth for unforseen emergencies. Help them acquire loans from those credible organizations.. Don't give loan yourself..

I wish I was in manila if it's that much cheap. I could hire a VA from Philippines, although I am living in Pakistan. And I never worked lower than $6 per hour with shared clients service. I have a house with rent of $450 and electricity is like $180 Gas and water like $30. Internet is like $25. I have 2 kids and there monthly diapers and milk is like $175 per month. Grocery is not there yet. How could someone live with $3 per hour???
Also I have $80 Car gas. Damn man. @travis Dan might be living low life Believe me.
