I'd love to see you mod the SF4 Hori EX 2. Most videos of it are old and low quality. I'm sure you woud do a great job with it. Also, you could add a phreakmods link to make it even more portable. Hahn Deathspark has a couple of videos modding the Ex 2 with great results. Happy 4th. Be safe out there, brother.
@AllAboutTKK great video this is awesome. My favorite stick that I currently own in the Madcatz TE2+! What are you top 3 FightSticks of all time if you had to choose?
1. Vewlix 2. Green Goblin 3. MAS. I’m blessed to literally own all of the sticks that I feel are goat. During the fall this year, many months away I will be going on a huge buying spree for sticks, but I am also looking to compete in fighting games going forward.
I love those MAS sticks. 😍Those convex IL buttons are exactly my style. I like the actuation feedback they provide, and tend to go very light on them by comparison. Though I've been known to occasionally work in a slap or two. 😁
I never even seen tbat model Hori SFIV stick, I guess I was into the Mad Catz at the time SE would’ve been the closest to that. But that one looks like the DOA and Soul Caliber sticks back in the day I had, I sold those off ages ago but they served me well for the time….. man me and you have so many things in common I have a bang of sticks lol
I bought an X-men vs Streetfighter cabinet back in 2000 and replaced all the controls on that and later on I picked up one of X-Arcade's dualsticks and replaced all the parts with new iL hardware. iL is who used to supply Happ back in the day and if you want to built a stick with US style controls you want iL instead of Happ as Happ has a new supplier these days. Later On I picked up two of the SF4 TE1 sticks, a Qanba Dragon, and two custom built sticks for Neo-Geo using iL parts again with the idea of using those for more old-school arcade games than the more modern sticks. The X-arcade doesn't come out too often simply due to how huge it is. When I was revamping the US/European sticks I took some time to look at the best of what I could find out there for them. There's a lot of good parts out there for them but they're catered more toward the old school retro gaming and arcade cabinet crowd than the Japanese and Korean parts are. That said I tried out every button I could get my hands on at the time and including several leaf switch options. If you're ever looking to replace the buttons on the MAS sticks (And forgive me it's hard to tell which buttons you have on there but they look like concave ones.) the favorites I found were iL competition convex buttons paired with Groovy Game Gear's microleaf switches. They're basically combining a smaller Zippy brand switch that has a lever over the contact button, similar to how the Happ Super 8 worked, with an adapter bracket so it'll fit in the iL Buttons. For sticks your choice is pretty much just the iL Eurostick which you probably already have in there, it's easy to identify with it's white square actuator on the underside of the lever. The old Happ Super 8 is not a terrible stick by any means but it has no feedback so it feels the same through the entire circle and it's hard to precisely hit corners on it. For anything other than fighting games though it works pretty well. I don't know if iL ever made a version of the super8. That said even though I like having the US/European sticks in my collection if I was to pick one stick it'd be a Japanese one with Japanese parts. There is just so much aftermarket for them you can pretty much tweak them to be whatever you want. I actually just bought 7 more Dragons specifically with the intent of tweaking them into two sets of four.
@@AllAboutTKK You're welcome, thanks for listening to my old man rambling. :D I keep meaning to do a full writeup on the various sticks and buttons for western sticks but I never get around to it. There is one thing the iL stuff does better than the Japanese parts. It's a lot more friendly to wooden panels than the Sanwa stuff which is pretty exclusively meant for a steel control panel. The iL stuff you can make a stick out of 3/4" inch wood, drill some simple holes in it and it'll all work just fine. A JLF you'd have to route out the wood and that'll weaken the structure though it's not too bad if you're putting plexi overtop anyway.
I have the Qanba Dragon; the most luxurious fight stick. It's massive and I used to take it mobile with me to game night house parties. One of my friends with a wrist bracelet scratched up a bit and I said it's never leaving the house again. I use the Mad Catz the most since it's smaller and lighter, but that Qanba Dragon though!
I cried seeing how beautiful the hori hayabusa VIEWLIX and it's the all black . I seen only two people with the all black one . The hori hayabusa stick was ahead of its time . You had to have execution to use the hori hayabusa correctly . Plus the hori hayabusa button felt like semitsu buttons. This was the qanba dragon before the qanba dragon . Plus the wideness shows people u mean business .
Really really appreciative of the fact that you took a note of my comment on your previous video and made this awesome showcase of your partial collection.. (I know you've got more sticks, as I've seen'em in your other videos). but yeah... thanks a lot for taking in the feedback so positively and acting upon it so quickly. You're awesome... and needless to say, I admire your DBZ skills.... like.. woww!!! keep it goin' champ!!! A small suggestion for another video, I know you're camera guy/girl are doing this all handheld, but I would strongly suggest some close-up shots of the product, like maybe b-roll so that we the viewers could enjoy the product's closer details/designs etc.. up close and personal.. none the less, thanks a lot for keeping this awesome content flowing.
Absolutely! I’ll be sure to take those notes into consideration and will learn how to cleanly add in the b-roll, no problem. Thanks for the support. Max Luv.
I think the VICTRIX is the best stick because of the Size and shape it has you can carry it anywhere without problems, plus it has nice weight the shape allows your wrist to have a excellent comfortable position when playing, not to mention the materials use Aluminum feels super premium.
Great video, that was an awesome perspective on the viewlix, I thought they were more along the line of 300+ USD and 500+ USD pre owned even now. That hitbox review also intrigues me, is it finished? I forgot to recommend something quite demanding execution wise so you can compare Hitbox vs stick. Roll cancel stuff in CVS2 , some MVC2 infinites or FighterZ SS Goku sparking loops maybe? Any way I am very curious to see that hitbox review.
Yessir. I’ll be sure. The biggest hangup with that review is that I had some close contacts that were helping me shoot. Secondly when the stick got sent to me, it was delayed because it came overseas and when it had finally got to me, I was heavily engaged in tv content and I had no plans on putting down what was more lucrative to my channel for it, just a business choice, still, it was an obligation that I committed to and so now that I actually own it, it’s taken me some personal time to get familiar with it, all and all, it’ll be a solid review. A couple of weeks.
What do you do for a living to afford all these TVs and toys if I may ask? I feel guilty when o bought my 65” E9 in 2019 but love it. 😆 I’m saving up for a 77” next year.
@@AllAboutTKK ah come on man at 5k you can say what you do for a living. This is getting you an unsubscribe from me. I can go anywhere to find out if a TV is good. I’m not gonna come to you replying to somebody innocently asking how you can afford stuff with a condescending non-answer. Either tell that man how you make your money or tell him “I don’t want to tell you.” Don’t give him some grubby capitalist answer. Used to think you were cool. Guess you’re just another boot slurper.
The VIEWLIX literally is an attachment of the Japanese arcade stick panel . This stick is now only available in Japanese for 1000 plus . I should of got one when it came out. I agree u don't mod the VIEWLIX . I feel the same way for the dragon .
@@AllAboutTKK do you know why that is? There doesn't seem to be a video review for the Okiboard anywhere on the internet, the video would've done well.
The MAS sticks are such cool collector's pieces. They look like they were ripped straight off of a cabinet.
Bingo.
Nice. I like watching ur channel because i get content i dont get elsewhere
Thank you brother.
When is your review for Okiboard coming? You are literally the only one in TH-cam even showing it. I’m surprised it hasn’t gotten more attention.
Thanks for this video I actually subscribed for the arcade stuff.
Thank you for the support!

Great video brother!! I think I might try and grab the vewlix Arcade stick now after watching this..
Thank you sir.
HOLY SHIT THE HORI HAYABUSA VIEWLIX EDITION. THATS SO RARE AND BEAUTIFUL.
awesome video dude! love the fighting game/arcade stick videos
Thank you. I’ll be sure to keep a rotation
I can see the benefit to this device. Brings back old school days

Taking it down memory lane. I regret never buying a MAS stick back then, lol.
