@MrArandomperson12345 That's a bad situation, so I had a few thoughts what can be done about it. 1. Get yourself an Odin 2. If this is not possible: 2. Use the setup guides in this video for every other highend android smartphone you possibly own. If there is no use in this also then: 3. Just leave this guide for those it was made for and try to find a video for a device you actually own. There are options!
Bud I wanted to tell you I sold my odin 2 but still used the guide to setup my Samsung s24 ultra with backbone controller and followed this guide again. It's hands-down the best guide on TH-cam. 2nd time around I was flying through it almost as fast as you. Thanks again man I really appreciate it.
Russ, I very rarely, if ever, comment on TH-cam. But just wanted to thank you for all the effort and time you put into this. Super well organized, and well-paced - and it was very easy to follow along. Appreciate you, man!
I have all emulators loaded and configured. I want to use Daijisho but I’m having some problems. For example, when I click on PS2, it’s supposed to load AetherSX2. Instead of going directly to the ROM, it just takes me to the list of games instead, or will not load Aether at all. All of the emulators work fine by themselves so that tells me the problem is either with Daijisho. I’ve already checked the player selected to make sure those are all correct. Any ideas on how to resolve this? I see several other people of posted the same problem on Reddit, but no solution.

Russ, I'll admit, your videos are the only reason i got into retro emulation handhelds. The set up always seems super intimidating, but your walk through guides have made it ALWAYS super easy for me to understand and follow. Keep doing what you do man! You're very much appreciated
I just picked up an Odin 2 about 4 days ago and have been watching your videos related to it. This guide saved me a lot of time and effort, and I can't imagine how many times I went back to this for anything else. I rarely comment on TH-cam hence subscribe to someone's channel, but I believe you really deserve it. Thanks Russ for this awesome and well put guide! P.S Regards to

Just got the Odin 2 pro and this video plus your others is a huge reason why! My first handheld that isn't a lockdown Nintendo device or vita back in the day so I'm super excited to finally dive into the emulation scene after not really doing anything for 30+ years and figured the Odin 2 pro checked all the boxes for me with power/form factor/battery life/ build quality and it will still be a beast for a few years instead of being obsolete like many tech purchases I make so I'm super excited. It just arrived 30 minutes ago so watching this as I set everything up. I've been getting roms and bios files the past couple days and hoping these goes smoothly
I own an Odin 2 and it was already completely setup and I still watched this entire video just because I love RGC's content that much. Incredible work!
This is HANDS DOWN the BEST, and I mean THE BEST guide tutorial I have ever watched. You made it so easy for someone who is not tech-savvy whatsoever. Thank you for the hard work you put into this!
I must be an idiot because I got to the part on games and became overwhelmed. I might end up ordering an Anbernic device that has the card preinstalled with the games when you turn it on. However, I don’t like the device as much and I know the better games I want to play probably won’t run that well if at all. I wish there was someone I could just bring the Odin 2 to and pay them to set it up for me. I just know if I try this I will end up screwing something up.
Russ, you are SUCH a legend for putting this together. I’ve always loved your content, and it’s thanks to your past device walkthroughs that I already feel comfortable with many of these steps. It’s so gratifying to see a creator as dedicated and personable as you seeing the success you’ve seen recently! Well earned! Watching this takes me back to when I got my first handheld emulator (the RG350M) and discovered your channel. Your advice has proven invaluable. I look forward to using this to get the most out of my base Odin 2, which arrived just a couple of days ago.
Honestly thank you for everything you do. I got my new Odin 2 and was able to mod it, set it up completely and set up emulation station up all thanks to your videos. You are an amazing and truly helpful creator. Its truly appreciated.
Just got mine and im really looking forward to using this to help me optimize my setup process. You're the king and I appreciate all the effort you put into creating this for the community.
Thank you for this, Russ. I recently bought an Odin 2, and I'm absolutely certain I wouldn't have been able to get the most out of it without your video. Thank you so much for putting this video and online text guide together, it's really above and beyond for what I initially assumed was just another endless handheld review channel but this was tremendously detailed and you know your stuff. Been into emulation since the 90s and there are still loads of tricks and a constant flow of updates to keep up on and I'm digging into your guides playlist a ton now and finding all sorts of useful nuggets. What a treasure trove! And also thanks for having such a comprehensive review on the Odin 2 to begin with, it absolutely secured my purchase and couldn't be happier with this thing. With less and less massive strides and milestones in gaming compared to even 10 years ago when Android felt new and fresh and I'd lose my mind at getting PSX, Dreamcast, Saturn, Dolphin, etc on my phone in rapid succession, I often get cynical and tend to see all these generational leaps now as "well cool I can finally upscale that game I played 100x to 4k instead of 1080p for only $800... yay" and lost my sense of wonder but Odin 2 really does feel like a solid endgame device for me and the build quality is without compromise. Unless Xbox 360 and PS4 android emulators come to market and once optimized can't run at native res on this thing I think I'm set for life haha.
This guide is awesome! I have my Odin 2 up and ready in no time, which is great! Very well organized and perfectly explanined ... congratulations for such a great video and many many thanks for putting this all together for those who, like me, have never configured emulators in Android before

Thank you so much for this Russ! I got my Odin 2 when you posted the New Years sale and Base restock after hearing how much fun you had with it on vacation and absolutely love it! Thanks for all the great content :)
I really have no expendable income right now and don't plan on buying one but still watched the whole thing while wrapping Xmas gifts. No idea why, I just find all of this really calming to watch.
Received my Odin 2 Pro a week ago, had a bunch of stuff set up. Saw the notification that this guide was out and immediately factory reset the Odin so I could set it up Retro Game Corps style. Thanks for the guide!

Great video! Just got the Odin 2 after viewing your very informative review videos. This one is saving me a ton of fiddling and experimentation with the settings. Having also your site as written reference is quite useful. Thanks for putting so much effort in making all this clear and complete.
Thanks, Russ! Appreciate all the hard work and dedication you put in on these guides. I didn't even bother setting mine up until this was up since I knew it would be "THE" guide to use. Also picked up the blue color since it looked so good in your videos!

@ubertherapy you are most likely missing a update. In the walk thru setup. There are quite a few updates that are attached and placed. I would say go back to ps2 setup and redo it and watch each step. I'm sure it's something you missed. I had to go back and reset up my retro arch it was all wrong the first time I did it. It's good now. Same with yuzu I could get that to work at first. Then I updated yuzu to newest version and works like charm.
I have been emulating on my android devices for a long time. When i first saw this video i said to myself "oh i dont need to watch that". Then i had to drive an hour for work and thought i would at least listen to this since i am getting an Odin 2 soon. I'm really glad i did cause im learning some things. Especially the retroarch stuff. I'm def going to need to watch your retroarch guide.
Thanks this helped me setup the emulators on my Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Gamesir G8+ controller!! Thanks for all your efforts to help the retro gaming community!!
Ross your videos are put together so well, the quality of your job is top. I've been following you since pandemic times and own a couple of devices because of your videos😅(including the Odin 2 which I just finished configuration thanks to this video). Thanks for making things as easy as possible even for a person like me that is not well versed in these matters. I had a couple of hiccups here and there but in excited and happy with how my Odin 2 ended up looking and performing. Again, thank you for your work🙏🙏
Thank you, Russ! I have been on this scene since the LDK Landscape and RG350, but they way things evolve, it is very helpful to know the best/latest settings from someone whom has set up so many of these devices!
Thank you for this very detailed guide for beginner like me. It's helped me alot for my new odin 2. Fun fact I will mod my white odin 2 to look exactly like your as well. You're a living legend. ❤
Thanks for this, the Android and Retroarch settings were especially helpful. Disabling the Lock Screen and lengthening the the screen turnoff interval made this feel so much more like a handheld game system
No questions here, hardly ever commenting on a video, but this one deserves... Just to say thanks for all the work in this video and everything you've been doing for retro gaming community.
Love your content! My favorite part is when you say "Yeah man! I want to do it" lol This guide was vey helpful in setting up my first Handheld PC (Odin 2) and understanding this emulator world
I bought my Odin to take it on vacation over the holidays. This guide was a life saver. One important point: Daijisho does not work with Vita (as far as I can tell at least).
While this may the most in-depth Guide I have ever seen. It seems like a TON of work for the average non tech guy to go through all this without breaking something.
Thank you so much for making such an intuitive video! Slowing it down was perfect for me to follow along with you; the only part I was confused about was the Wii setup. I was not as familiar with a wii because I only had one for a few years with a kid and getting the controllers setup is a pain.
I’m new to retro gaming and I would like to say thank you because the video is fantastic it made setting up look easy, BRILLIANT well worth subscribing.
I just ordered my odin 2 pro, and i have been binge watching as much as i could. Your videos are super informative and helpful! Thank you! Can't wait to set aside a saturday to work on this just to be able to play ps2, dreamcast, and gamecube! Thanks again!

Maybe one day you will

very clear instructions, easy to follow and beyond helpful to have everything needed in one video, thank you for putting this content out !
Thank you so much for this Russ! I got my Odin 2 when you posted the New Years sale and Base restock after hearing how much fun you had with it on vacation and absolutely love it! Thanks for all the great content :)
Thank you for the support!
Should be getting mine on Tuesday this week. So excited so I started watching this in preparation.
My Odin 2 just arrived and about to delve in! I don't think I would have the confidence to do this without these videos, thanks Russ :)
This is a very nice video! Just completed the setup on my Odin 2. Appreciate it!
I just purchased and thank you so much for such a comprehensive guide + the Emulation Station. I'm using my Odin2 Pro for language learning and playing EUR roms in a different language. Cant thank you enough for this.
Great video! Just got the Odin 2 after viewing your very informative review videos. This one is saving me a ton of fiddling and experimentation with the settings. Having also your site as written reference is quite useful. Thanks for putting so much effort in making all this clear and complete.
Don't even own it and sat through the entire video, amazing work.
Russ I’ve bought many systems based on your guides and reviews. Thank you for your excellent work!
Thanks Russ ! My little community in Italy was asking for this! Your video is the best, so i'll repost them yours! You are number one !
Thanks, Russ! Appreciate all the hard work and dedication you put in on these guides. I didn't even bother setting mine up until this was up since I knew it would be "THE" guide to use. Also picked up the blue color since it looked so good in your videos!

Thank you so very much for your contribution to the community! Great guide as always!
Amazing video... I just ordered one of these Odin 2 devices and am now watching this video. Thank you
Major thanks from an emulation newbie -- I followed your guide and could not have figured this out all by myself; I'm highly tech ignorant.
Omg I finally figured this thing out. A hole lot of pausing and rewinding. But I finally got it and love my device. Thank you for the video 👍

Wow, awesome guide. Thank you very much. Can't wait for my Odin 2 to get here so I can watch the whole thing again!
Thank you!!!!! This helps make sure I didn't miss anything. I'll watch this like 6 times and set up my device over the next few days
I haven't even watched this yet but my Pro 2 is arriving today so was looking for a video to help set it up and this looks perfect, thanks!
Russ, I just got mine on Christmas, now I'm excited!
What a detailed introduction, this is what a professional review should look like, bro.
Even though I had set up my Odin by myself, watching this bc.. how can you resist Russ’ 1hr video :)
GREAT video!! Thank you for taking the time do make such an awesome video here Russ! One of my favorite YT channels!
I just got a Gamesir G8 to use with my S23+ as my first foray into handheld emulation, so this guide has dropped at a perfect time 👍
Thanks for this, the Android and Retroarch settings were especially helpful. Disabling the Lock Screen and lengthening the the screen turnoff interval made this feel so much more like a handheld game system
I was not aware you were woking on a starter guide for the Odin 2 until a few days ago, so I have been waiting for this. As usual, awesome job Russ!
Device arrived today in the mail, as soon as I could set some time I knew I had to look for this video, thanks Russ!
feeling very exhausted about setting up the Odin 2... very appreciated for your teaching
No questions here, hardly ever commenting on a video, but this one deserves... Just to say thanks for all the work in this video and everything you've been doing for retro gaming community.
Thank you Russ. Always a pleasure to see your videos and this one is the reason I purchased a Odin 2 last week.
My Odin 2 just came in today, actually the perfect time for this video to come out. You're the best!
Love your content!
My favorite part is when you say "Yeah man! I want to do it" lol
This guide was vey helpful in setting up my first Handheld PC (Odin 2) and understanding this emulator world
I bought my Odin to take it on vacation over the holidays.
Just ordered mine based on your recommendations! Can't wait to get and use this video for setup
Thanks Russ. This tutorial will be very helpful. My Odin 2 Pro is on the way along with the super dock. Excited much.
I’m new to retro gaming and I would like to say thank you because the video is fantastic it made setting up look easy, BRILLIANT well worth subscribing.
Appreciate you making this, stoked to set mine up tonight!
I just ordered my odin 2 pro, and i have been binge watching as much as i could. Your videos are super informative and helpful! Thank you! Can't wait to set aside a saturday to work on this just to be able to play ps2, dreamcast, and gamecube! Thanks again!

Bud your a legendary showing us how to do this. I had no idea what to do but you literally taught us how all this works. Couldn't have done it without you.
This video could have been 2 hours and it would have been fine. Honestly I constantly had to pause cause some sections were quick. The written guide is great idea too cause I referred to that occasionally. Thanks again you should have added paypal donate link in your description to give you a tip. Anyways thanks again.
Hell yeah, thanks a lot for this! My Odin was waiting in the box for this video
This video was a Godsend, and I am glad it was here. Im happy I purchased my Odin.
Ordered my Odin Pro 2 yesterday! I’ve been watching Odin videos for weeks now 😂❤
You will love it. I haven't put mine down in 4 months.
This video also made the setup a breeze. Good luck friend!
I’m think about buying one, do you need a pc to get All the games that you want to emulate? (I haven’t finished watching the vid btw)
wow it's even better than i thought.
thank you for covering ALL hte details !
I'm so happy I got my odin 2, I went with the base model good enough hardware for what I want.
I can't understate how massively helpful this entire video is.. 🙏
I was happy to see WuldfDen gave you a shoutout to you in his video about setting up the Odin 2.
