My vote is for the navy background wallpaper. Since it is an accent wall this will pop and it more of a neutral compared to the other samples. Because your living room is light and bright, I think the darker color as you enter will be a nice contrast. The pine hutch is 😍😍😍!

I would go with the taupe background wallpaper w/ the white as it's neutral . You can always add any color that's in style as colors change every year and this color wallpaper goes with anything. Also I wouldn't tire of that one. That pie safe is gorgeous! Great prices on those Phalsgraf pieces! They are very expensive in the store! Why didn't you go on and put the pie safe in the kitchen? Why wait? Thanks for sharing. ❤️

Hi Sarah such a beautiful hutch you found but I’m quite sure that this wonderful piece is infact English Oak it’s very grainy wood and pine is more of knotty wood and a much more orange colour. Your home is so beautiful just love your style 😍😍😍😍

They are around $20- at Harbor freight. I add scrap wood to the cheaper ones and they are perfect. 💖
My husband bought me a set of Pfaltzgraff Heritage White dishes in a service for 6 as a gift for our anniversary. That pitcher is so beautiful! I just recently found one at our local thrift store for $5.

I love the blue wallpaper with the flowers, it looks so rich and beautiful! My hutch is pretty identical to yours with just a couple of small differences and I love it. I was able to find my at a local antique shop for $250! I couldn’t believe it when I found it, so it had to come home with me. Love your ironstone pieces too. I always decorate my hutch with my ironstone collection too!

I have a hutch just like it, and it was passed down to me from my mom. It was my great grandma’s pie safe, and mine has holes on the side so that the pies 🥧 could cool.😊

This is actually what I came here to say, as well! Sarah, these are highly desirable and sought after in the South. Many times people will replace the original screens with glass. It will be just beautiful in your kitchen. I have an antique booth but this one is so stunning that if I had picked it, I would have kept it for myself!! It was definitely worth what you paid. I have one that is original to my home. Just lovely. 🖤 from Louisiana.

Great find on the cabinet. As for the wallpaper I think the cream & taupe design that would be timeless or the blue & white for more color.

The pie safe is GORGEOUS! The vent holes in the bottom sides is where they cooled their baked goods. I live in Ohio and I was gifted one almost identical by my husbands friend ( he knows I love antiques, he was thinking about putting on a burn pile) My pie safe had wood veneer panels where the glass is in yours, and they were BADLY water damaged as it was sitting in a barn for years! I pulled the panels out and put in aa dark oiled bronze radiator sheet in each side. I didn;t want glass... One of these days I will have my husband move it outside so I can sand the inside ( it was badly painted white) and repaint it inside, I used a couple of coats of matte poly on the outsid

I have the twin to your new cabinet. It’s a pie safe. See the round holes with the mesh covers that to vent the pies. I have many antiques and I just found out about the holes. I love mine too. Enjoy yours

That's a beauty. Looking at the grain I'm pretty sure it's not pine. It's oak. Lots of experience with wood. Oak is a much harder wood then pine. Plus, older pine pieces usually have knot holes which is why it's called knotty pine. My kitchen cabinets are knotty pine just like my grandmother had. I had a pine hutch I sold. It looks great in your home. Tough choice on the wallpaper. I like the blue on blue or the cream one. ❤

Hi Sarah! I love your hutch…so pretty. Wallpaper- I think the bottom 2 fit more with what I think you’ve said you want the feel to be in your home. The bottom right ( blue background with White flowers) is Perfect! The larger flowers will keep it from being outdated in a few years IMO. They’re all very pretty though…hard choice I’m sure.

The top two with blue flowers.😊 My daughter recently purchased a cupboard like yours. We painted the inside only a soft white to brighten the inside for dishes to stand out and freshen it. Look to see if it is original glass. It will be wavy or some tiny bubbles.

Sarah I love the hutch, beautiful. The dishes look really pretty in there. I to like the blue wallpaper with the white flowers, just so soft looking. Don't think you would go wrong there but my second choice the the over all beige, with the little cream mixed in. Love those to. Very pretty finds. I saw pine trees in your video! Do you have different types of weather in your area? My vote is for the light background with the bouquet on it, for the wallpaper.
We have pine trees, but they are more than likely planted. The sierras are about 1 1/2 hours away from us. The weather is usually warm and dry here. This year we are getting lots of rain.
