On a previous episode of The Tommy Robinson Show, I talked about the British Army’s new ad campaign. They launched a few campaigns that focused on showing people that it’s OK to cry in the army, and there’s nothing to fear if you’re gay…as if there was ever any kind of genuine threat against gays from the military anyway.
This year, even more adverts from this campaign have been released - including ad campaigns focused on showing Muslims that being in the army helps their faith. It even shows members of the military pausing operations, while some bloke takes off his shoes and bows down to pray in the middle of a war zone.
There are even adverts that show it's OK to cry in the Army!
This isn’t right. What the hell is going on with our military?
On today’s episode of the show, I took a look at some other examples of military recruitment campaigns from across the world. It shows just how much of a laughing stock our military is becoming.

F*ck even I wanted to join the Chinese army when I saw their ad, it looked exciting and exactly what young people would be into. The British ad makes it look like you'll be joining some kind of weird counselling group. These ads once again show just how out of touch the establishment and politicians are with white working class people from their own country.
They're not really out of touch, as they are successfully breeding natives out with their endless diversity policies..
You see, the ads for China make it out to be a video game, but I kid you not, they are bored out of their fucking minds most of the time.

Didn't really like the Chinese advert. Came across as a bit unprofessional. A military recruitment ad should fill one with pride for their country not an urge to shoot people. Unless you're desperately trying to amass numbers. Spose that works.
I like this US Marine Corps recruitment TV ad from the 1980s. Dungeons and Dragons was popular back then, hence the medieval theme. The knight in shining armor is more English than American; our country isn't that old. However, the simple good vs evil theme, the operatic music building with a crescendo, and the climactic victory at the end make this an epic ad that I still remember today. I just searched TH-cam to see if anyone saved it and uploaded it, and here it is.

I never actually enlisted, but the TV ad is memorable nonetheless. The US Army TV ad from the 1980s was more conventional; "Be all that you can be, get an edge on life, in the Army," or "Be all that you can be, find your future in the Army!"

Those British recruitment ads gave people a great reason to join up .......... to the French Foreign Legion.

Both myself and my wife served in the army for 23 and 24 years respectively. How times change. I considered it an honour to serve my queen and country. Now it seems the military hierarchy have bowed down to every "minority group" imaginable. If comrade corbyn gets in, we wont have a military at all. I saw that muslim army ad a few days ago and was so enraged. Like you said Tommy, they're not advertising for Christian, Buddhist, Hindu lads. Hadn't seen the other ads until now. "What happens if I want to cry?" Ffs! In Islam, you are allowed to postpone prayers in a life or death situation in a battlefield, or you can pray in your mind while fighting. No Muslim in their right senses would jeopardize the safety of their fellow soldiers and themselves to pray properly, there are many other alternatives in a situation like that.

When I joined the Army in 1971 the recruitment videos were the same as the Chinese and Russian videos and it worked. Serving soldiers are complaining about these new videos and guess what? Commanders have been told to discipline any soldiers who complain about them. I loved my 24 years in the Army but I wouldn't join today and I never ever thought I would say that.

As an American Vet myself, I have to say, those videos were disgraceful. To completely politicize your fighting men and women like that is an afront to those who sacrifice and die on behalf of the Country. Over here in America, were fighting like HELL to keep that kind of shit at bay. Its not been an easy battle, even having to go so far as electing Trump to keep it from happening. Now me personally, I dont care if youre Muslim, Gay or Female. It makes no difference to me. What matters to me is your values and your attitude. Are you willing to put your unit and your country ahead of yourself? Are you going to do your job without allowing too much of your personal baggage to get in the way? I served, saw combat on three continents and served as a recruit instructor. Left in '91, one reason being things were getting too soft.
Now, with more and more combat troops required, who will see combat ; the basic principles of making a soldier (one who kills) are neccessry. Which are, to take the right ' raw material', break it down and mould it into something that can be relied upon to do unthinkable things.
I think seeking to recruit anyone who is more concerned about their religion, sexuality, feelings... than being the one who can give everything when required - is a terrible idea.

War doesn't give you time to pray, so why should the Army stop an entire patrol just so you can pray and risk getting taken out...even if it is training.

I spent 27 years in the army, from a long line of soldiers and servicemen. I talked my kids out of joining, don't waste your time kids, fighting against people who will be brought here and housed before you. My kids are not going to be killed nor maimed on the battle field for corporate gain.

Yeah, if you're infantry you get nothing. But if you're an Engineer or a Mechanic Etc. Etc. you'll find that it can qualify you for when you leave. It's also a good pay considering that you're not really going to spend it most of the time. The Army is also a really good place to seek jobs since they're *always* recruiting members and it opens up Job experience.

I am a Chinese living in the west for decades now, and I have seen the PC culture truly getting out of hands around here. Especially in the last 10 years or so. There are still problems in Chinese military such as corruptions, but IF a PLA officer put out a recruitment video like the one I just saw here done by U.K. Army; he would likely spend time behind bars due to TREASON against the state, for trying to lower the combat effectiveness of new recruits. It is so obvious these video's sole purpose is social engineering at the micro levels of western society.
