Hi Alex, I have seen that you are using the Fanatec DD1 on your desk. I am planning on upgrading my own setup with the Fanatec CSL DD. After upgrading i am pretty much broke so i cant buy a sim cockpit so im going to have to use it on my desk. I was wondering if using a Direct Drive Wheelbase on a desk is ok. Do you have any negatives that i should worry about? Any tips? Please let me know.
I’ve had no negative experiences using full 20nm on my desk, so you should be fine :) I also have a pretty strong desk but I think you should have no problems. The CSL table clamp is really good I recommend it, thanks for commenting if you got any other questions just drop them here :)
