    Went thru the process with my fairly recently built T960 hexacopter. Finally had a day with no wind. It flies so much smoother now. Previously, it was so aggressive with starting and stopping, it looked like it was going to go completely out of control (sometimes, especially stopping). I feel more confident with it now. Thanks.

    Great video thanks!! I just need to know the ideal parameters od pids before autotune..i had the maiden flight (orange cube) last day with bad results (Altitude hold and stabilized).. My craft is quite big, quad copter with T motor 490kv U7, and 6s with 18"

    On extended Tuning, Under RC7 Opt dropdown I get blank, (no options) I've got a toggle on ch 7 moves in receiver tab and is calibrated in, what gives?

    Nice videos! Thank you! Did you set the Rate Roll and Pitch filters to 10hz (in Copter-3.3 these are RATE_RLL_FILT_HZ and RATE_PIT_FILT_HZ, in Copter-3.4 they are ATC_RAT_RLL_FILT, ATC_RAT_PIT_FILT) as per Ardupilot Copter for large copters? I have the same copter as you with the Cube, 15" props, and I still had oscillations. But haven't tried the 10 hz. Thanks again for your videos.

    In my quadcopter i get randomly EKF ground mag anomaly(very danger cause copter acting wired), should i recalibrate it even that the pixhawk has a global magnitude database and no need for compass calibration they said

    Did you also set up the harmonic notch filters before this auto-tune? I am trying to auto-tune, however, I keep getting this error: "not able to level, please manual tune".

    consider my 5th channel is selected to loiter and i took off with loiter then through 6th channel i switch to autotune ...will that be okay to try ??

    What if i cant get 15 minutes of flight time? Running 4S 6000mah's, and only get about 8 minutes.

    1) Powered the drone with 3s 2200mAh battery.
    2) ESCs make initial sound(Don't know if anyone is not making).
    3) After sometime, can see 2,3,4 motors rattling a bit with each beep, except motor 1 and no beep with motor 1 ESC.
    4) Using Pixhawk, after arming when I fly the drone tilts on the motor 1 side, but motor1 rotates.
    5) For this reason, I have lost my props of motor 1 twice. Please help.

      I found out you can auto tune one axis at a time. Autotune_axes parameter.
