      I he would have told him that the aram "Apes together strong" mentality is only good when you're behind, and quite often significantly behind, rather than ahead. The splitting and "Bring people to you, you don't go to other people" mentality is good when you're strong enough to force a 1v1 or 1v2 and win.

    • @elanmorin8619

      @@Fishbro Because streamers taught people to try and solo carry, split, never group for "random skirmishes on mid" most people have zero idea when is the moment they can group and end. Grouping is the simplest yet strongest macro decision you can make. Does it work always? No. But it works in 60-70 % of all games depending on your team compositions. People who try to split every game like monkeys make me puke. In 33 % of the games you have better team comp so you just group and win. In 33 % of the games you have weaker comp so you try to put pressure on the map on multiple places. In the rest 33% no team has advantage by grouping and so most of the time the team that groups first and takes 1-2 towers on mid wins.

Played a match with his gold friends 2-3years later(as a silver) and my biggest contribution was starting fights/baiting rotations and engages.
      Whenever I was close to gold last season I'd start meeting alot of them and losing hard (same for the only couple times I have lost to a Draven as Aphelios, they were all gold).

      Well, that highly depends on teamcomps even more than if you're winning or losing. Some champions and comps excel at splitpushing, and Yas is one of them. And even he can turn into a teamfight god if paired with stuff like Malp, Diana, Gragas. While if you're playing a mage, marksman, support, etc, you normally don't split as much

    • @elanmorin8619
      @elanmorin8619 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Funny. Is that why in pro play people constantly group? Grouping is best macro play whether you like it or not. I wish people were being told that too. In 1/3 of the games you just have better team for teamfights so all you need to do is group again and again to claim their towers. So see, in this game we just watched, the only hope for the enemy team would be to force 5v5 mid. Yasuo is very strong 1v1 or 1v2 so you cannot really stop him unless you put 1/2 of your team.

    Definitely a player who is staying calm and trying to improve and learn the game. At 25:58 though, he can just stat check (as you have been telling him) under tower on the shaco. He landed all abilities on shaco, AND most importantly, the tornado and had ult up again. He ults, he gets passive shield + kill for Triumph + lifesteal, tanks the tower shot, flashes out and still takes the inhib afterwards. Small nitpick from a tilting yasuo main, he plays great for being out 4 years previously.

    TBH I think something that would surprisingly improve this guy's gameplay is to set an FPS limit. It might just be something with discord, but there were some times he seemed to experience lag.
    Even if you have a beefy computer that can consistently hold 250FPS; it's a pointless flex to leave FPS uncapped. I'd rather play the entire game with a solid 60FPS than have my framerate jump from 150-200 all game.
