I watched your later video after this on the Orient Express... I love this trip better, lol, your drinks were included.) I just liked this train much better and if I remember correctly, this trip was cheaper than the Orient Express overnight trip and you were in the "Presidential Suite" on this trip! Amazing journey and thanks for sharing.
@@GreenerGrass Jeb, your videos make my WEEK WORTHWHILE! 😅 Just wets my appetite to visit these awesome places and experience these trains planes or automobiles! (Get the pun!) 😂
Thanks! I just wanted to say that perhaps, since you are the owner of your videos, you can sell them, or pieces of them, to travel agencies in the future. I'm sure I'm not the first one to suggest it. BUT if I am. I want to be somewhere you will be. Maybe at my expense. I love you both.
Amazing that they were able to deliver these luxury experiences (gourmet food, perfectly made beds, liquor, and top notch service) within the confines of a train. The management and staff of the company deserve recognition for going above and beyond expectations.
When you say you are not "fancy", it is what makes your channel very enjoyable. See places from a "regular" persons view, a lot more fun than watching reviewers which are clearly corrupted. Keep it that way! 😃
Yea let’s not wax lyrically about Jeb. I love his videos but his travels are not the norm and are not what most of us can afford. A little bit of humble travel from time to time wouldn’t go astray. I’ve seen a few other reviewers that do the same have lost viewers over the last few years - specially as we seem to be entering a financially different period and perhaps a recession.
You keep it fresh in your adventure choices. The rainforest really was a rare opportunity and that symphony of bug sounds; I loved it. They didn't miss a thing. Well worth it.
Thank you again for showing a whole lot of the scenery in superior quality. 30 seconds & better when exceptional scenery is much appreciated. So many blogs use too many cliches speed changes.
So my wife and I have been to Singapore and Malaysia several times, it is one of our favorite destinations in the world. And we’re actually in the process of retiring to M’asia within the next few years. And while I realize the conceit of this channel is planes and trains, I literally choked when you revealed the price for this trip. That is literally *two years* worth of rent at the condo we are looking to move into over there! All I can say is, I sincerely hope that after traveling to the literal antipodes from the US, that you guys stayed there for another week or two to experience the country as one should: great hotels at amazing rates, and some of the best food in the world at insane prices. I’m hard pressed to spend more than US $5-10 at a hawker center in My (maybe twice that in Sg), and they have always been some of the best meals on the planet. Hope you make more vids in SE Asia!
I am sure they are well aware of that....however their target audience is pp who want to see luxurious train journeys, not cheap hawker meals. There are many other different channels for that.
This train route has literally been on my bucket list since I was in High School (which is now approaching ~ 15 years at this point)- I lived and worked in Thailand for two years and did a lot of travel through Malaysia and Singapore so just any kind of relaxing trip is still number one in my book! Awesome video!!!!
Greetings from Penang, Malaysia! Hope you and Suzanne had enjoyed your trip in Malaysia! Thank you for the great video as hoping someone will make a video about the Eastern & Oriental Express. Hope you will be back to Malaysia soon as there is so much more to explore here. Hopefully one day you will make a video reviewing Malaysia Airlines with your JebScore! ps. Taman means Park, Negara means Country, so in a sense it literally translate to National Park. 😅
I really appreciate how grounded you guys have stayed through all the luxury and high class living! Thank you for sharing another incredible experience!
Jeb & Suzanne: "We are not fancy" also Jeb & Suzanne: traveling on the most luxurious commercial transportation modes... I enjoy the storytelling, the background music is relaxing, and the experience on board makes me want to travel...
Yeah, I always laugh when they say it. It’s generally like once a video and it’s always when they are doing something very fancy. I think their definition of fancy is royalty. I’ve never even heard of 75% of the food they eat in these excursions. They are a long way from cup of noodles and spam that a good chuck of us eat haha. Still doesn’t take away from the videos though and I’ll always enjoy them. It just gives me a chuckle whenever they talk about not being fancy.
Yea let’s not wax lyrically about Jeb. I love his videos but his travels are not the norm and are not what most of us can afford. A little bit of humble travel from time to time wouldn’t go astray.
JEB! So glad to see you back! 😁 Trains are my absolute favorite way to travel and see travels! Excited to see this adventure! I haven't watched it just yet but I'm crossing my fingers Suzanne is with you! I love the solo vids but Suzanne is a queen! 🎉 Happy travels!

I don’t think many people realize how much work goes into, Planning, and execution of the plan…not to mention how you guys didn’t have to record this and you could’ve easily taken this time to relax but no! Just shows your guys passion, and commitment to this platform…thanks guys!
Loving your videos, I have been living in the UK for 14 years and afternoon tea is still a rarity for me but once you've had afternoon teas in all their glory you'll grow to like them
Your detailed tour of the Presidential Suite on Belmond’s ‘Eastern & Oriental Express,’ including the luxurious amenities and premium bar car, is fantastic. Thanks for sharing your journey through Singapore and Malaysia!
Excellent video. Beautiful excursion; and that train was gorgeous. You and Suzanne definitely know how to present luxury trips. It's always informative and breathtaking to see. Then comes my absolute favorite- the bloopers. You two are a very hilarious couple. I love it. Again, excellent.
I enjoy seeing you both experiencing the world together….I am a Malaysian, now in South Florida ….. Next time you go to Malaysia, you take a bus to Taman Negara from Kuala Lumpur, …once you get there, you’ll take a long wooden boat and cruising along the river to get to the center of Taman Negara and there are resorts, in there. Cruising on the river on the wooden boat is something unique….and most tourist will choose to do this. Next time you spend several days even a week in Penang, few days in Cameron Highlands, days in Kuala Lumpur, then a few days in Melaka, then fly to Sabah and Sarawak….You can easily spend a month just exploring East and West Malaysia. best time to visit is during the major festival such as Chinese New Year, or Hari Raya or Deepawali so you can try the unique delicacies prepared for the festival.
I absolutely love your videos! At almost 80 I’m not traveling anymore of course never say never but for the most part I’m just at home so your videos take me places I’ll never go thank you! Have you ever found meals that you just couldn’t eat that just weren’t to your taste at all?
Thank you for showing the menus IN the video. I had stopped watching for a while because I didn't like having to go to a different website to read the menus. It wasn't cohesive. Great, relaxing video! I gave it a like and subbed.
Great video! I took the E&O in 2004 from Singapore to Bangkok. Had a blast! Dinners were black tie back in those days. So glad it’s back in service and hope it will restore service to Thailand soon!
Singaporean all my life and I just discovered the existence of a luxury train? I've taken the train at the woodlands checkpoint but only knew of the regular ones.
This was just a fabulous travel blog. You and Suzanne bring it every time. I love the way the two of you make it feel as if we’re part of your journey. As a person who loves train travel myself, this was an absolute treat.
Great job with the video and highlighting the features of the train, and your experience in Malaysia. You're not wrong that everything there revolves around food culture!
I have no particular interest in trains and travelling because of awful motion sickness, but I accidentally came across your videos last night, and I can't stop watching them!
Amazing video on another A+ train! And just when it couldn't get luxurious enough, you drop a Laurent Ferrier Traveller on us! An apt time piece for one of the most luxurious train experience! When are we going to see you talk about watches???
Thanks for sharing. The furnishings in your train are enviable. The landscape through the window is lovely. Again thanks for sharing. I am watching from Uganda
We absolutely loved this vlog, so interesting, can totally understand the ‘we’re not fancy people’ I did a day trip a couple of times on the Orient Express in England and thoroughly enjoyed it, but don’t think I could sustain fancy food for a great length of time, but loved escaping to that world for the day.
Now the aesthetic and fabrics and attention to detail and incredibly beautiful food on top of the view, and I’m sure the excellent service, is what I think of when I hear luxury train. And while being a Canadian, we have the incredible views, the trains, well kind of leaves something to be desired.
Good evening I just started watching earlier today. I believe this is my second or third video very interesting different and new love the travel love the feedback and each train as I have never experienced besides a few hours on Amtrak for my husband to do a bungee jumping thank you God bless you guys absolutely beautiful, continue continue. Enjoy andsuccess. 🎉🎉🎉🎉🤗🙌🏾🥳😇🤩
Afternoon tea may not be your thing, Jeb, but I have a feeling you took a distinct pleasure in watching Suzanne enjoy the sweets that came with the tea.
Hi Jeb and Suzanne. I love your videos. I have watched several travel vlogs. They stem from the luxury show offs to the over the top connaisseurs. What I love about your videos, is that you share an experience that you want to make accessible to all. It makes us want to save up and experience it. You guys really explain what most of can experience during such trip and I thank you for it. Keep on the great work! Because of you guys, I have been saving up for a Japan trip with my wife. Sorry, my English is not perfect, I am francophone. From Benin, West Africa with love. By next year to Japan!
I do love these videos. I once took the auto train with my husband and daughter in the family sleeper car. The sleeping was hell. I rocked the wrong way, and we were on the lower lever. Noisy as hell! The stops were loud, intrusive, etc. Food was okay. There's not a lot for a toddler to do. We brought our own mini-tv with VCR access. LOL. I think the years was 2002
Beautiful countryside, an amazing train, charming hosts, and another wonderful video!! I also love the concept of an open-air observation car...like both of you, I think I'd spend most of my time there (when I'm not in the dinning car enjoying all that delicious looking food of course!)...Thanks Jeb and Suzanne for sharing the trip with everyone! (but Jeb - how can you not like "English tea" lol!! ...Cheers to you both!!)...

Thanks for this video. Enjoyed what ever showed. Narration was perfect. To travel in such a train thru such a journey is a lifetime experience for quite a some.
Hi Jeb, Dave from St Helema checking in with you! I did the E&O about 10 years ago and importantly before the years of the C word. Back in the day the experience started at Raffles Hotel with all the formalities completed over a Singapore Sling. This was followed by a coach transfer to Woodlands. And yes we ended in Bangkok via kanchanaburi in Thailand. Having said all that delighted to see the service up and running sort of. Great film, thanks guys
Your contents is always the best, Jeb and Suzanne! It just never stops getting old. Hope you guys are doing good and getting ready for Summer! (Please ❤ my comment!)
The train videos remain my favorites 🙂. I'm with you Jeb 100% that observation car would be my morning routine. I wouldn't want to leave lol just amazing views. What a way to experience train travel. Great work guys what a great experience!
Such a nice video! I am a train lover and want to take trains anywhere in the world. Thank you for showing me such a nice trip. I wish you could have travelled further to Bangkok instead of back to Singapore. The only time I was confused was when saying they always use local ingredienties on the train, and one second later you show a bottle of wine from Argentina.... Please try it again and come to Thailand! Best country in South East Asia!
We were fortunate to travel from Singapore to Butterworth, Kuala Lumpur & Bangkok. It was an amazing journey with fantastic food and service. Although the train broke down twice we still had an amazing time! Really enjoy your travels Jeb & Suzanne, how about you go to our favourite hotel Raffles in Singapore next!
Thank you for your video; it's probably the closest i'll ever get to such a luxurious train. I saw some of the largest insects i've ever seen in my life when visiting Malaysia with my daughter and her husband in spring of 2019 and the tropical plant life was gorgeous! We didn't board the Eastern & Oriental Express, but we stayed at the elegant 5 star Cameron Highland Resort and visited the BOH tea plantation. Thanks again for letting me reminisce about some of the experiences i had there!
I absolutely love your videos. This is my second time watching this particular video I love it. You two are my favorite. You make the YTs so entertaining and funny. I travel through you ya all. There is one other person I watch but no one can beat you too. I also like when you show the food. 😂God bless you ❤❤❤ And tyvm.

What a wonderful trip and the food looked amazing.
Thank you for taking us on a fantastic journey
I absolutely love your videos. This is my second time watching this particular video I love it. You two are my favorite. You make the YTs so entertaining and funny. I travel through you ya all. There is one other person I watch but no one can beat you too. I also like when you show the food. 😂God bless you ❤❤❤ And tyvm.
