Mr. Haynes in super stock with the red Galaxie i have a 64 Galavie myself but I don't do with mine like you do but i have had mine since 1976 first car and all but i do know mine very well and if you would allow me the opportunity to suggest ia few things first you have got to get the rear end down out of the air second your traction bars need to be more level with the frame and no more than a half inch between the rubber snubber and the frame get a good set of rear shocks put a little more gear in it and turn it just a little tighter as long as you have a solid bottom end it will take some more RPM just dont miss any shifts would love to see go a few rounds
I know its easier for the camera man to film from the rear.... but it sucks! You need to film from in front of the cars as they leave the line... at least have BOTH cars in frame when they leave. The camera work has not been very good the last few years... very lazy!!!!
Thanks for the input. Yes it’s easier to film from the back, but as a single man filming the race, if I go in front of the cars for the entire race, you won’t get any good burnout shots or any shots of the BUGS. So I try to mix it up each race but sometimes I do miss going a little ways up the track but I’m trying to do better about that.
@dh.media_ TC ft ex please realize although photography sells the product, it takes a team to make it 100%. If you want better coverage, get off your assignment and get down there! Put in your own effort to satisfy yourself.
