I've now spent around 6 hours riding one and it has to be by far the best sportsbike I have ever ridden it is in a word outstanding and worth every penny! Excellent film guys keep up the great work, very entertaining.

As an aside, I'm a huge BvG loyalist and it sounds like there are no bounds to Chris's talent of putting the riding experience into words and pointing out oddly important details (i.e. spamming the indicator button). Dude is a straight up word gangsta.
I don't really miss the UK, But seeing Bristol brings back nostalgic feelings. Although not as much as when you rode those little bikes through Cheddar Gorge. Ride safe me babber!

I can’t believe that people would complain about 189hp. The hp to weight ratio has got to be insane on a bike like that. I’m a Harley guy and you guys get me thinking about a sport bike. Great videos.

I'm sure that yes, I've been using my 1199r as a daily for the past two and a half years, more than 50,000km well rounded, I have not yet tested V4 but from what I've heard it's much more "usable" for day to day ...

I grew up in Nailsea but spent the first 12 years of my working life living in Bristol where I raced up and down the Gloucester Rd in my red Astra GTE. Having been deported for drinking coffee instead of tea I'm now much older and calmer while enjoying getting sweaty bollocks riding my Panigale V2 around my current home town, Miami.
Great video in true road riding conditions best review of the v4 in the real world yet brilliant,sounds amazing even low down really enjoyed watching that I wish I had 24 grand I’d be straight up the dealer wouldn’t think twice keep up the great vids

Great video! A bit of the old Baron von Grumble, along with Al’s excellent take on the bike. It’s interesting that the ergo is easier on the wrists. (I have the previous version and definitely know what you mean), and, of course, the requisite drive-through test was important. Both of your comments remind me a bit of your views on the S1000RR, in the sense of being accessible for every day riding conditions. Thanks for this fun first look!

Great vid chaps. I cannot believe you got sweaty gonads in the middle of winter. Summer is going to be even worse. I've ridden the baby 959 Panigale and damn that was chestnuts roasting over an open fire. I can't imagine what the V4 will be like in the summer. Still I'm sure I could put up with it :-)

Reading between the lines Ducati have finally after years of trying to make the monocoque work decided to take an old drawing of a deltabox they found in a practical sports bike issue 57 and design a bike that combines Ducati track design in the quality of build and engine but having put all of their creative energy into making the best normal shaped bike. Basically.
Thinking back to winter rides on my 996, with supercorsa's, ( ice rink comes to mind) I'm supprised you kept it right side uo lol. ( god, old duffer syndrom setting in), Great vid , as alway.. Only had to do 2 edits before hitting comment....3
The English just narrate things with far more of an enjoyable gusto and overall liveliness than Americans. I got all useful and detailed information about the bike but I also got a very pleasant, albeit, amusing side commentary of the areas in which you were riding. I’m sold on the v4

So, bit late to this, but having been to bristol a few times it was nice to recognise some different areas on a youtube vid. Never ridden there, only been in a car, isnt that nice to drive about in bu that's any town for you.

My 848 evo could fry your nuts if you were standing still too long but I really didn’t care. I would by a Ducati 10 out of 10 times if it’s a phenomenal bike. I don’t care about the slight discomfort you might feel temporarily when sitting still. It really is not a problem!
