I think stealth is the only thing I'm genuinely having fun with
It seems like that’s where most of the budget went into
I only get lobbies with level 20 players. Otherwise loud is cool I just need a team.
Yeah it’s great but loud feels very slow and tough
@@Virtualsinneryeah I'm always wondering why level 20 players are going to rock the cradle on overkill difficulty like they don't even have half the skills required to do most basic heists on very hard like if you wanna do stealth you pretty much need both grifter and hacker and most level 20s don't even have that they go into stealth with a loud build half the time
Going loud basically equals nearly guaranteed death beyond Hard.
No more medic class (1 bag is not a class; even non medics can take a single bag, give me my 13 medic bags back...) And no more armor regen. So amazingly unfun. I would refund if it let me. Oh AND xp =/= bags of money anymore. Pathetic game. Playing payday 3 makes me want to play payday 2. Not a sign of a good sequel. Two steps backward, one step forward.

I initially recorded it with another character, until I remembered the famous voice line from 2, so it felt more fitting to go with Wolf

And the hardest part of this and the Insurance Policy achievement is that you need friends or a competent group of strangers to complete it.
I think that's the rarest achievement in the game now too, for the same reason you stated
fr... seems like i'm the only one of my friends who still cares about payday lol, its impossible to get these sorts of achievements now (at least pd2 has the solo achievements mod)

I'm glad to see the secret parts of heist being in Payday 3 too, pretty underwhelming compared to Overdrill and the like though.
To be fair we're only at release so they'll hopefully both improve the actual game and add more secrets to discover
I like them but wish they didn't need multiple people to do it as I play primarily with randoms so it's like herding monkeys.
Not sure if you maybe already knew but for some reason that item you scan the painting with is the last bag missing for some reason so if put it on your back you will get the last bag and counts towards the all bags challenge when you escape with it on your back

The one bag missing is the scanner for the painting. You can pick it up and take it with you.

It also only counts as a loot bag when being interacted with once. If you leave it in its spawn position without bagging it once, it will also not count as a loot bag.
I never really liked big elaborate secrets in Payday, mainly because they usually require 3 more people than I play with, but also it's such a hassel for not much of a reward. Plus It's Under The Surphaze.
let the people who like secrets / extra stuff have fun with it then. It’s not about the reward it’s more about the achievement and the novelty of having done it once
It's fun when you have friends though, that's the point of them. They're not designed for solo players although honestly, payday isn't well designed for them. You need bot mods

this building is a real place in brooklyn and used to be completely gutted, the only thing was the brick skeleton and ive broken in irl to take photos inside of the shell of the building.
I do think the last picture is the one that you have to get for shade, but apparently isn't necessarie for the optional mission. In the mission, you have the chance that shade says: "I am not really into art, but if you find the picture with the dogs playing poker, get it for me" (or however she says it). But myself couldn't find it.
that's because its not a real painting in the mission, she says that line most of the time always near the half way mark (for me she says this whenever I was standing in circles for exhibit painting/sculpture access but it may be random line at any given time within the building)
someone modded the dogs playing poker painting as the secret painting for the 3 statues lol
What’s the mod you used for the dancing in the intro?
Can’t everyone use motion sensor and over lap cameras to ping routes? I do it myself on very hard and I ping all guards on bottom floor with the perk too ping two plus the motion sensors on the back off guards and will walk past others to ping for a good bit.

How did you get the metro cop to work? I have the same combine mod installed, but security guards and cops are normal.

I wondered where the F those "missing" amounts of loot are now.
I think the secure all loot disappears when you get enough bags not counting the easteregg painting so in order to make sure you should try to do the easteregg painting as last step so it will show all loot collected before you secure the extra bag ngl im half sure you didn't collect all and the game showed right it just lied to you bcs under normal means you would have collected all loot the game probs didn't check if the painting is special it just counted and check marked after certain number of bags was reached cheers though

I think that's "fine", since I think the more fun part is doing the activation or any puzzles like the overdrill tiles and the little maze here. Would have been nice to have it be more worth getting though . . .
@@GeneralMcBadass I mean I get the point, and I agree that the setup is good, but in my opinion the reward is lackluster. I haven't played PD3, but in PD2 a single painting was a pretty low value piece of loot. You usually either got them in bulk, like in art gallery, or as a bonus, like stealing them off a wall while waiting for a vault to crack or similar
I agree, the reward is VERY lackluster, both monetary value and actual excitement
@@GeneralMcBadass Why not, say, have the painting be a secret vault instead, and when you do the puzzle, you can move the painting aside. Either after a short lockpick the door would open, or it would be open already by doing the puzzle.
Maybe there could be a few bags of aztec gold or some ancient treasure behind, maybe a unique medal a la PD2 secret. Anything as long as it's exciting and rewarding

I believe activating the secret needs to be done stealth. However, if pushed the button, I think you can do it loud from there, not super sure though

It is pretty easy once you know the heist probably the toughest part is turning off the security in all the exhibition rooms

I wish Payday 3 was just way more fun? Like guns sound pretty okay. And there are some genuinely fun and funny moments. But I just don't think about it when I'm not on.
I wish shooting and being silly was more fun. I feel like polish went into a very old stealth system and some somewhat interesting mini games pad it out.

I was really hoping this game would be better than what we got. Imo the stealth was a big downgrade from payday 2. Payday 2 stealth felt more variety and more of the payday style then payday 3z
The best way in my opinion to fix stealth is to just bring concealment back that way you can't just run whatever you want since now it's skill focused instead of both skill and Loadout focused like it's in pd2
both of you guys just want the game to be like payday 2 again. Go play that game instead
Stealth is PD3 is a million times better than in PD2 since here it doesn't feel like an RNGfest on weather or not you get spotted by a guard on the other end of the map with his back turned.
@@IAmUnderscore i was looking for a upgrade to a game ive played for around a decade. Not a game that has 6 missions all of which are already based off of payday 2 missions. Payday 2 is better in almost every way. This was not the game ive waited years snd years for. Instead of making money they should have waited another year or 2 before releasing it
