someone once tried to mug me in a parking lot, he shined one of those high powered flashlights in my eyes and told me to hand over my wallet (he had something in his other hand I couldn't tell what) I said ok here's my wallet reached into my pocket and pulled a gun instead. fortunately he backed off and I was able to jump into my truck and high tell it out. I sometimes think about how different my life would be now if that had gone differently,
For my Tokarev and NP762, I usually shoot corrosive steel core 7.62 tokarev surplus ammo; mostly Chinese or Russian. If you look online, it is not hard to find in Canada. . Probably harder to get in the US, unfortunately, though I'm told that there are commercial ammunition suppliers. . In all honesty, slower ammunition has certain advantages; for instance, if you're interested in shooting at steel targets. I don't really feel like I can shoot steel safely with 7.62x25mm at the ranges I have at my disposal, so I don't. . 9x19mm is common, and was--until recently--reasonably affordable. . The caliber of what you buy should be based on both intended use, and price per round/availability. . The Norinco P762 is definitely a good buy for the price if you're in Canada, so as to take advantage of cheap surplus ammo... provided you also get either the matching Chinese 9mm clone, or an actual Sig P226 later on to use for steel targets in competition.
Thanks for the vid. Hard to find much on the NP 762, as its on my short list. I have the NP34 and itching for another, so a Tokarev chambered option is appealing. And with Norinco lead cored ammo available, its just makes that itch that much harder to ignore. Too bad about your Sig Mosquito. I have the Swiss Arms version, and been quite happy with it.
these two pistols are incomparable, because they have different ammunition, so there is no point in looking at them I was happy about the title, because I thought that SIG-SAUER made a pistol in the caliber 7.62 X 25TT or 7.63 X 25 mm-MAUSER at one time GLOCK, it seems to me about fifteen years ago, made a pistol in that caliber called ALASKA, specially for the Russian market, and it was in camouflage colors, and maybe it just seemed to me but out of politeness I watched to the end and got some useful information thank you for the video nice greetings
Just checked Google, and at most places, they seem to have crept up in price to about $370 CAD plus shipping. . (www.gotenda.com/shop/firearms/handguns/norinco-np762-4-5-pistol-7-62x25-tokarev/).
The np762 grip is huge. I'm 6'1 and my hand splay is 9" so pretty big hands, and I have to hold tightly. My kid who can basketball palm has a much better handle on it's
Awesome and candid vid thanks. This was the final review prior to my buying an np762. Seems pretty epic, cheers again)
Hi by any chance can you tell me the dimensions of the np762 mag? Length, Depth, and Width please.
Could measure it and let you, know, however...

NVM man, take it easy and unsubscribed.
@@ryacacray9728wow you're unsubscribing because you are too lazy to search up the dimensions yourself, that's crazy

Wow
What ammo do you buy and what pistol do you recommend? I like the 7.62x25 cheap and travels much faster than 9mm
