Not sure which video I asked about the sign slide fitting the 762 frame? Well I received my np22 today and it's slide fits just fine, even the 9mm mags will work with a spacer behind them like the tokarev 9mm has At least that's my finding,no shots from that combo so far.
I bought it 5 years ago (it was rebranded as Dominion Arm by Canada Ammo then). Didn't have good experience with it, got jammed every time, case retraction issue. I didn't go to range often and cleaned the gun every time. After 300 rounds the issue getting worse, and I also feel the recoil spring is weak and sometimes failed to feed. Not happy with it.
That sucks man. So far mine has been good as long as I don’t use the Czech surplus ammo. (Which is all that I have at the moment) I had some other bulk ammo and it was quite reliable. Maybe they worked some kinks out over time. I might try upgrading some springs to see if it will make it more reliable with the Czech ammo.
@@paparazzy1000it would be of no use for him, Norinco is banned in USA for providing gangs with military grade weapons, including surface to air missiles (I'm not joking)
the factory grip is way too big. I cut the front finger groove off and filed a bit off from rubber grip on the sides using sand paper. Now it fits perfectly. Really no need to replace it with Sig P226 grip, it's not a perfect fit anyway.
I don’t think so. I mean it’s not a SIG so it’s hard to know what the actual service life of this pistol will be on average. We do know that the Tokarev round is a fast cartridge. I haven’t shot mine enough to really know where the pistol is headed in the way of long term reliability. Maybe someone else on here could comment with their experience
@@Mike_858 nothing to report really. Seems to be holding up as expected. Just need to do some spring work and get that firing pin to hit the surplus ammo better and more consistent
@@coulee-outdoors Thanks for the update - I might get this pistol after all! Yeah old com bloc primers can be extremely hard sometimes - maybe those rounds were intended for use in submachine guns.
I have one and also a Zastava M57 (Tokarev). The Tok is fun but insanely inaccurate while the Norinco is far better in that regard. Only trouble I've had is that some of the Milsurp ammo will not fire due to light strikes with this gun. Shoots Norinco milsurp just fine but I have a batch of other stuff (Russian?) and it just wont go off in this gun yet will in the Tok. Time for a firing pin spring upgrade?...
I had similar issues with Czech ammo. Check out my video. th-cam.com/video/gamKmwpcaLM/w-d-xo.html I was thinking of upgrading the firing spring. Just haven’t got around to it yet
Your yugo might just be poorly worn. As for the ammo, old euro surplus ammo has notoriously hard primers, sometimes resulting in aks or polish pistols in particular piercing compercial primers
Thinkin about purchasing one. I just bought a second tt33 and 1000 rds for 200 bucks so I figure having a more modern pistol in that calibre is a good idea.
Only issues I’ve found are some Czech surplus primers seem really hard and the firing pin doesn’t have enough jam to set it off. A second strike will fire it off every time. Good thing it’s double action. Not sure if a stinger firing pin spring would fix the issue. I just haven’t been able to take out the pin that that holds the firing pin in. Needs a little dremel work I think. Oh well, it’s a cheap fun toy
@@coulee-outdoors I've found the Czech surplus ammo to be very poor quality and unreliable compared to the Russian and Chinese types. Personal experience for what it's worth.
I have two questions for you: Does GLOCK have a pistol chambered in 7.62 X 25 mm Tokarev or 7.63 X 25 mm Mauser? Or maybe another manufacturer besides NORINCO and DOMINION ARMS and what is the difference between these two guns?
To my knowledge Glock doesn’t have anything in 7.62. I’m not sure about other manufacturers making firearms in these calibers. The Tokarev round is eastern block/Soviet era caliber. I wish more modern manufacturers would make firearms in 762 Tok as its a fun round.
I have one,pretty accurate,nice pistol

I have dreams of owning one...but i live in the usa and they say i cant have one. Thank you for making this video
Your welcome. Glad you enjoyed it. Too bad that you guys can’t have them down there.
Strange how Americans can’t have Norinco products but Canadians can.

I want one of these quite badly: but more so a Glock 17 in 7.62x25. Shame we can’t get these in the USA.
Keep an eye out for the NP725, a copy of the flock in 7.62x25

Sexy pistol, thinking about getting one. Do you think service life of the pistol is reduced with its aluminum frame?

if you think the Yugoslav version of the TT-33 M57 is imprecise, you have no idea about shooting, let alone about pistols

What’s wrong with your TT-33? I have a Yugo M57 and I love it.
