I love the (sort of) T-tops!
Dash and overhead console is awesome.

The overhead console was literally my fav part! O love all the actual switches, and how they are overdone.

Base model is 71,9 and both Fieldmaster and Trialmaster are the same price - just over 79. Dealers (something like 18 in the US) aren’t charging markups - Ineos really pushed hard on that. If you do a total custom config with every single toy (winches, racks, etc etc etc) you could hit 100k - a really nice optioned up config would run in the 85-90 range. But they are freaking tanks - frame, axle, transfer case - everything is overbuilt and insane quality on build and components. That’s why it’s almost 6000 lbs, without winch or rack.

Excellent comment. I’d only point out that anything over $76,500+- gives you junk that doesn’t suit this vehicles purpose. Unnecessary options is where ludicrous profit lies. If you can afford it and want it fine, more power. But you increase neither the capabilities, performance nor durability. Making a minimally optioned base with lockers and aux switches a true bargain. The winch is the only exception but I’ve decided to wishfully wait for the aftermarket.

      @@SaltShackalso a very fair comment.

@@SaltShackyeah, I’m with you - either the Trialmaster or the base with the Rough Pack are the max on capability and durability. Anything over and above is just for fun. But you have to admit - it’s some kind of fun ;o)

Markups will kill the business before it has a chance and I would cancell my order. I will NEVER pay a mark up in the US. No RAM or Jeep any more! I'm all done with American products. The jumped the shark!

@JeepsOntheRun how would you describe the interior noise while driving on the highway compared with a JLU? Obviously both are not exactly quiet, but I'm curious if you found the Grenadier better or worse on the highway than a JL/modern Jeep. Thank you for the video!

I unfortunately didn't get as much time with it as I would have liked, so keep that in mind.
Also keep in mind, depending on the tires and top the comparable Jeep is equipped with with, also would make a difference.
I would say the interior noise was comparable, to slightly less than say a Rubicon with a more aggressive tire.
I know it's subjective, hope that helps.

It is not a BMW inspired shifter is is literally the BMW shifter to go with ZF power train and motor. INEOS chose to not reinvent the wheel but use best of breed components.

Yes, definitely a better way of stating it. If you look the 4x4 shift knob looks to be out of a ford.

What type of ground clearance does it have and what size tires?

    • @JeepsOnTheRun
      @JeepsOnTheRun  2 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

10.4 inches. Juuuuuust shy of a Rubicon Jeep.

      255 70 r18 on the fieldmaster

265 70 r/17 on anything you want. Steel or alloy. $600 eibach springs will clear 35’s but spare requires offset mounting bracket to clear doors. I’m going with 255 80 r17. OEM shocks and control arms. Easiest Cheapest thing I’ve ever done that could accommodate 35’s.
