This is like 25+ years ago but one time my Dad who used to play got fed up with the price hikes for the rhinos he needed for his chaos Space Marines so he decided to use cardboard to build the rhinos all from fruity pebbles cereal boxes. This was like early 2000s I believe possibly earlier than that so I don't have pics but he actually got it submitted into a tournament because the people working for GW inspecting for the tournaments were so impressed that they just allowed him to play with with tanks because it was actually pretty spot on and on the bottom you can see the fruity Pebble print lol
about Tamiya extra thin cement and airbrush cleaner. I bought Acetone and n-Butylacetate from a (1L each) and mixed them together. Now I have 2L of "Tamiya". You should be able to grab the second one from artists shops that also sell oil paints and their chemicals
The pressing panels might work if you had several and left them overnight rather than moving to the book. You could also press them out and stack several in ONE press, layered, under lighter pressure until fully cured.
Awesome build, keep doing these builds I love them. I do have a tip for cleaner and more consistent armor panels for scratch builds if anyone is interested. Use playing cards, cut them to fit and attach them as needed.
This one is great! You could always throw on some bits like space marine weapons/helmets lying around on it, and some other leftover crap that you can have from various boxes and sprues - just to hide the worst parts of the model. That could potentially make it unrecognizable.
Man love your videos. They have given me an idea to make a big stompy robot golem for my faction in Conquest. Will be using the sprue goo and bits that I have. It will look spectacular.
Tamiya is from Japan. If you have any nearby hobby shops that sell Gundam model kits from Bandai, they likely have Tamiya products to go with them because that's the preferred product for gunpla hobbyists.
I think it turned out great! I love sprue videos! :) Kinda sucks that the flour press didn't work. Do you still have your old rolling pin with the different sizes?
Kinda looks cartoony tank (Advance Wars) also fast production seam welds. You did make me think if pieces of Knex that are broken could be melted down in a goop with aceton to make 46 mm knex balls from 2 halfs with a silicon mold. (also i got a few plastic pieces that would make ideal victems for this idea).
I think you'd enjoy Turnip28 which encourages this sort of creativity, and the grimy, dirty, and rusted aesthetic it has would be ideal for sprue goo, all those little "imperfections" would add flavour

would be a fun thing to try and get this into an official tournament. you have the video as proof its 100% gw plastic :D

I was just wondering how I could grind up the GW sprues into filament and print from it. Still 'legal' 😂
Man, the fact that this is made from just spru is nuts

It looks like a 3D Van Gogh painting of a Repulsor Tank! Very cool!

I would love to see a full Warhammer battle between your sprue factions.

We're reaching Spruecreations that shouldn't be possible... Glorious!

Paintjob gave it a bit of the "Borderlands" heavy ink lines art style
Love the creativity and your positive attitude)
Every time we talk about Sprue Goo I think of Dr. Suess. Sprue Goo, Gooey Gooey Goo Goo.
I have been hammering sense the 90s. You are a master.
I love this channel!
Looks amazing! Id love to see you tackle something bigger like a seraptek heavy construct. I feel like it would turn out amazing
This is the best sprue video yet - IMHO - Amazing job

Ah yes, another vehicle operating in the wartorn world of Acidocia Secundus, the acid rain planet.
(Great work.)
Those half-circles look like daalek heads. From warhammer to Dr. Who.
Do a trench crusade with spures.
An airbrush paint job might hide sins better than speed paint
Absolutely masochistic. You must be 50% glue and sprue goo by now from all the exposure, like some batman villain
Would love to see more videos! Keep them coming!
love these sprue vids, i recently made some details out of spare sprues for a kitbash ive been working on
Unbelievable tekkers, mate!
That was really impressive. You reverse engineered that from pictures. NASA will be offering you a job any day now

Cool why not use balsa wood plastic carboard?
Crazy awesome job!
another fantastic sprue-build!

What a cracking build
Awesome work.
Thata class! Competition to win this? Obviously I should win though for suggesting it! 😂
This is getting uncanny, I feel like I won't tell it apart from a genuine one at first glance
Hello 🖖😊 excellente techniques et super résultats merci pour les partage 😉👌
Aw yeah this gon be good
YT Timing + mandatory training 🤦♂️ truly🧙♂️.
Should have oversized the panels and cut/sanded them down to get a better fit and finish
do a sprue elephant now
Good, now make a knight
Cool, I love your videos
Incredible and amazona job! I with i could have your patience😅
Not amazona but amazing yes 😂 i’m from Spain and my corrector is obviously in spanish language.
Can you make a rhino please
Friend, it's a lot of money because you don't use plastic sheets and cutting them is easier.
Amazing!!!
You are amazing
thats a repulspruesor

Thumbs down for misusing THAT book to flatten out your sprues... how dare you, good sir?!?
