- How to clean the bottom coils on a GE side by side. The model in this video is GSHF6HGDBCBB this procedure also works for most GE and Frigidaire models. The wand I used is Whirlpool P/N 8171579A with the last 3 inches cut off. Check out aabcorefrigeration.com for more helpful tips.
Thank You for explaining air flow through the compressor.... You see I had a friend clean it last year... So when I started to remove the fan it looked like the fan had been blowing air instead of sucking .... I plugged the frig back in and sure enough my friend had put the fan on backwards... I bet I went to 15 different videos before I found yours .... Thanks again.

Thx!! Is the back panel really cardboard? Mine is aluminum. Also, how long had it been since the last cleaning?
how about having a serrvice man clean coils, fan and compressor?
Could this cleaning improve that buzzing noise when cooling ?
Why is the fan spinning if it is unplugged? Mine is pretty hot on the rail btn fridge and freezer but rest is not hot and the inside is fine. I cleaned coils and all dust, but its still pretty hot on the divider rail. Not sure if I just never noticed but its def more than warm.
If the bottom fan is spinning at a decent speed when the compressor is running and the back cover is in place I would check for heat loads like if the switch for the door is letting the light stay on when the door is closed or if the door for the ice dispenser is stuck open that strip between the doors should be lukewarm not hot to the touch
Does this cleaning allow for the refrigerator to cook better?

Yes. I found some well cooked pizzas in it the next morning ;)
