  • 1:02 Forest Hill Connector Climb
    2:14 Fuel Break Climb
    3:00 Culvert Downhill Trail
    8:46 StoneWall Downhill Trail
    12:20 Rocky Downhill Trail
Auburn California is located approximately 30 minutes north of Sacramento on Interstate 80. The area is known for having gorgeous views of the American River, amazing hiking, biking, climbing and OHV areas.
Most people will park at the Kiosk area located here Old Foresthill Rd, Auburn, CA 95603. There is a $10 fee in order to park, and I recommend getting there early on the weekends as the area fills up.
If you don't want to pay the $10 fee, drive past the Kiosk and there are a few pull offs further up Old Forest Hill Road. I recommend parking here 38°55'21.5"N 121°00'47.0"W so you can access all the trails in the video easily.
We start by accessing Culvert by riding up Old Forest Hill Road for approximately 0.5 miles and jumping onto Forest Hill Connector which takes you to the bottom of Fuel Break. Continue up Fuel Break to access the top of Culvert. After completing Culvert you can ride down Mammoth Bar OHV Access Road. Approximately 0.25 miles down the access road, you will see signs for Stone Wall on your left. Climb the open fire road for about 0.5 miles and it will take you straight into Stonewall and subsequently rocky.
Leave a comment below, and let me know what more trails you would like to see. Thanks!

Lots of climbing for about half the trails. The downhill stuff around auburn makes it worth it though.

Dude there is a ton of great riding groups around here. DemoWorks does a great kids ride on Monday night in Granite Bay. We also do rides all around the area. MTB NorCal has big group rides. Come check out Dirt Daze @ the wheelhouse on May 8th. You’ll meet a ton of riders. 🤙

Make sure that when you process your footage in post production you set it all up in 4K. And process it out in 4k. Normally it takes a few days for 4k quality video to process after upload. If you don’t see it, certain phones / devices won’t show it. I can only see my own videos on TH-cam if I on my desktop.
