I wonder why American fixed gear rider favor GS's so much....I think even 3 layer tires like GP GT gave a good strength reserve, do they really need mesh sidewall enforcement...maybe all that hype for compound, same one used on much cheaper Ultrasports?

I have specialized s-works mondo tires, and they are very so tough to skid on compared to continental gator skins or 4seasons.
