- It has been 5 weeks since Ivory passed away. Giving you an update on how things are going dealing with the loss of Ivory and a new channel I am working on to give other people who are in the same boat a chance to share their story. I lost my sweet husband a couple years ago and the first year can be challenging to say the least.This year I’m starting to enjoy life once again.While I’ll always have an empty spot in my heart without him I now feel so blessed for the beautiful life we did have together and it is always front and center and puts a smile on my face. Instead of feeling the loss I am now feel gratitude for those times we had shared together .What an absolute blessing you have been to Ivory having been there for her with devotion and love. You gave her such peace of heart knowing that her children will be in safe hands and will thrive with you and you with them. I think your channel will be such A tremendous support to so many living with cancer.What an Awesome Tribute to your beautiful wife’s legacy. Sending you and family 💞n 🙏🏻

I know your pain my lady died May 11 from cancer too. The worse time for me is when I am alone too

I think this is wonderful that you are starting the new channel to help others suffering with this dreadful disease. I'm curious if this is something you and Ivory discussed before she passed? I'm sure she is smiling down on you and the kids. Your anniversary is on my birthday so I will always be thinking of you both on the day. I'm reminded of a saying that "it is better to have loved and lost than to never have loved at all". While it is beyond sad that she was taken so young at least the two of you found love and were there for each other and you are there to carry on with the kids. Prayers and love to you all.

Hi Tom, it's so hard to talk about your loved after God takes them home. I know a public figure who lost his wife on 2/21/23 and he copes by writing her a letter each morning and post it to his Facebook page. Have you thought about making yourself a journal about what you are feeling? You could just write and keep it private so you can look back at things you write. We lost my brother in law on 2/23/23 and ot still hasn't processed fully. He had esophageal for 2 years. He and my sister were child hood sweethearts together 51 yrs, married a little over 45 yrs. Prayers, hugs, and much love to you and your family. ❤

I'm sorry for your loss and pain. It's something I found I had to turn into positive for others to process by carrying their causes forward. Found a bit more peace that way. 🕊
I am so very sorry for your loss. We parents never expect to have a child die before us. It seems so very unfair. You will always miss him, but I hope you can find some comfort in the memories you had the chance to make with him while you could.

Sending hugs and love!! Grief never goes away! You always miss the person you lost, but you learn to live and adjust! Also your kids will get strength from you and are watching how you cope. Your kids will learn from you in how to handle grief. I think you are doing a great job! A channel for people battling cancer, them or a loved one, is a great idea.

God bless you as you receive Ivory's ashes so close to your Wedding Anniversary. May your sadness be turned to joy as the sad memories are replaced with beautiful memories. Your family is in my thoughts and prayers. I was diagnosed with AML Acute Myloid Leukemia. Cancer can take your mind to very dark places. Stay positive and try to stay active. God be with all of you.
what a wonderful idea to help other people with a new Channel, it will help and keep you busy. Things will get better for you and the kids, it takes time for you guys to heal . We kept some of the ashes of my mom and put it in a nice little chinese vessel and placed it in the livingroom with a candle next to it,so she is allways home. It is not permitted in Germany but who cares. We talked to the Undertaker and they had no problem to give us some ashes before they buried the rest in the grave. Some might think it's greepy,but for us it's a great comfort. I wonder how the law is in the netherlands . Keep going day by day and best wishes from " the neighborhood Germany "

It's very upsetting the all over the world governments not committing to cure cancer, they spend money to war stuff, it's upsetting lots of people loosing their life.

There is an afterlife.✨I had a death experience and I saw Heaven, and it is the most beautiful extravagant Majestic place.✨ There are mansions, and a huge banquet table that stretches from one end of Heaven to the other end, with the most delicious scrumptious foods, and everybody was having fun and being happy. Beautiful mansions and jewels everywhere. She is in Bliss.✨

On your cancer channel could you possibly talk about the cancer treatments going on in your country. Also the hospice setting Ivory was in. It sounded like the people working there were very nice.

I admire your kind nature and the fact that you want to help others. Cancer is everywhere. I lost my mom to cancer, and two younger sisters as well. All the cancers were different, so it doesn't run in the family. So, yes, there is a need for support for those persons who are struggling to cope with a dying family member or friend or are grieving. Just be very careful on the type of help you provide. You will have no way of knowing if those seeking financial help are telling the truth about having cancer. Some of those lying scammers have collected money from innocent donors and they have gotten away with thousands of dollars before getting caught years later, when they do get caught. You could fall into their trap, especially because you are in a vulnerable state right now. If you promote their cause that might end up hurting those of us who trust you, and we could end up being victims of those scammers.
@R Celeste Felix…Absolutely agree with all you’ve said. Be careful Tom, I can tell you’re an intelligent man but you’re very vulnerable right now and there are lots of wicked people around always looking for something to make easy money by scamming other people. It’s okay to establish another cancer channel but your effort and time should be more spent healing your self, Zuri and Kyle.

The 1st anniversary’s are always really tough, but in time heading I let’s name, won’t give you the pain in your heart. ❤ Instead Ivory’s beautiful name and memory’s will bring a smile to your eyes again. Zuri is a beautiful girl, very like her Mother. 🩷 It’s such a difficult age to lose your Mummy, but I’m glad she’s keeping busy and she will be making her Mum proud, from heaven. Kyle too, she will be so proud of him too, watching over him.

I wish you could reach out to Kyle Appleford. His wife Jenny 35 was diagnosed with exactly what Ivory had, 2 years ago. She has a daughter Winnie 4 and son Ellis 8. Last week she was given 6 to 9 months to live more or less. They are both so distraught as I am sure you were. It is amazing that your son's name is Kyle, just like Jenny's husband Kyle.
