Ever looked inside one? There a certain challenges that are specific to Air rifles... it'll have issues over time If its anything like the Aliexpress one I did a 40min teardown on. The internal battery is soldered - once it dies your chrony is dead. It has very flimsy wiring & isnt secured in place - it'll move over time & the wires will break. It was much less accurate & couldnt register a difference between 1,000 & 1,005fps (we're ~0.2fps @ 1,000fps), we're calibrated from certified master chronographs & within 1fps @ 1,000fps, we dont have an app - the other one required you to download an uncertified program from a Chinese server. We can work on any rifle (custom adapters) & go up to 45-50cal. We went with external power to keep the weight down (olympic target pistols), use your phone for power, & you'll never need to come back to us for a proprietary battery replacement. Just grab a cheap one locally.
What software? - Everything is 100% contained within the Chronograph - if i cease to exist nothing will change except for additional features & improvements. There's no app, no internet required, nothing - just your device & the Chronograph. It also doesn't have a fragile screen that can break, no internal/proprietary battery that can die - never needs to be replaced by a manufacturer, & we've spent a huge amount of time on the design & processes so should last a heck of a long time.
Web sites, apps, devices, wi-fi, external power, ..I don't want to do all that stuff and if it needs it all to work and show me a result, then it's only half a chronograph, so not for me.
There's no apps or web sites - the Chronograph provides everything. External power means there's no proprietary battery that you need to get from us when it eventually dies, it also keeps the cost & also the weight down - perfect for things like Olympic target pistols. Same for using a phone/tablet - why add a tiny fragile screen to a device when everyone has the best screen available in their pocket? Thats also more parts that can fail over time - the minimal approach makes it cheaper & more durable.
@@NateChrony. Maybe you should watch the video again to see what's been said. Straight after watching this, I watched a review of an aluminium bodied one, screws on like yours, internal rechargeable battery and flippable display on the side. Turn it on, enter your pellet weight, fire and look at the reading, with nothing else attached. The issue I have with that one is fitting it to a springer. Oh, and it's £76! I'm not trying to slate your product Nate, just giving you reasons why it's not for me. Mk.3?!
@@martynridley3671 Marty I understand, but i'm the one that makes the product. There are no apps. There is no "internet" web site (no internet required), there is a web page - which is served directly from the Chrony itself - it uses your devices web browser to get data directly off the Chrony. LiPO batteries start to degrade after 300-500 cycles, if they go flat they are dead. You then have to go to the manufacturer to get it replaced - watch my 40min teardown vid on a similar device, which was loose in the device & had insanely thin wires which quickly broke. With an external battery - zero weight & anyone can get a replacement incredibly cheap till the end of time. We sell loads of these that are used on springers (our adapters can handle 100kg) - BUT with any muzzle mounted device clean air is critical, dirty oily smokey springers will cause grief to any muzzle mounted chrono. Every NateChrony is live-shot calibrated against a certified master chronograph - they're not punched out of a factory with questionable workplace ethics, so they wont be rock bottom prices.

You missed the Ah, you can't be the count from sesame street without the Ah 😊
2 Ah Ah 😂

What happens if the company closes down? You'd have no access to the software make your £100 worthless
It wont work on an S510 or FT500.
why is that?
@@NateChrony.I'm guessing he's saying that as the HFT 500 has an air stripper wedged on to the end of the barrel
@@kevinedge9824 Adapters that Andy showed would slide straight onto it. We've got got ~20 custom adapters from popular models - under levers, cutouts, olympic pistols - all sorts available.
@ There is no provision for a threaded adapter and the actual barrel is only 10 mm diameter.
@@keithnorman3519 If its not threaded - than a variable adapter or custom adapter is used. If I dont currently have an adapter for something specific reach out & it'll get done in a few days. Typically I need a photo & some measurements.
25mm adapters now go all the way down to 8mm.
I feel asleep through the video. No joke, chronographs are not that exciting.
FX Chrono is unbearable in every department.
Radar is really hard due to the underlying physics involved, that's why we went with the muzzle mounted approach for AirGuns - its just the best method for detection.
lost me at 4.15. . !!!!
Its the fastest to get up & runni g: put on rifle, connect to power (usb), join wifi, open link
I like this bit of kit top notch to see new kit about Andy an team ﹰﹰAAR"! So how much is top bit of kit..???😊 please thanks ANDY. Ps hope you all have a grate time over the wkend .😊
