Same for all other local streets and town that end in “mouth” (ie Weymouth). - there is no “Little Italy” here - it’s all just called “The North End.” Some locals might respond “in NYC” if you ask where “Little Italy” is 😂 - if you want a food hall I’d recommend Time Out Market over Quincy Market. It has a lot of really great options!
Kanes donuts,blackbird donuts, James hooks and co. and parkers are also awesome for food too. Parker house has original boston cream pie. James hooks is known for their lobster and chowdah.

An unknown gem is the mapparium at the Christian Science monitor. Stain glass globe large enough to walk inside. Located between prudential centre and symphony hall Well done. Love how you didn’t just go to Mike’s pastry. North end is much more than one shop!!

Quincy Market is kind of a tourist trap -- not terrible, but I'm sure you could get better chowder at some independent restaurant.

They're both great. I just prefer Modern because they're more compact and are very traditional :)
