    With electric #FordMustang Mach E heading the dealers any day now, the #MustangBullitt will be the version of Ford's #PonyCar that will feel like a throwback to the golden days of the 60's muscle cars. Although 2020 will be the last year of the #Bullitt in this current #S550 generation, for 2021 Ford will replace it with the #MustangMach1, which will be a more track capable version with the same 5.0L N/A V8 making 480 HP.

    Happy Monday guys! Just wanted to clarify something, the Bullitt Mustang will be replaced in 2021 by the Mustang MACH 1, NOT the Mach E. The Mach E is the all-electric version heading the dealers this month while the Mach 1 uses the same 5.0L N/A V8 with 480 HP. Just goes to show you Ford's naming can get a little too similar at times! Sorry for the confusion! Also, we filmed this video back in August and are playing a little catch up with some older reviews in the queue.

      I love LOVE LOVE my 2019. There's no difference in 2019/2020 I think, I picked up my 2019 in Feb 2020 for a discount and even during covid this has been a beast of a daily driver, as well as impressed me on a track in OH. Getting ready to put my winter tires on this week and go through the winter!
      Also, mileage-wise, after quarantine I've been getting 18-20mpg on my commute to work and on an OH-GA and OH-ND roadtrips, I've gotten 26-28.5mpg, not too shabby for a 5L!!

      Glad you jumped in with that. I was about to straighten you out about the Mach 1 being the Bullitt engine's new home, of course not the all- electric Mach E. Then again I heard the 480 hp Mach 1 engine is not identical to the Bullitt's. The Mach 1 uses other parts to net its 480hp. What can you say about that?

My coworker Tamim got to drive it up on the lift, making sure to give it some nice revs. Recorded it for his son. Was genuinely an inspiration to me. It seems like an obtainable goal worth working towards. Ofc it will require hard work, but i want to up my mechanics degree (when i get it) to an engineers and want to work offshore.

    I just LOVE my Bullitt. Every time I start it and go for a drive is an occasion. Even going to get milk puts a stupid smile on my face. Never gets old... Something about it comes together amazingly, the sound, the power, the manual transmission, the styling all of these make it special in a way that it's even better than the sum of these parts.

      The Bullitt is the total package for a fun daily driver that’s got a different look from all other Mustangs. The unique color, the wheels, quad tips and the exhaust note when accelerating combine for a terrific driver’s car. The white cue ball shifter and transmission works well too. Overall this car will give a great experience!

    You’ll love the GT350. It’s the true driver car of the line up. The GT500 is nice but the GT350 just feels special. You can tell after you drive it for the 1st 100 feet.

    • @rembo183
      @rembo183 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The GT 350 is a great track car but I’ll take this Bullitt ; which is designed primarily as a daily driver not a track beast. It’s more comfortable and easier to live on long trips. With the Bullitt you get the latest tech like the digital dash and auto rev matching and a great sounding exhaust too. The Mach1 will essentially combine the features of the Bullitt with some of the GT350 for an interesting hybrid. For me, this hybrid is not that attractive or exciting especially for more money. The Mach 1 has the same power as the Bullitt but supposedly will handle better. The track version ionic has the handling pa Kate will,be track focused and most likely will handle better but again the you give up the comfort and understated look for a this new styling. The Mach 1 is trying too hard to be too many things. The Bullitt is simple and straight forward and delivers a great mix of power and cool styling.

      @@rembo183 hey Joe, great to read your reply. I have driven the GT350 for hours and it’s a fairly competent daily driver. The magnaride really does make it very liveable. If you leave the dampers in normal, it makes light works of these Detroit roads (which can be pretty harsh). I agree with you, that the Mach 1 has limited appeal, for me. I’m all about the Shelby. It’s a special car. When I worked for Audi, someone traded out of their GT3RS for a used GT350R we had on the lot. That’s staying power! Its j ust a cut about the bullitt and the mach1, in my opinion. I have a 19 GT PP1. The very next mustang I buy will be that 350.

      @rembo183 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@blackdot1128 - You have a great daily in your 19 GT already so are you thinking of trading for a GT350 as a daily or just getting the 350 new as a second car. Ford stopped making them so you better act fast. for a new one or you could wait a couple of years for depreciation and get a nice 2019 used. However I would prefer a new 2020 with the factory warranty with this car. It’s got more expensive higher performance parts then our 19 GT’s. Anyway you’ve got a pretty nice car already. These R cars are expensive. There’s a new one here for sale for $78k. The GT350R is a truly special car but $78k is a bit high when you can get anew Bullitt in the mid to high 40’s new or a low mileage used one for $42-44 from Carmax. 👍🏻😊

    I've picked my 2019 up in Feb 2020. It has been an AMAZING daily driver and I've taken it to a track once, where it's done wonderfully even in stock settings. I'm getting ready to put winter tires on mine for my OH daily driving. No way I'm garaging this thing over winter, the cold starts with the exhaust in track mode are the only soundtrack I ever need!

      @@calebbomar1395 We do and we don't, I'm SW OH, so fairly mild-ish. We had our first snow last week, lasted about a day, since then it's been low 40s, low 30s. I keep getting asked this question. To me, I get my joy out of a daily drive, out of every time I get inside this. My wife and I have 2 total vehicles, so I don't really have a choice in not driving this, either. To me an idea of a $2k-3k beater for the winter, in which I won't enjoy the drive, isn't worth it. I feel I'd always think "oh I wish I was in my Bullit." I get some get it to be a collectible or whatever, but I wanna drive the heck out of it
      Plus, dedicated set of good winter tires, I reckon I'll do vastly better than AWD SUVs with half the tread life left on their all-seasons. :)

    The Ford Mustang gives you an idea on how electric and old school cars like this will be able to co-exist. To be able to live under emission caps, they have made the Mustang into a premium product, decreasing sales, increasing revenue and keeping the brand alive, actually making it more exclusive. Same way a mechanical watch became a premium product to co-exist with a Casio. People will be able to buy a naturally aspirated 5L engine but they'll have to pay more for it.
