I had low Papp a, had regular growth scans and was induced on my due date after a growth scan at 39 weeks and concerns on placenta function. It wasn’t how I expected but it was such a wonderful experience honestly I couldn’t have asked for a better birth and he was born completely healthy. Good luck with birth hope covid have too much of an impact on your experience xx
So I'm 18 weeks, having a baby girl, found out I have low PAPP-A levels, my overthinking brain immediately equated it with everything awful. Seeing all these positive comments have really perked me up. Thank you for this video!
@@user-rp8ut6nd3m My baby girl was born at 36 weeks weighing 5.2lbs. She was a small preemie baby but she was born healthy with no issues other than a little jaundice, which is common for preemies. She is 5 months now and thriving. ❤️ She actually now weighs more than she's supposed to lol. I wouldn't worry.
@@user-rp8ut6nd3m Well, I have chronic high blood pressure and type 2 diabetes so I was on low dose aspirin. They never really commented on my placenta after telling me the news. It must have not been that serious for them.
@@sarahtara943 The rest of my pregnancy was difficult, but for completely different reasons. But my baby is doing great! She is almost 11 months and I’m pretty sure she’s gonna start walking soon. She’s a very active and happy baby.
Love watching your updates and having someone going through similar things at the same time! I also have low Papp-a and had to go for a growth scan after measuring small at 28 weeks... baby boy was measuring on the big side haha! Happy it’s all going well for you ☺️ think I’m going to pack my hospital bags in the next week or so as I’m nearly 31 weeks. Looking forward to your next videos!
Re taking your iron supplements in pregnancy is so so important. It's expected that a woman will lose blood during delivery, so if she's already anaemic, she won't compensate as well! So we are trying to boost you for that reason too :)
You look gorgeous and glowing Lucie 💕 that dress is so beautiful. Such a cute bump too. As someone who has been through a ruptured eptopic pregnancy and multiple miscarriages, this just warms my heart 💕 xxx
I had iron deficiency in my recent pregnancy but it was fine after I started taking the supplement - had it re checked towards the end and was fine. I was also exhausted towards the end of pregnancy - I was more tired then than I am with my new baby! You are looking gorgeous Lucy - so excited for you x
You have such a cute bump! 😍 I’m 33 weeks today and our little man is also measuring on the smaller side - got another growth scan next week so hopefully he’s still on track 🤞🏻. Just can’t wait to meet him now! Not too long to go for both of us 💞
In Scotland the restrictions around scans and birth partners have all been lifted. You’re allowed two birth partners and someone to accompany you to scans so hopefully England isn’t far behind for you! xx
Hopefully! It was as of last Monday! Don’t think it’s fair really that people can go sit in pubs and restaurants and you have to go to scans alone! So hopefully they amend it in a few weeks 😊❤️
Hi, only just discovered you! Great timing, as I'm 17 weeks pg, after 9 miscarriages, I have had to see Mr shehata as my nk cells were highly aggressive, I've had all of the correct meds now so we are much further on than ever before. Very excited but I also have low papp a , trying not to freak out! I am surprisingly calm but any info is certainly helping do thank you 😊 xxx
Love watching your videos, your dress is beautiful 💕 i am 17 weeks today but have had sciatica problem last couple of weeks, thankyou for the recommendations on easing this. Xxx
Loved this video! I'm 30 weeks tomorrow so just behind you 🙂 Would love to see what you're putting in your hospital bag - we're planning a home water birth but I'll pack a 'birth bag' so everything's in 1 place, and we can take it with us if we need to transfer....but I haven't even bought a bag to put anything in yet!
Wow can’t believe you’re nearly 31 weeks already, that’s gone by so fast! Glad the scan was all okay xx ps love your dress and the bump looks lovely ❤️😍xx
You have got the cutest bump! Could you answer a question in your next video? Have you had any embarrassing or tmi symptoms (like lots of gas/farting) during your pregnancy?
Thanks for recommending the iron supplement - I was so ill on the tablets!!!! Been taking an over the counter one but off to buy the one you recommended - I don’t know if it’s second pregnancy in general being harder but really struggling with this one too!!! Xx
I’m 30 very small baby 3rd centile his legs bit short too x , my iron keeps dropping even though my dose iron been upped 3 times ! I’m so worried they postpone my section if I don’t get it under control
i’m 13 weeks & 6 days and i’m just finding out im a little papp-a. this is my 3rd pregnancy & my other where healthy . can somebody please explain this to me? i’m looking up things & everything i see online isn’t good .
Wooow! I'm in Australia and the restrictions are nowhere near as bad. You can have two birth partners, no masks, midwives app are normal, etc. That sounds awful - I hope things ease up by the time you give birth! 😞
I have low Papp-a too. Are you taking aspirin for it? My growth scans are beginning from 26, 30, 34 and 36 then I’ll be induced at 37 weeks - I have other complications so double high risk 🙈 x
Sorry to jump on your comment but I had low Papp a, took aspirin and was induced on my due date, induction was fine, I had an epidural and delivered a perfectly healthy baby without additional interventions. I remember feeling so worried about his health and that induction would be traumatic but it was honestly a happy experience. Good luck with birth you’ll be amazing ❤️
@@becks8341 - Did you take NIPT and Ammeoscenteses tests by any chance .. was your papp-a levels are low from the 12 th month? Mine is low so I’m very worried 😟

With iron tablets you need to take them 2 hours after eating. They usually helps.

Mam papp A is 0.22 how to increase it mam
My doctor prescribed taking baby aspirin.
Strong beautiful lady
Ive read that low papp a test is also an indication that the baby will most likely be a boy. 🤔 😆
Interesting! I am currently low PAPP-A for my second pregnancy and sure enough we are having a boy!
my pappa A was 0.1 n had a girl at 35wks
Awesome. Love 💕.
