I wore a pocket square to a work party last year. I thought that was nothing special about that having a pocket square but my co-works were surprised that I did have one.
Wear jackets so you can wear the pocketsquere.
I do think the linnen: grey, brown & blue. Non sallad 🥗 pattern inspired are a bit to rear. I usualy wear those colores.
I think the pocketsquere is very underrated, because it can sort of bring all your clodes together, and add some interest, without being overly matched. Think it both elevate the style level and add some understated playfullness.
I live in Texas and don't wear my blazers as much as I'd like, but when I do I delight in getting to select a square to go with my outfit.

I love how you took off your tie by reversing the steps to knot it instead of just yanking it thru the knot. I see guys do that and I think...that tie is not long for this world.

The lining of the chest pocket of one of my two suits looks quite good and can be pulled out to look like a square. I have never worn a square, but I do like the look. M.
It's always about the compliments on these kind of YT videos but I don't dress up for the attention. I just do it because I enjoy it. It's for me, not for you. And in my country noone ever gives you a compliment so it doesn't matter anyway. I wear a tie to a job where my collegues wear tshirts so it's not like I have to, I just enjoy looking good and it's a hobby.
I feel silly without a pocket square. Even if I have no tie on, a pocket square makes the outfit that much more pleasant..

I wear a pocket square most of the time.It’s elegant and stylish.
I do wish producers of pocket squares would leave off their labels or sew their labels less closely onto the fabric of the square. The stuff version can sometimes move around during wear and end up showing the label, above the breast pocket, so I’ve taken to removing the label, but it isn’t always easy to detach. If a pocket handkerchief for blowing your noise has no label, why do manufacturers insist on putting them on pocket squares?

One trick I like to use is to use either an index card or a napkin to keep the pocket square from falling in or losing the 3d effect

I keep my handkerchief in that pocket. Especially useful while driving or sitting when access to a trouser pocket is awkward. I never have any colour other than white.
I agree, a pocket square works best if it adds a touch of nonchalance to your outfit. You want to appear tidy but not as someone who spent half an hour just to stuff a piece of cloth into his pocket.
I don’t usually wear a pocket square, except for special occasions. I try to keep everything minimal.

I always wear minimum a white square, but much prefer something with pattern and some depth of colors and texture!

What do you recommend when the pocket square keeps falling inside the pocket? That is, the breast pocket seems too deep for the square and the square soon disappears in the pocket. How do you prevent that?
Use bigger squares. There are two sizes you can buy. Also, cotton or wool squares don’t fall down as easily as silk.
@@russ9921 When I buy squares, there's only one size. I prefer silk but have used cotton, too. The problem is the same; if the pocket is deeper than the square, it slides down. I've heard some people putting tape on the square (or pocket) to keep it in place.
I always wear pocket squares every time I wear a jacket too. Sometimes I think I might have lost my pocket square only to find them in my jacket in the closet
