Hi! I am pleased to see you tonight. I don’t read banned books - I listen to banned books while I knit, sitting in my recliner, under a quilt and a cuppa near my elbow. I’m working on a vest in a very pale blue, fingering held double. Can’t or won’t share the pattern because it is poorly written and confusing. I’m flying solo on my own. Enjoy that donut, I’m turning off my light and going to bed. It’s after midnight here and I’ll join you again tomorrow. 🧶♥️🧶
Your mkal looks fab and it made me chuckle that you had such a good match for all your colours in your stash. I'd definitely walk more if there was somewhere like that to go near me. Stunning!! We had our covid booster on friday and it's been a weekend of painkillers and naps and not a lot else.
Yes, your colours for the MKAL are definitely retro 😊. The more I knit on the MKAL, the more I'm certain that Stephen was influenced by macrame from the 70's...when every household had some kind of macrame as decor, and we all tried our hand at it 😀
i would really love to watch your podcast, but I am currently indisposed - on account of my being swallowed whole by a plush 70s chesterfield sofa, that i intrepidly sat on, back in the 80s. Still trying to find my way out. thankfully, I have been sustained by three decades-worth of crumbs, buried in the recesses and seams of the fabric.
I really like your blanket colours. I've lived a non-English speaking European country for a long time and it was nice to hear the word chesterfield out of the blue. Do you read books that are currently banned or ones that have been banned at some time or other?
