Enjoying your videos on hot shot trucking! I'm not a hot shotter, probably never will be. Supporting your efforts to monetize this channel! I would like to see you talk more about how you manage your clock (on the job time, drive time, breaks, down time, personal time, personal use of the vehicle when your not on the job, but have a load, etc., and about how your clock app works (does it know when your truck is moving, for instance?)) I also appreciate your desire to represent godly biblical characteristics in your videos!! It's fresh to watch a hot shot vlog that doesn't have cursing and otherwise worldly attitudes! Stay with it!!
Happy Birthday to your son, seems to me he has a great father. My son would have been 32 last week, he passed age 29. Even though I miss him a lot I focus on all the moments he and I shared together. I like your videos for a few reasons, you come across as a good man. That and I've always loved trucks, trailers and hauling things. I never really thought about making a living driving. I've been doing masonry since i was a kid working with my father, for some reason I think hauling things all over would suit me. Keep up the good work!
All I try to do is be more like Christ! Sorry to hear about the passing of your son. That’s all we can do is reflect on the precious memories we have with our loved ones. You can make a good living off of trucking just have to have a plan and do your research

Yeah you can just use the load board for loads. It will be difficult finding loads just starting out but you will have to continue calling different brokers
I have been researching the cargo van, box truck and hot shot non cdl business since January 2024 so far you explained the process clearly than the other I am in Texas what your advice about getting in the business now .
@@MTAONEof1ur First I want to say great job on doing your research first! I would say that if this is something that you want to do go ahead and go all in. Texas is a good state for loads but the only thing is there are a lot of people in the business in Texas which makes it a little more competitive. From my experience, Texas has a lot of cheap freight due to the increase of people in the business so I would partner with brokers that have freight that is worth it. Parcels 📦 is key in this business and your first few months will be the most challenging but keep pushing. For you, I would look into seeing if you want to be owner operator or leased on.
