GM reserves that engine for Buick and Cadillac. They need to either make it an option on the Denali and/or AT4 trim. I will not buy the Envision because it is made in China. It happens on most GM vehicles from what I've seen (Trucks, SUVs, etc.). There's even tow truck haulers on YT here that do videos where they talk about the number of GM vehicles they tow every month to the dealer for this exact issue. Until I know they've resolved the issue, I wont be buying a GM product. For them (General Motors) to let it go on for so long, stranding their customers is pretty pathetic. The SLE/SLT equivalent trims (Elevation or whatever) should have had the 1.5 turbo with the AT4 and Denali getting a better powertrain than that. Coming in with 175hp approaching $40k is just kind of sad. Not to mention will get much worse fuel economy than something like a similarly priced CR-V hybrid while ALSO having much less power to boot. The sweet-spot in the outgoing Terrain was when they offered the 2.0L turbo. Sounds like that won't be available this time around... 🙄

I have a 2024 Terrain Denali which I love. However, I hate the new tablet display on the 2025. GM has given up actually designing attractive dashes and is just sticking in huge computer screens instead. 2025 Buicks and Cadillacs also have terribly over sized screens. At least on the 2025 Chevy Equinox the digital screens are molded into the dash and not just stuck in place.

If you're going to do contrast stitching, you better make sure the stitching lines up nicely. Some of those stitches were rough.

Put the diesel and add a hybrid on every midsize truck and suv, add a rear locker, and there's your recipe for huge sales. You've created a go anywhere torque monster that's great on fuel.

Wider yes but not longer according to GM (unless the 2026 Denali Trim has different dimension specs compared to the 2025 Elevation which loses 2 inches of length compared to all 2024 Terrains trims).

Oh. If that’s the best looking version of the Terrain .. that’s more of a shame than a modest powered drivetrain. How does GMC justify such an unattractive vehicle for the Denali product line? This is no time to test the Aztec concept ..

They could have done something different with the instrument cluster on these new GM vehicles. Along with the Canyon and Acadia, it looks like the cluster was an afterthought. You have a big hole and they just stuck a tablet in there. I would rather see the entire opening with a digital cluster integrated into the opening.

That engine looks tiny. They certainly have room to put in something bigger. It’s almost as if they weren’t planning on having a gas model at all so they didn’t put any thought into the powertrain.

We have a 2019 GMC Terrain Denali with the 2.0 t, we absolutely love it. I have to say I like the looks of the new Terrain. I’m not sure about a silver roof on black, the different coloured A pillars really throw me off, maybe in person it looks better. Screen orientation is cool and a nice interior. As for double screens in vehicles, I’m still getting use to 2 screens. I drove a 2005 Kia spectra up till last year, putting over 330 000 kms on it, then we purchase the Terrain used

I don't mind the light over the front wheel well, but the back one is useless, and I think confusing to drivers next to them. Having it built into the rear light is better IMHO. Oh, and I'm guessing GMC went with blinking brake lights - again.
