- Capsulolabral repair (Bankart repair) is proposed in the case of recurrent anterior subluxations and luxations to restore shoulder stability enabling a return to the same level of sports activity as before. This procedure is carried out arthroscopically, a minimally invasive technique, and is generally proposed in the absence of off-track bone damage to the head of the humerus or the scapula in patients that do not play contact or throwing sports.
Excellent graphics and description, thank you!
i cant lift my right arm above 90 degrees anymore and im wondering what surgery the doctor will recommend
very interesting. Would you please just clarify how the surgeons distinct to do Bankart procedures or Latarjet or RSA?
I need this
Sadly
I got it done almost two weeks ago. So far not to bad! Being in a brace sucks but pain for me was less then the actual dislocations I would have. If you have frequent dislocations that get in the way of life goal then I’d say get it done as soon as you can!
@@damiangarcia2395 how many times where you dislocating your shoulder on average? How are you doing now
@@mohamedduale6759 I dislocated it at least once a year for six years. I’m barley 4 weeks out from surgery but pain is not to bad.
@@damiangarcia2395I have dislocations daily even sometimes when I’m sleeping
@@lambojay8846 you need surgery
I got a question. How much force is required to damage the shoulder if the shoulder is in a sleeve after a capsular shift? Is it possible to make it an inferior laxative if I continuously touch the shoulder. It makes me worried that ive touched the shoulder ''too much'' and not enabling it to heal properly.
I'm 2weeks post op after a capsule plastic shoulder surgery.
How long it take to heal and back to move the shoulder??
I had this surgery on August 1st 2021. I am now in week 9 of recovery and I can move my arm about 120 degrees forward, 90 degrees sideways. External rotation is still tricky - I get to perhaps 20 degree. But it's getting better each day, incrementally. I hope to be back to normal movement 3-4 months after surgery.
@@thomaszacharias222 How is it going your recovery?
@@thomaszacharias222 how’s it going so far ?
What was the problem you had? Was your shoulder coming out of the socket when doing actions like swimming or throwing a ball with some considerable force?
Any updates on how it is going right now after the surgery?
I dislocated my shoulder, now it is somewhat instable. I would like to know too how it’s going after your surgery.
Where is the humerous head in this video 🤔
So this surgery is done by dislocating the humerous head and keeping it away from the socket?
That's not shown here
I am from Somalia, I want to meet you because I have a shoulder dislocation, please tell me how to meet you.
