He knows that if/when Batman kills him, it'll show that Batman is just as crazy as he is. Heath got all of that perfectly. I don’t see a lot of people talking about 1:53. Honestly it’s one of the scenes that scared me the most about the Joker when I was a kid, his transition from being almost playful to downright terrifying is one of the reasons he’s my favourite villain of all time

Mark Hamill is the best Joker. The character was meant to be animated, and he simply has the best laugh.
