Thank you. Lots of people trying to make something extra during this scary pandemic. If I can help to inspire someone to start their own company it would be a pleasure.
bringing back good memories did scrap collecting for years in and around manchester ,stopped when they brought in all the new regulations in and the price hit the floor, 40 quid a tonne, had waste carriers license and what was called then hire and reward extra on your insurance ,combi boilers luv em,
No you cant pick up business waste and take to you local tip. We take them to waste transfer stations for a fee. If you separate the rubbish wood, general, hardcore ect, It can save you more money.
Hello mate keep up the vids bruva I love them lol I’m a bricklayer from Sussex and have watched all your vids over this week as I’ve been off and I’ve subed also mate hope you keep smashing the scrap runs geez top man

Yea you can mate. Not very easy to get started but separating all your metals can be worth while. You may have to do more trips to the scrap yard because of space.
Hi Gary, just subscribed. Great channel, love the content, your delivery is perfect and very informative. Shout out to Archie, he’s a bright lad. Onwards and upwards! Cheers Ron
Nothing good with being wet and cold. I have trade insurance as am mobile mechanic and have lybilty insurance. I carry many things in the back of the motor. It's better to have than not have I do work on customer's car's somtimes they will ask to see your insurance. I move metals normally car parts. Old engine's and parts brake discs am aloud to scrap car's one a month. My insurance cover me to drive any vehicle. To the value of 30 thousand pounds. Tbf it's not so bad as long as I get the work to pay it. Keep on scrapping
Interesting video, where did you tip the rubbish? You only showed half the journey. I'm interested in starting this and your help us really great. I would like to see the full journey, like getting the job, how you quote for the job, how you do it and how and where you dispose of the waste. This would be interesting content. Thanks and stay safe.
I dispose of waste at Licenced waste transfer stations. You can search on google for local stations in your own area. As for getting the job, Most comes from Facebook and word of mouth. And I usually quote online, unless it a big job. Then I use the method I previously uploaded on my page
Hello mate I got told I can scrap where every I like on my waste and scrap license (Medway) but I can’t sale my scrap to let’s say swale scrap yards I can only sale to medway scrap yards .
Maybe you should check it . As I was going into lkm when the police with the licensing agency pulled me over and told me I could get a fine for coming to swale when I only have a Medway scrap license . .
Can you do a video explaining the paperwork you do for waste removals please? I've got myself a waste carriers license and go to a recycle centre for jobs but they never ask for paperwork, they just ask to see my license and quote me on each job etc. Loving the channel, keep the videos coming, really good content! :)
Great content Gary glad ya business has taken off well but is it better than the buses lol haha look forward to seeing ya videos in the future give us a shout out from ya old school buddy Ben Chapman
Hi mate, been watching your videos and enjoying them. I’m from Yorkshire and looking at doing it myself. Would you be able to head me in the right direction of things I need to get regarding the waste side of things. Waste transfer notes etc. Cheers👍
I cant actually remember mate it was so long ago. It was a UK based company, they also sold Skip nets ect. I will try and dig out some paperwork and let you know
Yes haulage is what they told me. Hire and reward is more aimed at people delivering other people's items. Kind of like a courier driver. That's my understanding and what was relayed to me by my insurance company
So to do it legally it's going to cost you a few quid to start. But as you say you have to cover yourself or it's going to cost you more if you don't 😉 Good video brother 🍻👍🏻
Hi I'm ian just been follow you past few weeks I'm from belfast northern Ireland how is your scrap prices so high, I got paid £40 quid for 700 kilos I'm new to this and lost ....help
That's a real shame pal. Unfortunately each scrap yard has its own prices. Try ringing around a few different ones to compare. It all depends on what is happening in the current market.
just found your videos happy to see a uk scrapper on here just like to ask one thing as im not sure so fort i ask how comes in alot of your videos you both don't wear seat belts when your on the way to the scrap yard ect don't mean that in a bad way but just wanted to ask you ?
I’d love to see a video about investment within your business. If you had £20k - how would you invest in your business? I’m trying to understand where the investment opportunity is to grow your business further. Keep it up mate - love to watch these videos.
Public liability insurance is a life saver, me and my dad were clearing a factory full of racking, one of the support beams fell and went straight through the roof of a little office, £8000 repair bill, liability insurance paid the bill and our premium went up by about 20 quid for the year, we were over the moon!
very cool, hope all is well
Wow. Taco Stacks watching my video, It's an honour. Glad you enjoyed it pal. I hope one day to build a channel as big as yours 👍

Gotta love them boilers mate. Yea prices have gone back up at the minute, Hopefully it stays that way
What do you do with the rubbish after you collect it
What did it cost to dispose of the waste, or did you take it to the local tip, and tip it as if it is yours, for free.
No you cant pick up business waste and take to you local tip. We take them to waste transfer stations for a fee. If you separate the rubbish wood, general, hardcore ect, It can save you more money.

Public liability insurance is a must, one mistake or accident could wipe you out, £150 a year gives you £10 million worth of cover.

Where do you apply for the best public liability insurance?
