Awesome combos by the Guile expert! I especially loved the super combo's when the enemy is dead, but the super motion was completed before the KO. Great stuff, gilleybaba! You are the best at Guile combos!

I really envy your skills at this game. I just started out and I mainly play as Guile. Your "Pre-charging" video helped ALOT, but I still need some tutoring. I find it hard to do combos, but like you said: "Guile is a difficult character to play." Personally I think that it would be awesome if you were to make a long in-depth Guile guide. Great Guile combos, beautifully executed! I main Guile and I don't really use these long combo because it's rarely you find an opportunity to do it. No one will stand still for you! Plus if you miss, you can kiss goodbye to a good amount of your energy! Kudos for the great video though =)
@0jameslike0 It's called a pre-charge. You press charge back-down, go to forward quickly, quickly go back to back-down, and THEN throw your punch. This enables you to be charging for your 2nd sonic boom when your 1st is on the way. It takes a little bit of time to get use to the timing, but once you know about it, it makes using charge character much more feasible. Also, another thing to note about Guile is your back + lk and back + mk moves will NOT detract from your sonic charges.

Then SFIV came along and they made some of the combos to pull off next to impossible. After watching this...I'm agape in shock and awe. The pure power and unrelenting blast in the last 45 seconds of that repeat dash LP, strike, SB combo... *shakes head* Is there any better Guile video out there?!?!
the movement for your flashkick becomes apart of the super move. DB(charge) -> UF + Kick -> DB -> UF + Kick. Its like doing 2 flash kicks super fast with the diagonal directions.
@FurkoTurko28 Ye and how many Guile players actually ended up on top in tournies in SF4?How many Guile players were on Live or PSN online in SF4?Almost no one which means from 1000 ranked games you might face two ppl in SF4 who have actually played Guile.And now in SSF4 you face Guile players all the time.
@shakuforever Exactly. U can even cancel into regular flashkick (without using the meter), or super. What helps a lot is practising it without the jump. Add the jump if you can do it consistently without it. Always glad to help :)

for those who don't get it charges just take a mere 2 seconds simply count in your head 1 one thousand , 2 one thousand and your move will be ready you've got to get into the habit of hitting (down/back) as soon as you budge to do anything pretty much I've figured out few on my own up to 16 (all manual no super no ultra but the 15 hitter manual he did on gief was very inspiring )

@LeynaKieu actually it is a standing hard punch. u just hold back to do the punch and hit up to flash kick. so it'll be like a half circle up from down and u hit punnch on the way and then kick

Awesome combos! I doubt they'd be possible on a pad, though. I can barely pull off a pre-charge, and the super/ultra D-pad motion. Oh, and just as a bit of fun, watching this video in TEXTP mode (add "&textp=fool" to the end of the URL) is really trippy. Nevertheless, it looks pretty good when Guile goes into his ultra and the camera zooms in on him. Perhaps this is what an old PC might have done with Street Fighter IV! LOL (Happy April Fools' Day, everyone! XD)

The 2nd to last combo on Blanka for 16 hit was just incredible. This guy is hands down one of the best Guiles in the world at combos but I'd love to really see how he plays vs real people
Perform a normal flash kick, then as it hits immediately return to down+back and then to any up position and press kick again. Think of it like performing a second flash kick without the charge right after the first one hit. The only requirement is that you have to hit down+back (not just any down direction). You do not have to do the traditional triangle motion at all in this case.

no, you have to spend 2 bars to FADC (the forward dash) to be in range for the punches into sonic boom

skrface13 the only problem with Street fighter v is guile has limited potential. These combos in sf4 are way diverse than sfv.

@dmcadik You need to pre-charge your first flash kick and as soon as you get ready to hit the ground from the first flash, start your double flash.
I always knew guile was the best! when i was a kid I'd watch my friend's older brother kick ass with him.
