Thank you for showing us around Milwaukee and Green Bay! It’s really helpful to see and learn about these bigger cities. My spouse and I tend to shy away from urban travel, but you open open our mind to give them a try.
I'm actually in Milwaukee area this weekend doing some bicycle riding. Wisconsin as a state is great for bicycle riding. And there are so many great small and medium-sized cities with historic downtowns to check out here. Too numerous to mention.
Born and raised in Milwaukee. Robert, you did a fantastic job showing our city, for the amount of time that you were able to spend in Milwaukee. Wish we would have known you were in town, we would have loved to meet you. Looking forward to more videos from you. 😊
I am so glad you took the time to put your video's in order by episodes. It makes it much easier to navigate your travels by date. I am so happy to have found your channel. You really do take your audience with you and allow us to be there with you. Thank you!
Thanks for showing us how cool Milwaukee can be. I am not a museum person, generally speaking, but I did get to visit the Harley Davidson museum there a few years ago and it was awesome. Well worth a morning or afternoon of your time in the city.
I really enjoyed this video. Never got a chance to experience downtown Milwaukee or Green Bay for that matter when I was an over-the-road truck driver. Only passed by on the interstate. Really neat places to see, especially the time of year that you went. It seems like we've been on this #Summer2019 journey forever but you can feel it winding down. I have certainly enjoyed the journey and I'm thankful that you were here for us during the great pandemic of 2020!
Great video. I like Milwaukee. The residential Street, the whole market, the diverse architecture.I was surprised to see a building of the Valencian architect Santiago Calatrava. Beautiful video. Congrats..... and I'll see you on the road. Love MOM...>>>
Another great video Robert. Since I’m from IL, WI is the go to vacation destination for IL residents. It’s too bad you didn’t get up into Door County. We are going in mid October this year. The UP is awesome. The pictures Rocks have to be experienced. And for those that think “how bad can Lake Superior be” just look up some storm videos from there!!!!!! Looking forward to next weeks video.
I appreciate that you travel all around America and go to some underrated places like the Midwest, instead of just going to the over fantasized places such as the northeast and west.
Me to. Nobody really ever talks about the Midwest to travel to and you know they must have cool places to see right? I think because there are so many places higher on the "visit" list and we only have so much time and money so the midwest is going to get hit last. I would like to visit there to but not until I see other places on my list. Thanks for sharing your finds with us.❤️
Outstanding!!! We loved Wisconsin last summer when we flew up for Oshkosh Airventure. The atmosphere, beer, and cheese was second to none. So good we had to fly 2 cases of Spotted Cow IPA back to San Antonio with some smoked sausage and cheese kurds. Now I'm hyped for some home state "Pure Michigan" next week. Hurry up next Sunday.......LOL!
Awesome editing work an narration.I watch with my wife all your videos since many years back.I showed to my daughter (23)the one of the story of your life, very impressed with your humble and simple you are.Thank you for enterteing our lives with yours excellent videos.Stay safe.Saludos desde Toronto
Let me just start by saying that I have been through Milwaukee (on a train) but never been to the city so to speak. I will be back one day soon as Green Bay is also on my bucket list. Being a huge football fan Lambeau Field is on my visit places. I met someone in Vancouver at one of our local breweries who actually had a growler from Titletown Brewing and he told me check it out for sure when I do get to Green Bay finally! Thanks for another great video! Stay safe on your future travels!
Great video, Traveling Robert!! Wisconsin is such a wonderful state to live in, and the Pabst Mansion is something you should visit the next time you’re in town😊 Looking forward to watching the Michigan video.. my Home State.🥰 Michigan is filled with lots of good breweries, hope you got to enjoy a few🍻
How ironic that when entering the crowded marketplace that you said you preferred a little “social distancing.” Loved the video, thanks for keeping us entertained!
29:12 invest in a fly swatter good sir... other than that, enjoyed your videos, I started watching your channel back April 2020 and it was good seeing you travel to Milwaukee Wisconsin because Im moving there from Los Angeles California, looks like a great place to start over.
I hope it doesn't offend anyone, but your ability to arrive at a place that's closed makes me laugh and look forward to each episode. "Ah. closed on Mondays." LOL it's a talent you have, sir!
I have never been to Wisconsin but what you showed us was pretty nice. Something to remember for a next trip to the USA. There is one thing that bothers me. Your vlogs are always way too short. ;-) Thanks for sharing again.
Thanks for the virtual travel on this holiday weekend. Have actually traveled multiple times in Wisconsin and Michigan and really enjoyed this. Happy Memorial Day to you.
Hi Robert! I'm so glad you finally made it to my neck of the woods...Milwaukee and Wisconsin. Also glad you liked us. 🙂 We're a friendly state, and still down to earth. I was surprised that you passed on Door County. You must come back some time because it's a very popular and beautiful tourist destination, attracting people from around the world. I also highly recommend our gorgeous "up north", especially Minocqua/Vilas County area. Another huge destination is the Wisconsin Dells, known as the Waterpark Capital of the World. But it started out because of the very rare and pretty dell formations, which are still a big draw. There's a few other great areas that I'd be glad to share if you'd like, like Hayward with the huge chain of lakes, and Bayfield with Madeline Island on Lake Superior. Thanks for another great video!👍😀
I always love the videos you make. I would love to travel like that. I took 3 long trips last year and I enjoyed them so much. Thank you for sharing your videos.
Hi Robert. It sounds like the water pump was still running after you turned off the kitchen faucet. There's a set screw on the water pump to adjust it to keep the water line pressured. Take Care.
Robert, thanks for continuing to produce your travel videos and I always enjoy your observations and commentary! I am new to retirement and you've ignited the "travel bug."
You picked the right time to go up north. It's usually cooler than the southern states this time of year. And the flies are horrible this time of year. Next up my state. I will definitely watch next week.
Construction is happening downtown, The world's tallest timber tower, 25 story apt bldg, construction also started on 44 story apt/ office bldg by lakefront. In May 2022 construction starts on 32 story apt bldg in third ward across from Milwaukee market.
Hi Robert, last summer on the 4th we also stayed at the Wisconsin State Fair RV park. Great 👍 location and close to everything! Thanks for sharing your your travels.
Glad you enjoyed Milwaukee Bobert! Yes, that's us.... cheese, beer, music, and the lake. I now call Lakeland, FL home. I'm like you, I like pelicans rather than flies 😉!! Happy trails Bobert!! ❤️🖤
That ridge wallet actually looks pretty cool and efficient. Thanks for advertising a product people can actually use! I like that instead of crazy products like self-grinding beef or pre-popped balloons. :-) )I'll be getting a ridge wallet in just a couple days. Thanks!
Funny you said your kind of a "social distance guy" ... if you only knew then what we are doing now lol ... I hope you have a Happy Merry and a Merry Happy. Hope to see you on the road.
Thanks for showing those ridge wallets. Just ordered one for my husband for his birthday! He will love it! Always complaining about how massive his wallet is!
Plenty of brew pubs in Milwaukee for.next time Robert. Lakefront brewing has a nice tour and excellent beer. You could do the river tour that stops at 3 brew pubs. I've been fishing in Algoma and there is a winery there. Titletown is a.good brew pub. I'm a Bears fan but GB hall of fame museum is worth a stop. Wisconsin has reasonable prices and the best cheese. Use to live there. Door County fish boil is a must. Thanks for posting. Glad you enjoyed my old stomping grounds.
Very interesting...my remedy for flies is to take a small towel and swat away at them like a crazy person, eventually you will knock them silly/ stun them long enough to disorient them and then dispose of the pesty things...lol
Milwaukee is a best kept secret....Great City. Next time, check out the Spy theme restaurant and Bar "The Safe House" but you have to know the secret password to enter. Thanks for sharing your trip!
Good afternoon Robert, another amazing episode! Plus your traveling route ( around USA) in the beginning! I am going to start from NYC.......and going to have the same route as yours, and Canada too!
Hey you finally made it to my state. I never knew about a 3rd ward art festival. One place I love in the 3rd ward is the Purple Door the best ice cream in Wisconsin. I was actually at the public market just one weekend before last year so I missed you by one week.
Hope you return to WIS. soo much you missed! The diftless area at the southwest portion of the state. The mid area with the yellow river, the dells, ect. and the woods in the north. Gosh I miss that area!
Ohhhh Awwwww Cheese❤. We love how you drive through residential area towing. We hope to someday be able to parallel park the rv. To be fearless towing our little rv like you. Lou & Angie
Great video! I’m catching up on all your videos, but looking forward to the next one because you’ll be in my home area, the U.P! BTW, where you stopped for gas at the end of the video, you labeled as Escanaba, Wisconsin, is actually Marinette, Wisconsin. Escanaba is in Michigan, another hour north. I hope you had a good time up north, and the weather cooperated! See you next video!
Like so many other parts of the US, gentrification in Milwaukee occured only after the area fell into disrepair following factories closure & jobs went to another country which shall remain unnamed.
Cool video, Robert. Glad you were able to get an IPA in Green Bay and some good Wisconsin cheese. I chuckled when you were walking downtown because I saw the mural of a lady on the side of a building and she didn't have a head. Haha.
Ha ha, that was my impression also. I think it was implied that he had more than one drink when he started to positively critique the combination of hops to fruitiness.
You may have missed part of the last episode. The hurricane he thought was heading towards Miami went a different direction. He didn't have to go back to FL. So, he was able to turn around and continue his trip towards Hershey, PA.
awesome video and it was weird and funny that you mentioned "social distancing" as we are currently actually doing that wow hahaha!! crazy how the world works..I enjoyed you actually taking the time to see a lot of what our city has to offer..and Milwaukee is for sure a party city hands down! not to mention we have the best beer as well :) glad you enjoyed Wisconsin..safe travels on your Journey!
Hey Robert, I have a major complaint about this week's video: it's too short! :-) But seriously, one of the reasons I love your videos is they capture the vibe of cross country road trips-- driving through small towns and rural countrysides, walking around a city and chancing upon fairs and festivals, and even missing out on things because they're closed that day. And, it goes without saying, never enough time to see everything!
I've lived many places...but Milwaukee is Home. And I'm not even from Wisconsin. And you took the BEST route (along the lake) to Green Bay. Most people take the expressway but then you miss all the beautiful views. Too bad you couldn't get to Door Country. In my opinion, the best part of Wisconsin.
Awe. Wish I would have known you last year, My husband and I would have met up with you here were we live. Hope you can come visit again. So much more to see in WI. You would have loved to see the WI. Dells, Nicole National Forest and Lake Superior In northern WI. stay safe.
Glad you made it to my hometown! - Its a great city, but the winters are brutal (which is why I live in California now!). I still try to get back a couple times a year (between May and early Oct.) Its too bad you did not head to Lakefront Brewery, which has a much BETTER tour, and much better beer than Miller!
Howdy Robert, thanks a lot for sharing yet another superb video about your travels here which-need I point out-I thoroughly enjoyed watching as usual. It is so nice to be able to follow you on your trips buddy, especially in these trying times we are going through because of that nasty coronavirus scourge.Your videos are a welcome distraction surely.Fortunately the lockdown is gradually being lifted now here in Belgium,Europe so that I will be able to travel throughout the continent again soon.Keep up the good work and stay safe,ok?Best wishes and cordial greetings from William across the Big Pond.
Wisconsin does a few things better than any place on earth. Truly a special place with very genuine people.
That is so sweet of you to say! I agree! Obviously I'm a native. Where are you from?
Glad to see that Milwaukee is so nice. It is mice to see all the different types of architecture.
Thank you for showing us around Milwaukee and Green Bay! It’s really helpful to see and learn about these bigger cities. My spouse and I tend to shy away from urban travel, but you open open our mind to give them a try.
Geez...One of the BEST travelogues I've seen on a city! Great Job! You hit ALL the high points!
I'm actually in Milwaukee area this weekend doing some bicycle riding. Wisconsin as a state is great for bicycle riding. And there are so many great small and medium-sized cities with historic downtowns to check out here. Too numerous to mention.
Until this episode all I knew of Milwaukee came from Laverne & Shirley. Really enjoying this series.
Thanks Robert

Home!!!! When the New York Times calls you one of the most underrated cities around, you’re doing something right.
Another fun and fascinating video! Love the channel, God bless! 😀
Robert, glad you enjoyed Milwaukee & Wisconsin. Other than the weather, it's a great state to be in.

Ha ha, that was my impression also. I think it was implied that he had more than one drink when he started to positively critique the combination of hops to fruitiness.
Robert: I need to head back to Florida as quick as I can.
Also Robert: *Spends an entire episode on a single city*
Edit: And also heads north
You may have missed part of the last episode. The hurricane he thought was heading towards Miami went a different direction. He didn't have to go back to FL. So, he was able to turn around and continue his trip towards Hershey, PA.
I think the pelicans will be upset ,that's their saying, lol! Awesome video thanks Robert 😊
Believe it or not...There ARE pelicans on Lake Michigan!
awesome video and it was weird and funny that you mentioned "social distancing" as we are currently actually doing that wow hahaha!! crazy how the world works..I enjoyed you actually taking the time to see a lot of what our city has to offer..and Milwaukee is for sure a party city hands down! not to mention we have the best beer as well :) glad you enjoyed Wisconsin..safe travels on your Journey!
Great and amazing its like travelling with you Robert you must think of coming to South Africa
keep showing the rv advantages of having your home with you
Hey Robert, I have a major complaint about this week's video: it's too short! :-)

Was hoping you would visit Laverne and Shirley and invite Lenny and Squiggy to the local pub for an IPA but I guess that was not meant to be...
Awe. Wish I would have known you last year, My husband and I would have met up with you here were we live. Hope you can come visit again. So much more to see in WI. You would have loved to see the WI. Dells, Nicole National Forest and Lake Superior In northern WI. stay safe.
Might be going back this summer.
I can't believe you drove through Algoma. My dad is from just down the road from there. Also, Renard's cheese is the greatest cheese on the planet.
Glad you made it to my hometown! - Its a great city, but the winters are brutal (which is why I live in California now!).
I still try to get back a couple times a year (between May and early Oct.)
Its too bad you did not head to Lakefront Brewery, which has a much BETTER tour, and much better beer than Miller!
Hey Robert, have you posted the second part of this video, where you travel through the Upper Peninsula?
This Sunday
Thank you William. See you some day when we cross the pond.
Have you ever make your way back to South Dakota don't miss the waterfall at Sioux falls
SAY "CHEEEEEEEESE"
Hola amigo, hope you are well. I can’t seem to find the coffee making technique video?
Nice clip, watching your clips, means travelling with you by sitting at home.. Greetings from India
I could not find a video on your channel on Door County. It's the part of WI that sticks out like a knife.
Haven't really been there yet, but it's on the list.
That was excellent, thank you.
Robert! You need a Bugasalt salt gun! To kill bugs quickly! Best thing I’ve bought from Cabela’s!
I was going to say that but you beat me to the punch!
