Steve...I'm loving your classes. I'm 66 & am always willing to learn. Also, you & your wife are doing a super job, raising those children. That Marill is precious!! And your boy's were adorable in the story about them & their love of country music. Oh man...your making some amazing stories about some even more fantastic people. Is kindness the same thing as altruism or selflessness? One might be kind to others because then they will be kind to you in return, in which case it is in one's own interest to be kind. But if it's in one's own interest to be kind (which I think it often is) why call it "altruistic" or "selfless"? Why not call it "self-interested" or "selfish" or "egoistic"?
Steve and his children are a wonderful example. The good they are doing will definitely bring happiness to others..
