Eja Moon Sometimes and a lot of times kindness costs us a lot personally as humans when people trample all over us and we’re nice and kind people and get walked all over and left in the friend zone by women, and taken advantage of. Niceness and kindness are rare in this world because they are very rarely rewarded and nowadays typically niceness and kindness are stomped on and the nice kind person is punished. I don’t want to be nice or kind anymore. Genuine is what I’m shooting for.
I remember one time I was sitting at a bar alone...crying because of personal issues. A kind waitress came and just gently laid a plate of donuts down and told me not to worry bout paying for them its on her. After that I cried some more but this time because I was so moved by her kind gesture. I tipped her $40.
Ngl, I can't imagine anyone declining when someone who is physically impaired asks you to help cut their food. Then again, I don't live in America, here it's common courtesy.
Kind acts happen everyday and the reason this one stands out is because it went viral, it got media attention, whereas the media only likes to shove the vile and horrible things that happen everyday
YGuy1 that’s because seeing as to all the negative shit you see on the news, elders being murdered/beat up, jacked for their money and possessions. Of course this got spotlight. And of course she got rewarded, she did something sweet for this man.

If you have a serious condition in your hands and fingers you cannot just cut food easy so what she did for that man was very good . That chap got to eat his meal so he is happy. That sweet girl is going too do well in her life.

All she did was slice a piece of meat when a customer requested it. This is basic customer service. She gets a SCHOLARSHIP for this?!? Ridiculous. The service industry in her state must be god awful
I think it’s a deeper message behind it. Yes all this happened just because she helped some old guy but i think it underlines an important point. If you go out of your way to be kind to others maybe something like this could happen to you. Therefore it encourages overall selflessness in a selfish society.
Education is expensive. It'd be nice if the government introduced a program where you were indebted to them in work hours depending on how much you payed for college. Depending on the degree you get, you work for a fair amount of time. It could be working in the military, for a police force, or for another government sponsored job.
@@karbonkai There are other ways though compared to the American schooling system. Here in the UK, we get higher education paid for by a company called student financing company. Then after you graduate and start earning a minimum of £26,575 a year the money starts coming off your paycheck, and not in ridiculous amounts. It's an investment in your future. It's also written off after 30 years after you start re-paying it so don't have to worry about it in your older age if you haven't fully re-paid it.
@@parthkachhia4117 that's a system that makes sense. That particular company is profiting off the interest they gain from the loans, but the government would gain from free labor.

Just her luck she gets to profit from it while we all sit her wondering what she did differently than the rest of us common folk who do the exact same thing. I just don’t get it.
More people should act like her. Unfortunately in today’s world people only help others to make themselves look good or if there is something in it for them.
Storm Hunter its awesome that her kindness is getting recognized but how many people would actually say no to helping that old man? Not many people working customer service
Tiffany Feng Are you for real? Most waitresses would of replied they were too busy and excused themselves. Her tasks as her waitress do not involve cutting up someone’s food up and before you say she did it for the tip, you should realize by taking more time on this man, she made other customers wait longer which would result in lower tips from them. Being a kind person always pays off in the end. Just be happy for people.
Think about the more positive side of things. It’s more like her kindness is being acknowledged so that people will see and want to do their own acts of kindness and it’s basically the butterfly effect 🦋
Do you live in the middle of war? This is completely normal behaviour. What's next? A random guy is becoming president because he helped an old lady over the street? Idk man, good for that woman I guess but I don't know why this is such a big deal.

The real problem is that education shouldn't be so expensive that an entire generation needs to collect tips and wait tables.
Education is expensive. It'd be nice if the government introduced a program where you were indebted to them in work hours depending on how much you payed for college. Depending on the degree you get, you work for a fair amount of time. It could be working in the military, for a police force, or for another government sponsored job.
@@karbonkai tuition got expensive excatly because of gouvernment policies, i hardly doubt more would be better.
@@richarddaigle8777 I'm not sure how government policies made college expensive, schooling is just costly because of supply and demand.
